The staff was amazing, so lovely and kind in helping us out with directions. We arrived late at night and they were very friendly. The room was perfect, super clean and comfortable with all the right amenities. The iron and kettle is on another floor in shared facilities but they were spotless and super well organised. Breakfast was fantastic too!

The shuttle to the hotel was very cramped and not as frequent as we would've liked. We also arrived right before public holidays so the shuttles weren't running the next day, but the lovely staff at reception helped us out with directions and tips.

I stay at this airport hotel time all the time and for a good reason. It really does feel like coming home a little. The staff is just wonderful, the rooms are basic, but comfy, and you can't beat the location. Shuttle service is convenient and timely. Breakfast is served early and delicious. Exactly what I'm looking for in a restaurant.

The restaurant was closed due to the sickness of chef. There aren't really any other options in the neighborhood. I was offered to take the shuttle to a partner hotel to eat at that restaurant, but with an early flight in the morning that's a less than ideal solution.

Pilot Airport Hotel is situated in a nice quiet residential area. The price is reasonable. Good Customer Services skills shown by the staff (Sini, Nadia & Pinja) and an excellent team work exhibited by the Team. Wow!! Excellent spread of breakfast. George (The Restaurant Manager) was very good. I didn’t like the dinner he recommended to me, “I LOVED THE DINNER”. Free airport shuttle was a ‘BONUS’. Would I stay at Pilot Airport Hotel again? 100% YES! Highly recommended.

The restroom area gets flooded after a shower. Though, this is common with most hotels in Europe.

The airport shuttle service was wonderful, we were coming in late and they accommodated us so well and the shuttle back to the airport very early morning flight. Again the shuttle service was so good and really relieved our anxiety about getting back on time. Being able to grab a quick delicous breakfast before our long journey home was also great and the food offered was hot and fresh. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful.

Overall a very nice place in the suburbs of Helsinki. In theory, it's mostly a hotel for passengers staying for the night for the next flight, in practice it's a good base for escapade for a city break if you are fine with bus and train rides to the centre of Helsinki. The breakfast is excellent, with an enormous variety of foods (local, savoury, sweet - everyone can find something for themselves). Another amenity is a compulsory Finnish sauna included in the price of the room, worth trying. The service is very helpful. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the airport, they offer some flexibility when going outside scheduled hours. The neighbourhood is a residential area, a bit further there are many shopping centres. To the centre, you can take bus line no 571 and trunk line no 600. The rooms are quite modern, clean and have various basic amenities like a kettle, fridge, and hair dryer, our had even a terrace/balcony. What is worth mentioning is the very interesting design of the interior, modern but with a twist making it quite unique, kudos to the designer.

A minor drawback, but coffee at the machine served during breakfast is very watered-down, maybe in line with Scandinavian standards but generally be prepared for a less condensed drink. We got a messy and uncleaned room when we arrived, however, the staff swiftly managed to change the room for us, which satisfied us.

A great hotel near Helsinki airport with a free shuttle. The Breakfast was wonderful especially the Karelian pies! The Sauna was great! Staff was very helpful and we had lost a personal document but thankfuly the staff contacted us and we were able to retrieve it.

The Room was a little small but it was everything needed for a short stay. If exploring Helsinki the hotel is far from the center and transport options can be limited. There is a direct bus 600 a short walk away. We picked it as we also had an event to attend nearby.

Everything! Staff was friendly, hotel is clean, beds were comfy, and breakfast was great. We were able to store our luggage for a little while during the day and then catch a shuttle for our departing flight late in the afternoon. Loved having a balcony to relax on, and it was nice and quiet so we slept through the night very peacefully. Many outlets to charge devices. Room is equipped with a kettle and hair dryer. Would stay here again.

None of the chargers have a USB port, otherwise everything else was good.

Recently renovated. Nice, quiet area. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Decent restaurant on site. Would definitely stay here again (not during the summer months because of the lack of air conditioning).

There was no AC in the room but only in the common areas, which made it very difficult to sleep in the summer heat. I missed the shuttle bus both ways. From the airport to the hotel it was too full. From the hotel to the airport I missed it because I received incorrect information about the schedules from the reception. Luckily there was a public bus stop nearby.

The hotel is perfect for the ones who have early in the morning flights. The shuttle is there for them and the breakfast stars at 3.30 in the morning. The breakfast was nice. I spent there 2 nights, so I took the bus for the city center, which was easy. The staff was very helpful and polite and nice. I could buy a bus ticket from the reception, because the app for Helsinki did not work. The receptionist informed me where I could buy public transportation tickets from in the city.

The coffee was not so great. It was no shuttle at the noon, when I left for the airport. The shuttle has a specific schedule.

Hotel aligned with the stay and go hotel concept, therefore a short stay while waiting to catch a plane or after a flight as a starting point for other destinations. Excellent possibility to have breakfast very early in the morning, if I remember correctly already from 03:00-03:30. The breakfast is varied and allows good choice. The staff is very welcoming and attentive to the customer's needs.

The lack of possibility of being able to manage the air conditioning of the room independently. We found the room hot and slept with the window open. Nothing insurmountable, but could be improved
