Good place in the city center. All you need for a small travel. Free coffe at the reception. Clean rooms and good bed

You have to know that the hotel is on the crouded pub street and it can be noisy on weekends. Also some people can find a bathroom too small.

Location of the hotel was fantastic, easy to access everything one needs. Walking around the city from the location was super easy, and lots of good transport options, restaurants, shopping, etc. nearby. The person working the front desk was very kind, and as we arrived with our dog, even sent up a dog bed and a bowl for water for him. That little extra touch was quite special! The room was light and airy, and had everything we needed. For a lower cost room in the city center, it also was much larger than expected (except for the bathroom).

The bathroom was very small and the shower curtain didn't block the water from not getting on the toilet area. But this is something 2 people can easily live with, especially with the lower price. The parking is very expensive (35 EUR) as it is in the underground shared facility nearby, but also incredibly convenient with close access.

The lift as it was 95 steps up to our room! Cleanliness. Good sized bathroom and bedroom. Windows blocked out all street sound when closed. Curtains were good at blocking out sun. Big tv. Mattaeo (sp?) was a great Receptionist and nothing was a drama and he helped us with everything we needed with a happy disposition.

The fridge was tiny and so useless as it didn't fit a normal sized wine bottle and no ice tray or anywhere to make ice. It was an unusual heatwave but with no air conditioning and the windows that couldn't be opened for any breeze to cool down it wasn't nice.

- I arrived tired from an early flight and asked the front desk if it’s possible to check-in early. He asked me to contact the hotel via WhatsApp and they will get back to me ASAP. They did indeed get back to me that I can do check-in early considering my early flight and the fact that I was tired. I truly appreciate this 🙏 one of the reason I rated this hotel 10/10 because of their kind treatment. - Excellent location! Near shopping malls, restaurants, cafe, and transportation! Really an excellent location in downtown Helsinki, everything is walking distance - I find it to be clean and comfortable - The room is equipped with boiler and cups

The location is excellent. It is close to the train station and all the major sights within a short walking distance. There are also plenty of choices for dining nearby. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room has everything one needs.

There is a weird smell (perhaps from the drain?) in the bathroom from time to time but since I didn't stay in the room all the time and the smell was confined to the bathroom, it was not that bad for a short stay. But it would be great if that could be dealt with. Other than this minor issue, everything is excellent. The bathroom was indeed clean.

Excellent location right in the city center. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. Although the building is quite old, the rooms were clean and pleasant.

It seems that air conditioning might be something to consider here as well. We stayed during quite hot weather, and it was very difficult to sleep. There are several great bars located right next to the hotel that stay open late and can be quite noisy. Closing the windows helps a lot with the noise, but in the heat, you're left choosing between struggling to sleep due to the noise or trying to rest in silence but with uncomfortable heat.

Very good stay in this practical hotel, spacy room where I could work; enough hangers and cupboard; practical bathroom with heating floor (it was snowing when I was there). Absolutely no noise. Clear instructions to check-in after reception hours. Very reliable staff at reception. Great elevator which fits enough.

A good idea to take coffee/tea (with you in your suitcase) to enjoy coffee (kettle) without leaving the room. An option only. Even if coffee machine or tea available all day at reception, during reception hours. Mattress a bit so so, could be better to help better sleep for frequent and tired traveller.

Great location, comfy beds, a bit harder than usual, TV, fast Internet, kettle in the room and 2 glasses, complimentary tea downstairs by reception, also a microwave, the self catering space is tiny but good to have it! Our room was very quiet.

Just very basic facilities, glasses instead of mugs, soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no fridge, only 1 pillow, metal furniture, very minimalistic room almost like a train wagon, not very cosy, but for the price and great central location its only minor things, we liked our stay! *there was no view but at least was very quiet!

Fourth time here, fourth time amazed. We highly appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel. It is always cleaned in details at any stay we have made in the hotel. The room is sincerely very good, the bathroom is very pleasant and well cleaned. The equipment is great. Please keep in mind that the wooden entrance furniture is only to store shoes, no bags even light one (we unfortunately broke it, sorry again - if a Hotel Finn staff read this comment, much obliged for your understanding and professionalism). Each room has it's own decoration. We noticed that the hotel uses Marimekko brand home equipment which are, out of their price, very qualitative and design and represent well Finnish style. Customers have the possibility to securely store luggage in their own lockers for free on 5th and 6th floor. The hotel also provides free coffee and tea to bring in rooms or to start the day in the middle of Helsinki. Fazer chocolate, Wasa snacks and others can be found for purchase at a very reasonable price for that kind of service. Hotel Finn is located in Kamppi district. Everything is around the hotel, you can't be more in the city center. Plenty of options to eat all around, special attention for Nanapo Sushi restaurant next to Tennispalatsi and if you have no time or if you are late, Taco Bell is literally at 20 meters from the hotel entrance and is opened from 10:00 to 05:00 in the morning.

Nothing bad, we felt a little cold even if heater was at maximum (it depends from every person so not taken into account). Didn't affect the quality of the stay =P

I had a great stay at Hotel Finn – it’s a clean, secure, and reasonably priced option right in the heart of Helsinki. The room was well-heated, which was much appreciated during the very cold weather. It’s also within walking distance of the railway station, with convenient connections to the airport every 30 minutes. The room itself was tidy and functional, with good Wi-Fi and a small desk for writing. However, the chair wasn’t particularly comfortable for longer use. The bathroom was compact and designed like a wet room. I also would’ve liked more room to place toiletries. I had booked a double bed but was given two single duvets, which slightly defeated the purpose of a double. That said, the overall experience was very positive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and free tea and coffee were available while reception was open. Given the price and location, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Helsinki.
