Great property, nice rooms, excellent service

Breakfest options not level of 5 star hotel yet ( hotel was just opened)

*The hotel is so clean and luxurious *The spa is incredible *The room was massive *The beds are so comfy and you sink into it *Chocolates were left in our room to celebrate my partner's birthday *The room had an iPad/touchscreen system to play music, operate the TV and lights *The staff treated you like you were Cristiano Ronaldo!

*Using the spa comes at a separate price to the room (it costs 55 euros per person, so 110 euros extra if you are a couple) - and you can only use the spa for 1 hour and 30 minutes at a time. If hotel guests have already purchased a room, the hotel guests should have all-day access to the spa, without any pressure to leave. *The cost of the room and eating at the restaurant in the evening were both very expensive. Food portions at the restaurant were small for the price we paid. Any additional services like breakfast and using the spa came to a lot of money, so we ended up only using the spa facilities once and then checking out early to get breakfast somewhere cheaper in the morning. We worked out that this saved us hundreds in euros.

Very high standards hotel. Brand new; was inaugurated a couple months ago. I loved every aspect of it. Bulgari toiletries that added poshness to the stay. Very clean rooms. Beautiful decor all around the premises with beautiful white sculptures. Slept deeply as it was very calm. The staff at concierge, reception, restaurants, and bellboys were all so helpful & cordial. Keep up the excellent work. The sauna chamber in my room made me experience the Finnish habits. Special thanks to Mr. Sami (Concierge) who suggested a couple of places to visit & his suggestions were excellent. Thank you to Tesa, Maria Abdel Latif & all the other employees at the front desk (sorry I don’t remember all the names). Thank you to all the young bellboys who helped me with my heavy bags. Thank you to Lynh, Murat, Gitta, Anh & Salima at the restaurant for being very attentive & cheerful.

Beautiful building.

The staff seemed a bit stressed at the spa and at the breakfast. Not prepared for the guest amount? The breakfast was really good but we had to wait long for coffee, eggs, and more bacon. Thinking about the price, these things could have been better. I also think the breakfast could go on to 10:30. The spa was out of bathrobes but otherwise and busy but really nice and great treatments. The dinner was amazing! Amazing food. (Steak, lobster starter). In the room, the bed cover was a bit thick and we couldn’t get the temperature below 19, we would’ve like to have it colder. Thank you! I will come back.

This hotel checks every box of a 5-star hotel! Everything was great about it, the location, the friendly and professional staff, the morning breakfast, and the amenities. I will definitely come back again!

The sauna and steam rooms are accessible with extra hefty daily fees and the massage in the SPA was underwhelming for the price and the location.

This is not a paid advertisement - but an actual opinion. And the first time I ever take the time to write a hotel review - but for Maria I will do one. The Maria Hotel is exceptional in every single way. Having stayed in many of the best hotels in the world, I am happy to say that Maria is among the very very best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. If you are regular at the likes of Four Seasons etc, you will be extremely happy to stay at Maria. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Finland and one of the best in the world. To say that the hotel is luxurious - would be an understatement - it is stunning and so well thought - the rooms are great, the beds are amazing and the facilities, such as the spa, sauna, bar, massages and restaurants and food are all five stars. Thank you very much for the entire team, who made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the first minute upon arrival - from the smiling and pro-active bellmen to Lisa at the reception, who gave us such a warm welcome and was truly the face of Maria from the first moment. Also big thanks to Bryan, who manages the Garden Terrace restaurant, who continued to amaze us with his wonderful hospitality, world class service, guest attendance, recommendations and positive energy. The Maria Hotel just became our new home in Helsinki :) Much recommended!

We loved it

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Maria. Having stayed at a lot of hotels, this is definitely one of the top ones. We had a great room. The iPad controls for the room worked really well. We could listen to Spotify over the system. All of the staff were all very friendly and professional. We received a very good welcome. Great attention to all details. One of the best hotels in Helsinki. Great job by all the Maria team. Thank you for giving us such a great stay :-)

Loved the spa. Even at an extra cost it was worth it. The room I had was upgraded which was very nice. The gym was fantastic. The staff were all very lovely, in particular Flavio at the front desk who Introduced me to the hotel upon check in and gave me a tour, and Sanni who was always very helpful in the garden restaurant.

The breakfast was good but not the best I have had in Helsinki. I love krununhaka district but I imagine that some might prefer to stay in kluuvi or kampi if you want to stay in the heart of the city - however I prefer the quietness of Krununhaka for this type of hotel.

The Hotel Maria is exclusive, discreet, luxurious, opulent, and well appointed. Its staff are courteous and friendly. The room we stayed in (a Premier De Luxe) was comfortable and spacious. Its bar is elegant. Its outside terrace is stylish. Its spa is beautiful. Its breakfast was very good.

The Hotel Maria's prices are a bit high, but then quality rarely comes cheap.
