The location was incredible. The hotel is right in the middle of old town. We were at the annex bulding, right across the street from the main building so you have to get fully dressed to get breakfast but it was ok for us, and the breakfast was very good, all kinds of different selection, and delicious. The room was very large and comfy as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we had a very lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

The glass in the room was left dirty with someone else's lipstick mark. I showed the glass to the reception and they immediately provided a new glass and apologized. In any case, check the glasses in the room before using.

The hotel is in a great location close to the edge of Old Town. There is good access from the nearby main roads (we caught the tram in from the airport and walked a few minutes to the hotel). You're then also very close to the heart of Old Town so there is easy walking access to all the main places to see. The location is the main advantage. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel, which is literally across the street from the main hotel. It was a clean and tidy room, modern bathroom and top floor views.

Just be aware that this hotel is close to some bars and restaurants.....and depending which side of the hotel you are on, you may become aware of this at 3-4am. We stayed in Tallinn at end-Feb and despite the very low overnight temps, there were occasional noises outside at that time. The only other slight negative is that the breakfast area is a little limited in capacity, so get there early if you want to be sure of a table but the breakfast was fine and good enough to get you moving for the day.

Breakfast was at the old building, and excellent. There were lots of guests, mostly in groups, and the staff worked without stopping to refill dishes. Everything flowed well. We had 2 double rooms in the annex just up the street, on the 4th floor, and they were very quiet. Our daughter-in-law's bathroom had a bathtub and she enjoyed using it, since she only has showers in her house. It is very close to the Old Town Square and also to the perimeter roads, buses and shopping centres.

Nothing. The single lift in the annex building is tiny for luggage and guests, but we travelled with our 2 teenage grandchildren and we are active 80 something year olds, so we put the luggage in and walked up and down the 4 stories several times a day.

Great location in the centre of the old town. Historic building with the charm from yesteryear while also offering modern facilities (there are 2 sites near each other & we stayed in the historic building). Staff were very polite & helpful (thanks, Yuri). Our room was a junior suite with a skylight window, plenty of space to spread out. Bed was big & comfortable & shower & bath was superb. Breakfast was quite good with an ample range of both fresh & hot food.

Entrance to the hotel was a little compact - the space between the front door & the internal revolving door was minimal, especially with luggage in hand, often leading to temporary jams of the doors. The internal revolving door in particular was very compact, making it difficult to rotate the door while carrying your luggage. A couple of steps at the front added to this difficulty, but I guess part of that is due to the age of the building. Our bath & shower had no screen or curtain so showering meant water sprayed all over the shower floor & adjacent toilet. The tap water both in-room & through the dispenser at breakfast had a terrible metallic-like taste, very strong, making it undrinkable, despite the signs saying it was very safe to drink from the tap. Sorry, couldn't do it.

big room & bathroom with a tub, really nice reception and reception hall with nice comfy couches and tables to relax. really comfortabel bed. located in the center of Tallinn, everything is walkable. We walked from the ferry station - its roughly a 20min walk, but most of the time already in the beautiful historical city centre. nice shops, bars and restaurants nearby - can recommend "Pub Kompressor" for salty and sweet creppes, not too expensive :) Breakfast buffet is also very delicious - "Eat as much as you can, but dont waste the food" :)

I just love this hotel! I always stay here when coming through Tallinn and right at the entrance I feel like coming home. The hotel has an amazing smell, also their soap etc. have a similar delicious aroma. Wonderful historic hotel interior, rooms and one of the elevators is from 100 years ago - so stylish. The location is right in the center, everything is just around the corner . The staff is wonderful! Friendly, helpful, professional - at any time of the day (even when you arrive late or leave early etc.). Breakfast is wonderful with a super view from the dining area on the oldtown. I also was very very thankful for the amazing upgrade, getting the room with the most amazing view! Also pet friendly which my rabbits and I very much appreciate :)

The room was very large, quiet, clean and well equipped (we had the basic room in the side building). Breakfast was served on the first floor of the main building in a magnificent space with tall windows, breakfast was good. Staff very nice and helpful. Checkout time reasonable (noon). The location was great, everything in the historic center of the city easily reachable on foot. Public transport nearby.

The lifts were quite small even in the side building (we thought the lifts would be larger there then in the main building), so we ended up parking our baby's pram next to the lift downstairs, as did at least 2 other families during our stay. In the end, it worked out fine. Furthermore, it was easier to cary the pram into the breakfast room up one flight of stairs rather than using the old (very beautiful wrought iron) lift.

The room was modern and spacious with very comfy beds. Staff were nice and arranged a takeaway breakfast for us on departure as we had to leave for an early flight. The location is excellent for exploring the old town.

There was some confusion on arrival about which building we had booked. I would suggest changing the name 'classic' to 'modern' as then it is easier to distinguish between the two. I assumed on booking that 'classic' would be the traditional building, but that is called 'historic'. Reading other comments, it seems I am not the only one to have made this mistake. There were cups in the room, but no kettle. We asked for one from reception and they brought it to us, but wouldn't it be easier to just put kettles in all of the rooms?

Spent two nights in the historical building junior suite. Beside getting a great off season price for the 37m2 suite ,I found the 1912 building charming with early 20th century art nouveau reminders everywhere. Very clean ,great buffet breakfasts, very kind and flexible staff ( I mean they have made it possible to have vegetarian breakfast box ready for a very early departure....) All and all ,not my first time in Tallinn ,nor my last time ,and sure enough if I need to book a room there again ,this hotel will be toplist .Did I mention location 😉❤️

Great location for seeing the sights. Extremely helpful friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice breakfast and old quirky lift.

The ‘classical side building’, where we booked our room, is above a bar/nightclub and directly opposite another. We were given a room above the bar and didn’t get to sleep until 4am due to the noise and thudding music. A phone call to reception at 3am to complain resulted in a move to the main building in the morning and an extremely quiet room for which we were very grateful! I understand that the original room, not sure about others, is only allotted when the hotel is full.
