Centrally located at the heart of Helsinki City Centre. Very welcoming front desk staff throughout my 6 nights stay. A Very clean, bright and well lighted room with large windows. Best Bed with crisp linens , duvet and the choices of Pillows from the firm to soft. The Breakfast had a Large variety of choices from vegetables , fruits, breads etc and warm items as well. Also a gluten free and vegan choices deserve mentioning. Well done.

What is there Not to like. I have no complaints.

Really loved this hotel. It was clean, spacious, in a great location and there was a rather fancy, a bit old-fashioned vibe there. I upgraded my room and there were 2 non-alcoholic drinks included per day, and the room came with a Nespresso machine. The staff were helpful and polite. I also really liked the American Cocktail Bar downstairs. The breakfast was good. I recommend going down for breakfast at 7.30 when it starts, it was nice and quiet then, but got busier at 8.

The only trouble was with my bathroom light: sometimes it went on automatically but other times I had to push all of the buttons several times to get the lights to come on. And sometimes they turned off on their own when I was in the bathroom. Never quite got the hang of the logic. The overhead lighting in the bathroom was also quite harsh, it was impossible to do your makeup there, but luckily there was another mirror in the bedroom. I was also a bit sad that the breakfast didn't include English breakfast. But it was good otherwise.

The room is a good size (I was upgraded). The breakfast is good, and the restaurant has a pleasant ambience. The staff are cheerful, providing a good start to the day.

The cobblestone streets from the railway station to the hotel can be challenging, though not all of them; some are smooth enough for luggage. However, I found that I could avoid some of the cobblestones by passing through Forum Fest, a shopping mall. The entrance to the mall is located at the right-hand corner of the hotel front. Once inside the mall, you will need to take two escalators down to the ground floor.

The Torni Hotel is very centrally located and has a gorgeous view over the city from the rooftop bar. The hotel is well maintained, and my room was exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety of delicious foods. There is also a cocktail bar and restaurant on site.

I really don't have any complaints or dislikes. This was a perfect stay. If I absolutely must think of something I didn't like, it was that occasionally I had to wait for the elevator. But that can happen anywhere. Great hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this landmark hotel. The staff was always proactively helping me to make my stay even more memorable, giving me tips. The breakfast has a great choice of food, even a whole table for vegan options. The view is amazing. You can breathe the history in every single corridor. The hotel is in Kamppi, just a few minutes walk from the main railway station and the streets of fashion. From there, you can take many public transport to other part of the city (or of the country). It is not the cheapest hotel in helsinki, but definitely worth every single cent! I am looking forward to visiting Sokos Torni Hotel!

Unfortunately my stay was too short!

Location is very center - can reach to all the stations (bus, train, tram, and subway) within in few minutes. Shopping districts are very close - Stockmann Department is situated within in 2 minutes walk, and Design District is just 1-2 blocks away. Room is enough big in the comfortable mixture of elegant & modern design, and having a super clean washing rooms. Breakfast is very good, and all the hotel staffs are very nice.

The room door is a little bit loose & I needed to check everytime if it is automatically closed & locked -- and every time it opened still.

First of all, the Hotel Concierge welcome and help throughout our stay was second-to-none! (Unfortunately we didn't catch her name but she had auburn hair and we checked in the afternoon of the 2nd May), she always greeted every guest with a professional but warm, genuine smile and offered suggestions of places and restaurants to visit to make the most of our stay. The hotel has a fabulous decor including an 'old-school' lift in adjacent to modern lifts, and 1920's tunes playing but within a trendy, modern setting. Breakfast is exceptional! Such great value for money, and they are catering for all i.e., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free. The location is perfect, everything is on it's doorstep. Our hotel room was spacious and clean, with heart-warming additional touches made for celebrating my birthday. The rooftop bar is a massive attraction, and it was even pointed out in the local free walking tour to experience! We loved having such easy access to soak-up the views of Helsinki at this bar in the evening whilst sipping champagne and nibbling on crisps. We were made aware of the fabulous additional facilities of a Irish Bar, American Bar, and Spa but unfortunately we were not visiting long enough to experience these and comment.

Although 3 different sizes of pillows are offered in the room, my Husband still found them all too soft and would have liked a firmer pillow. Room service felt particularly pricey (almost the same, if not more, than eating out). Getting up to the rooftop bar could take a long time via the lifts due to them being open to public and resident access. We decided it would be quicker to walk up the stairs but this was from floor 3 to 12 + a tight (can only be one-way) spiral staircase!

Room was spacious, comfortable beds, good bathroom, little noisy at weekends but to be expected in a city centre, amazing breakfast choice

A tiny bit more storage would have been good in such a large room - I was sad to see the O Malleys Irish Bar has been cut in half, still a good bar but much smaller now, also there was no option to eat at the hotel for dinner.

Check in was very easy. We were able to check in a bit earlier so that helped us with our bag situation. We also appreciated the assistance with getting our luggage up the stairs and then to our room. We also loved our room with a view over the city, and really enjoyed the rooftop bar in the evening. It was such a beautiful place to relax and take the views of the entire city. We also really liked that even though it was a bit further away from the esplanadi, there were lots of restaurants, and shopping that was a short walk away and open late. We caught a #4 tram just down the road which took us to everything.

I feel that while the food was very nice for breakfast, there were not as many options as we'd experienced at another hotel when we arrived in Helsinki. We felt that it was not as authentic in regard to Finnish food and was more American.

Service on the front desk was exceptional. The location was ideal for the city centre and train station. Bedding was super comfortable and room facilities were great. All clean and lovely decor. Also, there's an amazing view of the city from the bar.

Room was smaller than anticipated. Not the easiest of hallways to navigate with luggage - depends on which part of the hotel you stay in.
