The hotel's location is excellent and is ideal for access to the train station and much is accessible on foot. The interior of the hotel is beautiful: from the corridors to get to the rooms to the rooms available to sit down and enjoy breakfast. The breakfast had a large selection and there was definitely something for everyone. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great, modern bathroom. The location was excellent and many attractions were accessible on foot. The staff were friendly and took the time to show us possible routes to particular points of interest.

The windows on the fourth floor didn't open, unfortunately. There are some steps to get to the hotel and didn't find a ramp for suitcases or wheelchairs if you need additional accessibility. Other than that, nothing else to dislike.

Very nice spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, with a lot of vegan and glutenfree options to choose from. Gym looked good, and you can visit the small sauna for free.

There is no way to easily get into the hotel with a heavy suitcase. You have to lift it up the stairs. (There is a combination of ramp and an elevator for disabled people you might be able to use if you call to reception maybe.) It would be nice to just have a section of the stairs be a steep ramp so you can at least wheel your suitcase up there. Right now it's not very convenient. Also they wanted us to use the check-in machines, but they were out of service so all this took unneccesarily long.

A fantastic hotel, no doubt on that. Located "inside" Helsinki's main train station (it used to be part of it) it is very accessible and easily reachable. The inside of the hotel is epic, filled with spectacular elegant corridors that makes you want to investigate every corner. The room is comfortable and elegant, with a minibar and a TV. The breakfast is astonishing, filled with plenty of warm and cold options for absolutely everyone's taste. Juices, fruits, eggs, bread, coffee, smoothies, musli, etc, it has everything. I didn't use the Sauna nor visited the bar to give an honest review about it.

Dreadful entry into the hotel. As an elderly guest I struggled with my suitcase as there is NO ramp to wheel the case inside and I had to carry it up the entry steps. There is also NO bellboy to assist with luggage.

The location is perfect for walking around the city and getting to most places and is especially convenient for travelling as it is next door the train station and bus stops. Additionally, taxis are waiting just outside the hotel - again making easy of travel convenient. The staff are friendly and warm (the hotel's best representatives), no question too simplistic or overbearing and they offer as much advice and directions as required. The hotel has a art deco style, is environmentally aware, is clean and trendy. Breakfast had varying options which was pleasing and enjoyable however, very little variations day-to-day. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel.

Maybe it was an off day but one day we found that the bathroom was not cleaned to a good standard, the bed was unfinished when making and the shower gel ran out which met it was not refilled consistently.

The staff were very friendly, rooms were spacious and well equipped as well as nicely decorated. There was a good selection at breakfast. The whole hotel had been beautifully restored and there was information available about its past and a short walking tour. The location was excellent for seeing the city. The lounge area was well used and had a chess board in high demand. The gym was well equipped and spacious with good lighting, quiet music and space for yoga etc. Free lockers were available for small bags in the left luggage area whilst suitcases could also be left.

One of our 2 rooms was a bit too warm for sleeping.

This centrally located hotel (next to the railway station) is an exciting place. It once were the headquarters of the Finnish railway and you can do a self-guided hotel tour to experience some interesting details. Our room was comfortable and abolutely clean. We slept very well. If you travel by car you can park in the EuroPark P-Eliel close by (for extra costs, of course). We'd stay here again!

The buffet breakfast was quite busy. I had asked for a travel cot for our son but hadn't realized that the hotel had never answered to my request - so there was no travel cot and in the evening it wasn't possible to get one. Fortunately the bed was so big that our son could sleep there as well. So make sure that you get an answer if you've a special request.

The breakfast buffet and Christmas Eve buffet were next level. I would have booked Scandic for all of our stays, but had no idea about how amazing the breakfasts or buffets were. The sauna, relaxation areas and gym was also spectacular. I am not sure why saunas and relaxation spaces aren't all day? The front desk staff were knowledgeable and very helpful, keeping our luggage with no problem. The location could not be easier to get to/from the airport as well as all the neighborhoods, even though Helsinki is incredibly walkable.

More games for playing in the lobby would be preferable, longer sauna / relaxation area hours, and potentially a kids 'activity kit' upon check in. We booked this hotel because it was good for families, but there wasn't anything special for kids stays.

Perfect location!!! Beautiful hotel and bedroom. Very stylish and clean. We liked staying there because we were going to the airport. The train goes stright from the hotel to inside airport :)

Breakfast was chaos, crowded and hard to navigate food and drinks in diffrent areas. Dining tables in many diffrent rooms and packed with people! Nothing special offered for breakfast. Nothing prepared for kids so I had to cut fruits myself…no apples or banana for kids. Our room was boiling hot the hole time and we got offered to move to another room but we couldnt bother because we had sattled in with a little baby already. Not possible to control the heat or cold.

Very friendly frontdesk staff but all staff members showed on proffesionel way warm welcome and happy to work there. You ll feel right a way " home" in this very nice decorated in modern scandinavic style hotel.at perfect location to explore the centre of Helsinki . Next to the centra Helsinki railwaystation. No noise of that. Breakfast was great and worth the money for hot and so many cold items in breakfast buffet .as our room was very stylish interior incl bathroom clean well decorated with extra s neccesary for international travelers business or pleasure.

Nothing in my case. I cannot mention one thing then only the pricing but that s what is commen " problem' in nothern scadinavic countries for hotels in general today especial in the bigger cities
