Tallink Express hotel was very cozy, we really like breakfast - all you can eat, even to do Belgium waffles with ice cream :) Earlier check in was possible with additional charge 10 EUR, which was fine. It is really very close to dock on the boat and also to city center, all is walking distance. There is also possibility to go to spa for small charge. It was very nice with hot water, bar and 6 saunas. Receptionists were very nice and always try to advice.

Everyone was very nice, but some of personnel was not able to speak in English, they always find their boss, who deal with us. It just surprised us, nothing really wrong.

A major point for the hotel is that you are able to use the sauna, spa, and pool at the adjoing Tallink Spa and Conference center for a very discounted price. The hotel is located near the metro, markets, and restaurants and a few minutes walk from a ferry terminal for trips to Helsinki. Rooms were comfortable and more than adequate for a stay the night before and after taking the ferry to Helsinki. It offers a free breakfast that has an ample amount of options. There are also public parking lots within a few minutes walk of the hotel that cost less than 10 euro per day when we stayed.

Family room was quite small but comfortable for one night stay. We liked possibility to self check-in and check-out and breakfast was good, with a variety of food for adults and a kid. Also, as hotel residents we had a special price to SPA (10€ for adult and 5€ for kid) which was really enjoying after a long day spent exploring the city. Access to SPA is inside the hotel, you can just go from your room in flip flops. Hotel has its own parking but there is a much cheaper public parking lot (6€ for 24h) just beside the hotel. Perfect location as the city centre is in 10 minutes walking from the hotel.

The single minus was a bad smell in the corridor from the recycling waste bins next to elevator.

The hotel is very pleasant, rooms are wide enough and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful with whatever you require. The rooms are also warm in winter and nicely equipped. Rooms are cleaned every second day. It's so close to the city center that we didn't need to use public transport at all.

Even though everything was fine, I think that it would be nice to add a fridge in the room and think about changing some items at breakfast. Because we had the same things for 5 days, but since the selection is quite big, it wasn't too big of a deal.

Close to both old town and the docks, ideal if you're planning to include a ferry trip. Staff were relaxed and friendly. Breakfast was respectable and you can purchase a lunch buffet at a reasonable price. Nearby Circle K petrol station serves cheap but excellent burgers and hot dogs, plus shop priced beer that you can take back to the hotel if you wish.

Staff were nice but not forthcoming with volunteering information, you tend to have to ask about things. Breakfast was decent but lacked variety from day to day, but it is the only hotel I've stayed at which includes ice cream for breakfast, and very good ice cream it is too, so my minor criticisms are forgiven.

Our reservation was without breakfast. The room was large enough for 2 person. There was a child bed that was not useful for us. It was better if they take it outside. The temperature of the room was quit nice. The best point was about location. As we had a early morning ticket to Helsinki by ferry, it was the choice for us in only 5 minutes walking distance to the port. This hotel has a swimming pool which is not free, but we enjoyed its pool and bar inside.

I wish it had a free coffee machine and free entrance fee for the pool. Although they told us about every other day cleaning, but we preferred to have daily cleaning.

Location was convenien for me - if you are traveling from Helsinki to Tallinn by car, on a ferry, and need to drive further on the next day - it;s a convinient overnight stay. There is a cheap publick parking nearby (6.5 euro per 24h). Room is super-simple, but clean.

It was a bit hot during the night, though I did not look for AC, how is it set. Nothing else to say, as we just slept there and then continued our trip in the morning.

Upon arrival, the service at reception was exceptional. The gentleman working was very friendly and hospitable, and was very helpful with any questions we had. The rooms were a nice size, clean, comfy beds, and the shower was amazing! Hello pressure! Something I have never felt in a hotel before. I like strong shower pressure, and this was better than my home! Overall, the facilities were great, and would definitely return on my next visit to Tallinn.

Negative comment on scrambeled eggs-looked like from powder rather than real..... Please do not show photos od swimming pool for Express hotel !! I feel cheated, as I was asked to pay additionaly!!

Not that modern inside but honestly you get everything you need. It is clean, not cold, relatively spacious room. Breakfast is good. There was enough to choose from. Location is super good. Close to port, old town and railway station. Super helpful and friendly personal - A huge PLUS!

Could be more modern inside, but I guess it would cost more!
