Fantastically located, fantastically cozy hotel with an absolutely perfect breakfast. Being "five steps" from the heart of the old town creates a specific aura, if that's what you're looking for. However, it's possible that some people would prefer a glass building somewhere near the port rather than a hotel in the old town.

I didn't really like the shower in my room, because when you take a shower, you have to use the entire bathroom. There is a parking lot nearby, which doesn't seem to be guarded, but nothing happened to the car there. I'm not sure I would be completely calm leaving an expensive car there.

The counter staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the attractions in the Old Town.

The lift doesn't go up to the fourth level where we stayed. The lift stopped at the third level and we had to walk and roll our luggage along a long corridor that turns into a shorter corridor and across wooden thresholds. It was quite a hassle to manage our luggage. Fortunately, the lady staff member on duty that day helped carry our luggage up the curved staircase. On the early morning that we checked out, a male staff member helped carry our luggage down the curved staircase. Without their help, our stay wouldn't have been pleasant. The coffee machine in the room did not work nor was there a replacement for the non-working machine despite the staff knowing about the matter

Perfect location in the downtown Old Town core. Walking distance to all Sites you could think of going. Restaurant was excellent, we went there for dinner. Breakfast buffet was delicious with huge variety. Walking distance to countless other restaurants cafes and bars. Room was quiet. Bed super comfortable. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Even though there was an elevator once you got on your appropriate floor there were still a couple steps up here a couple steps down there a couple steps up here and several doors to go through. Which made it very awkward when you were pulling large suitcases. Parking was 2 km away which was very inconvenient. They gave you a car permit but still it was not obvious what to do in the small parking lot behind some buildings.

But the receptionist was very helpful and comprehensive and let me leave my luggage. I need to mention It's my second time in the hotel (first Oct. 2022) and that would say more than I could. So almost everything. Situated in the middle of the old town, very well connected with the monuments and restaurants around the area, for example the street take to Oleviste Kogudus (St. Olaf’s church) and 2 museums as well. They got a nice restaurant and few terraces where you can enjoy a drink. I loved the style of the hotel. I will definitely try go back in November for Xmas Market.

The only thing, I arrived at 8 to the hotel and I couldn't do the check in early this time.

Lovely little hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Kettle and mini fridge in room. Decent shower in bathroom. Our room was above the street but really very quiet in the main. Great breakfast buffet with something to suit everyone.

I don't have cows milk so was delighted to see oat milk available at breakfast. However once the carton ran out, I was told there was no more, so 2 mornings (out of 4)there was none, which was disappointing, especially as, these days I would expect one non-dairy alternative to be available.

Location; its close to all main attractions in old town: Town square where Christmas markets are held, KGB prison, Aleksander Nevski Cathedral, Railway Station, restaurants like Olde Hansa. Rooms: We had 2 bedroom rooms which had a good size (not too small), with attached bath. The rooms were equipped with standard amenities. Wifi worked really good. Staff were super friendly. Hotel’s restaurant was wonderful with delicious food. Breakfast was good with variety of choices. Overall excellent for the price.

The bathroom had no hooks at all. The cupboard in my room was small and the hanger was fixed vertically which was quite annoying.

The only fault at breakfast the bacon wasn't crispy but it was soggy...

We stayed here after Christmas just for one night. Everything went well, the location is the Old Town is nice.

The breakfast wasn't bad but it was just "OK". I don't remember if there was much choice for gluten-free options.. We found dirty strings on the carpeted floor and put them in the trash can in the toilet. The reason the cleaner had probably not noticed them – neither had we, at first – is likely because the strings were the same tone as the carpeted floor, so they camouflaged well. It was still a bit awkward. We didn't complain because this happened just at the end of our stay and we forgot the whole thing, until we went to Tallinn again this week.

Meriton was a beautiful, small property in a great location to the Old Town and Telliskivi Creative City - we had an attic room which was very large by European standards, very comfortable and well appointed. Parking is provided by the hotel by registering your car with a public parking area approximately 5 min walk - we were able to park overnight. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast included a made to order hot item in addition to the buffet. The restaurant on the lower level was also quite good for a late lunch when we arrived.

While not a dislike - and understandable given the property, guests should know that if you book a room on upper floor, the lift only goes to 3rd floor so luggage has to be carried up 1-2 narrow flights.

Really good breakfast, both the food and the large breakfast space. Staff were very friendly and supportive, such as being present through the night and available early 5h morning when leaving to airport. Central place in Old town, very beautiful.

The proposed free of charge parking is on 15 minutes walk and is a non-guarded spot. The complete lack of a table for working with the laptop was a disappointment. Maybe it is meant to go to the large breakfastroom withthe many tables?
