The room we stayed in was great overall, even though a far walk without an elevator. Other rooms are closer, but we had one of the two last ones. The breakfast was good with a good variety: bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, fish, vegetables and fruit. The bread was also fresh and there were pancakes to take from, plus different juices. The Italian restaurant is also really good and as hotel guests, we got a discount on our dinner, and we had a good time with our charming waiter.

It has been a struggle to get to our room, since there was no elevator and with more than one piece of luggage, it was an adventure to get to the room furthest away from the reception.

Perfect location, amazing old building right in the Old city:) I enjoyed the uniqueness of the building itself the endless corridors and shapes of the walls) Although the room I had was very tiny it was perfectly set with everything you may need and the shower area was still spacy and nice. Beautiful wall styling and nice bed and furniture, good mattresses. Nice touch with the welcome card and amazingly delicious macaroon:) Very friendly staff, very kind made Ekaterina) Good quality suppliers and you really have everything you need, like safe, hairdryer, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, dishes, bath cloths, etc. and this all is impressive because you never expect this from a very small hotel and it's unbelievable that all this fits perfectly in a very small room:) Simply enjoyable! As one of my basic reasons of choosing the hotel was the historical building and design I felt very disappointed to see on one hand perfectly suitable walls, beds and furniture with ugly carpets and chandeliers from 90's everywhere that ruined the whole atmosphere. The breakfast was very good but seems they didn't refresh it so the ones who come after or around 10:00 get what is left) but don't worry there is still a choice as the variety was good and you definitely will find smth)

This is an old European hotel that has been updated - quality workmanship - exactly what I was looking for. The location is great, close to the Old Town square and easy access to bus and tram lines. A great morning breakfast was included, and a very nice restaurant and bar. Friendly and competent staff. really great price for my 8 day May visit.

You need to be aware since this is an OLD establishment there is no elevator, so it is 20 plus steps to any room, and I was at the top that was about 45, several hallways along the way. I likes that, but some may not.

We had a wonderful stay at the CRU Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Tallinn's Old City Center, making it easy to explore all the charming sights. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic—delicious and with a great variety of options to start the day off right. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tallinn!

The hotel has no elevator, something we didn’t notice in the description, and the staircase was quite steep—important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Additionally, the photos of the rooms felt somewhat misleading compared to how they were in reality. Our room description mentioned a sauna, but there wasn’t one, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a charming hotel, but a bit more attention to accurate descriptions and accessibility would make the experience even better.

Perfect small romantic hotel for visits to Old Tallinn!! After checking over 500 hotel in over 100 countries, this hotel is one of the best hotels ever!! The service was very effective (the hotel called me twice by phone to make our stay good), the upgraded room was just perfect with all necessities, the breakfast was very good. So, we had everything we could have imagined - and for what low fee!

Hard to find anything. But, when we tried to use the luxury coffee maker in our room (on early breakfast), the machine just "swallowed" twice our small packages of coffee - and we just got hot water out from the machine. So, some written advice how to use the machine would be good....

Our room exceeded expections - better than photos on the website. Our beds were comfortable, very warm doonas, exceptionally quiet as we were back off the main street. Breakfast was a small selection of local foods. Staff were very helpful. The location is amazing - close to everything in old town Tallinn - historical sites, museums, restaurants and coffee shops. Above all the hotel is full of historical character and charm.

There was not much we didn't like, bar the sewerage odours occasionally wafting in the bathroom. As the building is several hundred years old this was to be expected and didn't worry us too much.

The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a thoughtful variety of fresh, high-quality sweet and savory items. Excellent WiFi made it easy to stay connected. I couldn’t have asked for more!

It was an amazing building so beautiful and nice in the old town. The vibe in the hotel was very good. It had unique details all over the place. The rooms were clean. It was very quiet although it is in the heart of old town. Amazing location.

Staff was kind but so many of them didn't speak english which made it difficult to communicate. Another thing was the many stairs, it didn't bother me most days but you need to know if you are older or have any mobility issues.

The hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants, bars, shops and all the sites within the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is so lovely with historical elements to the rooms, feels like a unique place to stay. Comfy beds, good shower, nicely equipped rooms with fridge, sofa, TV and hairdryer. Breakfast was really tasty with hot and cold options and served until 11am which was good after a late night out on the town.

Can’t fault anything, would stay again.

The rooms were spacious with each room offering something unique. The hotel appears small from the outside but once inside you find it goes back a long way. The corridors are quirky and lit in such a way that captures the uniqueness and history of the building. The location was perfect within a 5 minute walk of the Christmas market. I could rave about this hotel all day long.

The only downside I noted (it is literally the only downside) was a lack of disabled access, if you are a wheelchair user, or struggle with stairs this hotel is not for you.
