Very welcoming, friendly reception staff, great breakfast, large, comfortable rooms

New Years Eve dinner in the restaurant was a 2 hour wait, totally unacceptable, it was overbooked and understaffed. Bathroom needed a refresh, air conditioning too hot at night, unable to turn lower than 20 degrees

Good location (close to the Central Station). Kind and genuinely friendly stuff. Comfortable room (we were on the 5th floor), excellent beds and to our pleasant surprise one nice and comfy sofa. Decent bathroom with amenities of a good quality. Quick and silent elevators. Nice gym and sauna. Royal breakfast - in choice, presentation and service.

Windows can not open, you have to do it with the air-co all the time. But thermostat is set standard on 24’C and does not go under 22’C. Especially for the night, it was too warm. Our visit was in March, days were dry, mostly sunny and not so cold. We are climate-minded travellers. Some fresh air and chance to regulate warming a little bit more, would do it.

The room was a lot more spacious than the average hotel room in Finland and everything was clean. They have a guest sauna that is open in the mornings and evenings as well as a small fitness room with very basic equipment in it. The location is central and within a walking distance of the main shops and supermarkets etc. and the trams, buses and trains are very easily accessible from the hotel.

The check-in process was quite slow especially when there is only one person working at the reception. The fitness room could also have a bit more variety in terms of equipment for the guests who like to use the facilities. It was also a mild inconvenience to have to pick up a separate key card for the women’s sauna whereas there was no need for the men’s sauna.

From the moment we walked into Radisson Blu after a very long flight from Australia we were made to feel special, staff were welcoming both at checkin & breakfast room. As I am Coeliac (GF) they were able to make me feel at ease & explained what was GF. Location was excellent seeing we travelled by train from airport plus the local bus. All services were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member, room was excellent re comfort & cleanliness. Information from staff was spot on re how to get to various places & what to visit.

The location, close to the central station, 5 minute walk from the chatedral. The breakfast buffet! Top! Variety, quality, quantity. A corner dedicated to gluten free. The room, quite confortable, even if a little uptodated!

The 2 staff women at the reception. They are not rude but I would never say kind. The wrong emplyee at the wrong place A pity because the breakfast staff are kind! I The fake complimentary water in the room! Big in red COMPLIMENTARY, very tiny "for members". You discover when they ask you to pay the Free Water at the check out.

- Fantastic location. Right next to the main train station, close to the city attractions. Also, easily reachable by tram from the international ferry port. Additionally, the port with the city ferries to the Suomenlinna island was also close and easy to reach on foot. - Breakfast was fantastic, many different options and very tasty. - There was a sauna available for guests - small one, but still nice to have.

Small stuff so not critical, but nevertheless: - The drain near the bathtub was leaking water, so the floor was wet quite often - Very confusing system of light switches, for our whole stay we couldn't figure out which switch handles which lamp - The headboard of the bed was covered with soft material, top layer of which was slightly peeling off. Not dirty, not impacting the stay, but just added to a certain impression of shoddiness - Long waiting times at the frontdesk. The staff were very nice though.

Really great breakfast; wide range of choice and caters to vegan/veggie diets as well. Very central location by Helsinki train station. Room was a comfortable size and beds very comfortable. Hotel bistro is very good and convenient if you arrive late at night.

The central heating means the room ends up being quite dry so it affected my skin, but Helsinki in winter/spring is also really dry so do bear that in mind. Gym was appreciated but a bit dated -- some of the equipment was missing or needed replacing. Lighting in bathroom quite harsh.

I loved the location its right around the corner from the trainstation and busstation. Everything else is near to go by foot. Food Spots are also right at the street. The bed was very comfortable. Sadly i didnt know the room with the Sauna has not much light (window very small) and no view. The Sauna was good.

For the money ive paid i expected a cleaner Bathroom / Shower was hmmm okay and i had the Room with Sauna. Sadly that is my only Downside of the Room the Bed was very comfy and also the Lightning was calm you can regulate on your own.

The location is great, there’s about 1-2 minutes to main railway station (so it’s great if you go to Helsinki by plane) and also from the bus and tram stops. We went to Helsinki by ferry and it was direct tram as well from the Katajanoka Terminal. But actually you can go from the hotel by foot to the main attractions of the city (Uspenski Catedral, Ateneum, Helsinki Catedral, Oodi Library, Old Market, etc). Everything is pretty close. Our room was comfortable and tidy. Really great option for the stay in Helsinki.

We booked executive business room with sauna and lounge access. Location of the hotel is amazing, 5 min walking distance from Central train station and right on the main square. Room is spacious and having private sauna was very convenient. Staff is very friendly, especially Paprika, always smiling, approachable, and helpful. Hotel offered free of charge storage room facility on the check out day.

Breakfast choices were the same for 3 days of our stay. Lounge was closed for one of the nights for private event so snacks and drinks were offered in improvised area behind the reception with limited choices. Early check in price is 50EUR.
