Pretty good location near the city center. If you are going to a concert or event in Tavara-Asema the location is just perfect. nähden sijainti on täydellinen. Large apartment kind of room. Kitchen, fridge and untensils in the room. Cheap and does what you need. Clerk at the reception was really nice! Got everything we needed as we had some extra requests.

Hotel is a little bit out of date. Little bit of modernization would be necessary. When you type the address to navigation system, you will arrive to a parking lot behind the hotel building. This lot is for maintanence purposes. Customer parking is in the front of the house. Quality and price matches pretty ok

The location was just right, the staff were both brilliant, and they really did their best to make my stay a very nice one. I liked it that the room is equipped with a small kitchen, so I could make tea/coffee or something small to eat in the evenings, too. It all had a very homely feel.

My visit was in the low season, so I had breakfast in my room as there were not a lot of guests around. I would have preferred to have breakfast in the dining room.

Kaj was very helpful. We booked the family room. The room had 2 single beds , a TV, Kitchen (small fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker...) and a sofa cum bed and a clean bathroom. We have taken the breakfast at extra pay option while booking. Kaj and his wife put up a good spread of breads, porridge, and cheese.. they also ensured that our needs were accommodated. The place is vintage place and we liked the hotel. It can be better publicized and price adjusted

We felt it was a bit on the expensive side. we paid 145Euros for one night. in the bathroom, water after a shower reaches the toilet even if the curtain is used. a Mop has been provided, but it is best if water does not reach, The Shower head needs some maintenance and de-blocking. we did not have to book a large room with Kitchen. If the beds were together, we could have slept in it with our 7 year old without trouble.

The hotel is linked to the industrial history of Tampere, having been built for women workers. As a result each room has a kitchen area which was great. We bought fresh food at market over the road and ate in room. Breakfast was stunning, wide range of well cooked and presented food. Staff very positive and friendly. Initially thought hotel was not too close to centre as arrived at station, but found different route in, in fact hotel 5 mins from cathedral. Also initially thought decor was a bit old fashioned, but later read the hotel wanted to preserve the 1950s look, which was cool! The hotel is a quirky place that grows in you!

There are pictures of sauna, but in fact you need to ask to have it put on and pay €30, so pictures are a bit misleading. There is also a picture of a bar, but there isn't one!

Room was good and equipped with all the necessary amenities for staying longer. Especially positive is fact that there was kitchen in room to prepare lunch and dinner while staying in the hotel. Happy to see friendly staff.

All was fine for a short (2 day) stay.

one or two things could be added to the kitchen (like a watercooker) but the basics were there (pot, pan, coffee machine toaster...); We had no control over the room temperature (but this seems to be a finnish thing)

Check in was easy and straight forward, the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and labelled well with allergens. I have coeliac so that was important for me so I appreciate the effort!

Everything was nice.

Perfect location, close to center and with parking option. I stay here whenever i come to Tampere.

The hotel is not checking the messages when i try to communicate through booking. They need to check and answer questions daily.

The rooms with kitchenette were very practical for our stay and allowed us to prepare quick family meals. The staff was extremely helpful and the place has an interesting history. Close to the train station and tram stop.

The place is very near to city centre, room was very clean and nice, parking has lots of space.

Noise from the street in the night and breakfast was very average. Waited for ca. 15 min for fried eggs and they were still undercoocked... :(
