This hostel is in the city center ,walking distance to every where you want to visit.beds were comfortable and clean.there a small kitchen you could use if you want.

It's not easy to find this hostel ,l asked 3 people to find the hostel finally,and the lift you need code to go up to the reception ,l didn't read my E-mail before l arrive(l booked all my trips ,can't remember all of them the checking details),so ,because of no data,l was waiting in the downstairs to hope l could meet someone to tell me the code ........ And ,during the weekend ,it was toooo noisy from the bar ,until 2 or 3am.l was in room No.8

The hostel was in a convenient location both near the station and the centre of town. The self-service model worked well and it was straightforward to check ourselves in. The staff were responsive via email when I had a question. The bed was comfy enough and the room was spacious. There were enough showers and toilets so I could always find a vacant one (though I wonder if there would be enough if it was at full occupancy). I appreciated that we could use the facilities after we checked out as our flight wasn't until the evening.

The window didn't open much and it was incredibly hot and stuffy in the room so we struggled to get cool. It would have been ok if we could fully open the window to cool the room down.

Location was super convenient and really at the heart of the city. Accessibility to all locations and areas was very easy. Host responds quickly and communicates accordingly and resolves quickly some problems or challenges in our trip, especially we have a pregnant companion. Instructions to the hotel were clear and easy to understand. Room and facilities were well maintained and clean. Staff and even the cleaner was very friendly. Including other guests were also friendly. Really suitable for group accommodations.

hostel was located right in the middle of all main attractions as well as transportation. I appreciated that we got a whole room to ourselves, even though it was just two people. Communication with host was excellent even though I never met them in person. There are many restaurants at the bottom of the hostel, and we decided to eat at the Pho place twice! I had to change things up last minute for this trip, but host was pretty accommodating which I really appreciated.

The only thing was that certain bathrooms had weird odor to them.

We arrived early in the morning and are allowed to obtain one room immediately as it was available. The host/ staff welcomed us and suggested we could use all the utilities in the common room. Though the hotel just got shared washroom and toilet and it was not a big hostel with limited rooms and common area, the facilities and the bedrooms were clean and tidy. Meanwhile, it was so kind to let us store the lugguages for 2 days/night after check out on 30 Sept to Rovenimi for our check-in again on 3 Oct. And before our leaving to Rovenimi by overnight train, we are freely allowed to stay at the common room for rest. It had provided so warm hospitality.

I enjoyed the superb location. Also clean facilities were a plus. Even though this hostel locates in the city center, it was pretty quiet and peaceful to stay there, as there was no heavy traffic nearby. I didn't meet any of the staff during the stay, all was just very smoothly organized - like magic fairies :) Also, while Finland is a 'coffee-country', the hostel provided visitors with not only coffee, but also with water kettle and good tea - I really appreciate it!

No problems at all! The single bed was a bit high and narrow for me personally, but after rearranging the two beds in my room, I slept like a baby :)

I had a nice stay here. However the listing stated soundproof rooms which wasn't the case as the room next to me were partying till 3am, disturbing my sleep. I know this isn't the hosts fault but I've stayed in many places that implement a quiet time from 10pm-7am. Maybe this is something they could look into. Other than that lovley stay and nice staff.

We had a wonderful stay at MOI Aikatalo Hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostel itself was well-maintained. We especially appreciated the spacious accommodations, which were perfect for our family of 6. The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and all the major attractions. The hostel was also surprisingly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend MOI Aikatalo to families visiting the city.

Great location, super clean, staff are friendly & helpful but not in your face, 'shared bathrooms' are actually several individual toilet rooms. Follow their directions closely to find & access the place, worth it!

The only niggle, minor in my opinion: the shower rooms don't have much dry space, and just a hook - you're better off going back to your room in a towel & getting dressed there.

the location was AMAZING! quite literally in front of the train station. can be tricky to find it if you're a little slow like me hahah but it is truly amazing! very comfortable room too and super clean!

can't really find anything negative about it! great value for the money it is! if you were to stay longer tho keep in mind that there is no refrigerator in the room.
