The space in the room has all the facilities of a good hostel, beds with light, curtains, shelves and box spaces for bags. The room also had a couch, a table and some extra storage space. So great space in general. It also has an easy space to store luggage before and after the stay for free and an easy check in. I also really appreciated the tips for the city and the information on the boards. I felt I had enough ideas for my time in the city even without talking to the staff.

All good in general. I missed some more toilets, since the available toilets are busy and it's hard to have them always clean.

The hostel's location was fantastic, and the beds were incredibly comfy. I appreciated the curtains for each bed, which provided some privacy. The living area was well-designed, with a great kitchen and ample working space. Another notable perk was the option to leave my belongings in the common area even after checking out.

The price seemed quite steep for a hostel. At 70 euros per night, I expected more value for my money. Additionally, the cleanliness of the showers left much to be desired, especially considering the price paid. The services provided were also subpar, as one would anticipate that at this price point, the hostel would take care of bed-making and provide towels.

Very nice dorm rooms that feel like a comfortable lounge. The bed was very comfy and each bed has a lamp, shelves, mirror and a curtain for privacy. Basically a perfect dorm setup. Location was very central and the common area is cosy. I was also impressed that noise from the common area didn't reach the room.

The hostel is in a building surrounded by other buildings so it is quite dark. The staff aren't very talkative/friendly. At the moment there is some construction next door that woke me up at 7:30am, but that will probably be finished in a few months.

I loved this hostel! It had a super cozy feeling, everything was clean and calm. The staff I interacted with (by chat and in person) were great! Kind, patient and helpful. The location is perfect, close to everything.

Unfortunately I was sharing a room with people that left the lights on most of the night and we're quite loud until around 2am. But this can happen in any situation where you share a room, it has nothing to do with the hostel itself. (Adding this comment just in case there is someone that has never stayed in a hostel, be aware this might happen)

The staff (not here all day) was very friendly. I only interacted with the same person for my whole stay (half Finnish half Dutch girl) and she was super lovely and full of good advices. The lounge room is cozy and cute. There is a kitchen cooking area that I did not use. I got the single room (I think the only one) which has no window but I was aware of that and it was spacious enough, came with a desk and close to bathroom and toilets. The location is just perfect as you are right in the middle of Helsinki with public transports right down the street. Bathrooms were clean.

The toilets were not always clean and a smell of dry urine lingering for two days, but not really the hostel fault as you can't control people behaviour. The bed in the single room has seen better days and the mattress was really bad. No window wasn't an issue for me but if you are scared of tight places you better avoid it.

The hostel was entirely adequate. Its best "feature" is its proximity to downtown, shopping areas, the rail station, bus and tram lines, etc. The under bed storage was exceedingly spacious. Ample coffee, filters, and basic cooking supplies, eg, pots, pans, olive oil, were provided. The café up the hill from the hostel offers outdoor seating and a reasonably priced lunch menu. For a good time, go to the nearby Shot Bar 🥃. Tell Alise, the tall, thin Latvian bartender, the American from Washington DC sent you.

My room looked out over the bustling street in front of the hostel. The small footpath is a popular pedestrian thoroughfare and restaurant spot. Translation ... noise. Also, there's ongoing heavy construction 🚧 🏗️ in the adjacent lot. If the word "lärm" means anything to you, the front rooms man not be appropriate for your stay. (lärm definition: noise, din, cacophony) My only "fault" is the lighting. The common areas are painted in dark shades of gray, olive green, etc. Unfortunately, the full range of lighting was never turned on ... or no longer works, creating a sombor atmosphere. The picture provided portrays the common area in in an exceedingly favorable manner.

Upon arriving on the hostel's very lively and loud street, I was worried about the noise at night. Fortunatelly the hostel windows are facing the inner block so you can't hear a thing. The common places as well as the room felt very homey, I especially appreciate the couch and vanity table in the room - a lot of space to place your stuff. The bed was comfy and clean.

There was no AC in the room which would be much appreciated during the current heat wave. But at least there were 3 fans and we survived :D

Really good and convenient location, close to the central railway station with a few minutes walk. The staff are friendly and helpful, making checking in and out seamless. The toilets and showers are shared, but overall it is a good hostel for the star rating that it is given. If you like this kind of budget accommodation, it is a great way to meet and mix with fellow travellers and even make friends or grab one or a few travel buddies to walk around with you so that you don’t feel lonely. The place is kept clean and the yard girls do a fantastic job of maintaining the place and making you feel welcome and comfortable. Before your stay, you receive information such as codes for entering into the building and in the hostel door. I would recommend a visit to this place, but if you want good and competitive prices, you need to book well in advance. Finally, I take my hat off to the yard girls for making this place pretty exciting and lively.

At the start, it was a little tricky to get to even though it is next to the Kosmos restaurant, you need to go inside the building and at the lift, it states which level the hostel is in. Also, towels are not provided along with your stay, you need to pay for one. For most travellers, they take their own towels but for long distance travellers, like myself, there is no room to bring bath towels.

Very good location, close to center and train station. Nearby are several big shopping centers, restaurants and cafes. You can come up at to the hostel floor with an elevator. The hostel itself is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Beds are big, in a capsule style with wooden walls and curtain. Underneath is a huge locker available (you need your own lock or rent one at the reception). Showers are quite big, some of them are even as a separate bathroom. A huge lounge at the entrance with tables, couches and sofas. I believe you can also rent some house shoes if needed.

Paid towels. So either take your own or you can rent one for 3 Euro. But it's a usual case.

Can't beat the location with only 5 minutes walk from central train/bus station to the hostel - I travelled easily from Helsinki airport and went off easily to the ferry terminal via public transportation, also there are 24-hour supermarket around. Staff are nice and helpful, and I also want to point out that they organised resourceful info in folders, explaining how public transportation works / offering recommendations on tourist sights and food, which is just very thoughtful and useful. And while there are bars downstairs, the hostel was surprisingly quiet at night - just a very cosy and pleasant stay in general that I would recommend!

I think I was severely attacked by mosquitoes one night....
