Location is great. Every staff member was very professional and polite. Breakfast was amazing, a lot of variety with gluten free and vegan options. Excellent quality overall. Spacious and wide room.

The window curtain didn’t cover it entirely, letting a lot of sunlight in during the morning. Room temperature was not adjustable and it felt a little cold for us.

Location is excellent, within walking distance of everything in central Helsinki. 5 mins from the station. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A comfortable hotel in a safe area. Kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and small fridge (mini bar) in room. Fridge was big enough for us to store our own milk, yogurts etc which was useful.

The mattresses are thin and the pillows are not very supportive. Other than that, it was very good.

Very convenient location of the hotel. Nice facility, cozy and neat. As are the rooms, clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely kind and polite, available to solve every need of the customer. The breakfast offered is very varied, capable of satisfying everyone's taste. A note of credit is to be given to the attention to food waste that is reported on a blackboard every morning, indicating the amount of food taken and not consumed. Truly an important and respectful message toward waste and environmental well-being. We have stayed at this hotel twice. The second time because of a problem we encountered with another hotel, so we turned to the Scandic staff, who promptly managed to find the right solution for us by providing us with a room at the last minute. Really recommended for a pleasant stay in Helsinki.

Location is perfect - close to all the important sites and train station. Breakfast options were wide, included even chia pudding and ginger shots. Hotel was very quiet, even though our room was near elevator and facing one of the main streets. Sauna is also great and empty, so we had it for ourselves.

Sauna could be opened all mornings, not just during the weekend. On weekdays it's opened in the evening only.

The front desk and breakfast area staff are excellent. The outstanding buffet breakfast has juices, smoothies, tea, coffee, hot/cold meats, whole/sliced fruit, cereals, breads, cakes... and it is constantly replenished. The location was perfect for us as tourists, and the tram stop right at the front door takes you to the Tallink ferry terminal. Our room had a nice city lights view at night, and was clean and comfortable

Besides an opening window you have no control over cooling and it was a little too warm for us at night

The perfect location in close proximity to all the city‘s attractions, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the central train station. A very generous and tasty breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff. The lobby even has a play corner for children.

Unfortunately the black-out blinds on the windows were not very effective as they left a wide gap on both sides, so the room became flooded with bright light everyday at 5 am. The room and cupboard space were too small to accommodate three people, with hardly any free space for luggage.

Excellent location near the central station & Kamppi mall. Tram stop right in front of the hotel that gets you mostly anywhere in the city. Room was spacious, nice design. Toilet had a bidet but couldn't quite figure how to get it working. Had options for early check-ins, late checkouts at a fee.

Reception can be on the slower side at times. The master light switch extends to the bath light as well. So if the master switch is off, the bathroom lights are off regardless of whether the bathroom switch is on or off. Good luck stumbling in the dark to use the toilet in the middle of the night while trying not to wake up your partner.

We loved our room! This has a sauna in your bathroom as well as a balcony. A great location withing the city and easy to walk around to different location. Just outside of the hotel you can also catch a tram line toward the ferry dock, we took a 2-hour ferry ride over to Tallin, highly recommend! The walk from the main train station is about 8 mins, there are so many places nearby to eat and to drink and a great bottle store across from the hotel. Breakfast has a lot of options, something to suit everyone.

Nothing! It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back

We arrived earlier to Helsinki and I asked if we could make the Check-in earlier. And they said they couldn't promise as it is about availability but we were so happy that it was available so we left our luggages and went to the city. The whole attention since the beginning was great, the food during the breakfast was delicious. The room had a nice view to the city, was very quite, the beds were perfect, shower with all amenities. Everything is close from this hotel, the train station, main stores and shopping centers, the tram you can take it even in front of the hotel. Customer service worked efficiently something you appreciate when traveling. Thanks for all!

Maybe just that there weren´t pancakes during the breakfast hehe but the rest was perfect and delicious. Warm, fresh, good coffee, variety of foods, scramble eggs, veggies, bacon, salads, yogurt area, fruits, breads and pastries.

location of the hotel is very strategic, it is 5 minutes away from the central train station, also metro and buss stop is very near, only a few minutes away, as for the tramway it goes directly in front of the hotel, notable landmarks just next to it, would be chappel of silence and lasipalatsi square,

hotel did not provide any sleepers, toothpaste and other staff like that, including bath robes, which you normally expect to be there, also not many hotels have this policy but u should be ready to provide your credit card information and confirmation latter upfront for possible damages.
