Excellent modern and brand new hotel in a heritage building . The hotel is opposite Helsinki central train station . The building is connected to city center mall . Lots of cafes of wide choice are minutes away ! Shopping malls restaurants , cafes , museums , the Odi library , Helsinki cathedral and all the important major attractions are walking distance ! The food is excellent , room service for food available in the night . The hotel is going to open a a top floor bar very soon , this bar has excellent view of the city . I liked everything about the property ! The staffs are outstanding ! Check in was easy . Front desk and reception staffs Robert ,Zuhair , Erkki , Jason and Neihanna provided outstanding service in check in check out , city tour planning , restaurant recommendation and any request I made . If I visit Helsinki again this will the hotel I will choose again . Very happy with their outstanding service .

The breakfast is wonderful with huge variety and quantity. Everything is well organized and clean. The breakfast room staff are fantastic. Super attentive and available.

Bar Kupoli was a disappointment. In addition to being full, it was very noisy, making the experience unpleasant. It's not worth paying for an unpleasant experience.

Everything else. Clean, live lobby pianist, very good drinks in bar. Best hotel breakfast in Helsinki i have had. And i have been in over 10 different hotels. The interior was classy and beautiful. It would have been 10, if not these, downsides i mentioned.

Staff should speak finnish, but it was the level of not speaking, i wasn't expecting. Reception doesn't speak, bars/restoraunts doesn't. I believe it's good to provide jobs, but this was ridiculous. All the money upfront+200€ deposit. Never have i seen anything like that. It's normal for hotels to check a little sum, and if you 'forget' to pay or don't want to pay they can take it from your card anyway, but again this was ridiculous and felt really unpleasent. In superior room you don't have enough space to put your stuff. And i would prefer not to live so all my clothes are still in bags.

My room was outstanding, and I've noted the number and room type so I can request when I return! The breakfast was great for its convenience and variety - probably should've inquired about the possibility of having an omlette made by the chef in the open kitchen. Tea selection could be improved/elevated. The on-site spa and gym were marvelous; easily one of the best hotel gyms I have ever used and made it unnecessary for me to seek out the use of a fuller commercial gym.

Nothing substantive to say here. From the moment I arrived through when I left, I felt very welcomed and received the level of attention that I needed.

Beautiful old building. Great location a short walk to train station. Very large comfortable room with all amenities high quality. Great bath in bathroom. Centrally located. We walked everywhere.

Would not worry about getting a balcony as the "view" is of internal walls. Many staff were trainees the front desk and bar "service" was hit and miss. [ We were not told about booking the free access to the sauna until Day 2 of our stay, several staff in the bar did not know what wine to recommend when the one we chose was not available]. The rooftop bar is only open 4 days a week and you have to book. [Told that on Day 3 and so we missed it.] Staff need to be available to help guests with large bags negotiate the front entry steps.

My partner and I stayed at the NH Grand Hansa hotel in Helsinki for 2 nights. We arrived via train and the hotel couldn't have been in a better location. Just a 5 minute walk with our luggage. We had a very friendly welcome and first impressions of the hotel very good. Hotel room was lovely. Absolutely immaculate and a lovely relaxed colour palate. Breakfast was superb. The choice so diverse with lots of local dishes and great service too. We used the sauna area which was lovely and run with military precision by the spa staff. Overall, a really great luxury hotel in the heart of Helsinki which we would recommend to others.

I stayed overnight during a layover in Helsinki. The hotel is very centrally located within a 5 minute walk of the main train station which provides direct airport access. The hotel is also within easy walking access to shopping, top-end dining, island ferries, and cocktail bars. The hotel decor and facilities are nice. The room size was large. I appreciated the in-room features such as the plentiful outlets including USB-C, the Nespresso machine, and the complimentary large bottle of water. Staff at the front desk were helpful, professional, and provided efficient service for check in and check out.

I would like the bathroom to have better lighting that is face-on rather than overhead since the bathroom is very dark. Service at the bar was slow. The solitary waiter was overwhelmed, so I ended up leaving before he ever came back to take my drink order. Meanwhile, the bartender was casually chatting with one or two patrons rather than helping to ensure all customers were being served.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Helsinki! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city center, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and offer all the comfort you need. A huge thank you to the reception team, especially Simo and Zouhair, for their kindness and professionalism. Their warm welcome and helpfulness truly made our stay unforgettable. The varied and delicious breakfast, along with the modern facilities, perfectly complemented the experience. This is the ideal place for a successful stay in Helsinki. We will definitely be back!

High class over-night stay right at the city center. Everything was new, stylish and impeccably clean. The room was in good size, excellent bed and a lot of pillows to choose from. Only tiny con was that there were no shoehorn in the room. The staff was professional, though at times a tid bit formal at the check-in. Very friendly and helpful staff at a breakfast area. Be aware that the staff is mostly english spoken, so you'll get smoothest experience if you can speak it. The beakfast was overall very high quality made from fresh ingredients. I didn't visit the restaurant or spa area, so I can't say anything about them. The location is very centric, but the hotel being so new, not all taxi drivers knew the place and it has a bit challenging short time parking situation right at the front entrance. Overall I found my staying lovely, effortless and definitely meeting the standards of 5* with very reasonable price.

The hotel is beautiful. A very helpful and kind staff. My request for a quiet room was not overlooked, i so appreciated that. Beautiful, clean, big room that looked precisely like the pictures. Extremely kind and helpful service. I had a great stay.

Well there was one thing that could be a potential problem for some tourist. During my check in I was charged a deposit of 172€. I was not told this little detail ahead of my trip this in any of the email i received from the hotel or booking.com. What surprised me even more was that the personal at the desk told me i will be changed 100€ and that was not true, it was 172€. It made me relatively angry. Also my deposit was not returned after my check out nor was it returned in the 5 promised days. It was 12 days. For me it was not that big of an issue but for some tourist it perhaps might be?
