Centrally located at the heart of Helsinki City Centre. Very welcoming front desk staff throughout my 6 nights stay. A Very clean, bright and well lighted room with large windows. Best Bed with crisp linens , duvet and the choices of Pillows from the firm to soft. The Breakfast had a Large variety of choices from vegetables , fruits, breads etc and warm items as well. Also a gluten free and vegan choices deserve mentioning. Well done.

What is there Not to like. I have no complaints.

The rooms were excellent. They had comfortable beds, choice of pillows and tea, coffee and hot chocolate available to make in the room. Plenty of shelf space in the bathroom and space for clothes. Iron and ironing board in room too. Quick lift. Location for visiting main sites was also great. The staff were all friendly and helpful, without exception. This includes those at front desk, waiting at breakfast table, kitchen staff and cleaner. Special mention to Anna who was so attentive to us when checking in.

Front side is light which is great, downside is noise from local bar at weekend and the unloading of deliveries around 5am. Could benefit from a couple more coat hangers even though there were at least 6.

Really loved this hotel. It was clean, spacious, in a great location and there was a rather fancy, a bit old-fashioned vibe there. I upgraded my room and there were 2 non-alcoholic drinks included per day, and the room came with a Nespresso machine. The staff were helpful and polite. I also really liked the American Cocktail Bar downstairs. The breakfast was good. I recommend going down for breakfast at 7.30 when it starts, it was nice and quiet then, but got busier at 8.

The only trouble was with my bathroom light: sometimes it went on automatically but other times I had to push all of the buttons several times to get the lights to come on. And sometimes they turned off on their own when I was in the bathroom. Never quite got the hang of the logic. The overhead lighting in the bathroom was also quite harsh, it was impossible to do your makeup there, but luckily there was another mirror in the bedroom. I was also a bit sad that the breakfast didn't include English breakfast. But it was good otherwise.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade from the staff, which made celebrating one of our special memories together truly unforgettable. The upgraded room was spacious, peaceful, and perfectly clean, allowing us to relax completely. The breakfast was exceptional and offered everything we could possibly wish for. The staff were extremely attentive, kind, and always accommodating to our requests. The hotel itself has many charming features, including a well‑equipped gym, a serene internal garden, and a rooftop where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets while sharing a drink together. The entire atmosphere of the hotel exudes comfort and elegance

There was nothing major to dislike; perhaps the elevators can get busy at peak hours, but this is minor compared to the overall experience

The room we had for ourselves and a young adult granddaughter were perfect, a king suite with the most luxurious sofa bed we’ve ever seen. Large rooms with lots of room. We had modest luggage and a folding wheelchair and it was perfect. Blackout curtains very effective. The breakfast was sumptuous with a wide variety of excellent options. The staff was wonderful. The location excellent for exploring Helsinki and shopping. Would highly recommend.

The only shortcoming was the in-house restaurant was not available for other than breakfast. I understand it is supposed to reopen in the fall for general service. There were many options for lunch and dinner with several short blocks.

The room was nicely appointed. The bed super comfy. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods. It was in a pretty good location, fairly central but had to walk uphill to get there. Staff were attentive and helpful.

It was a little hard to find the front entrance. We stayed there on a weekend when there was a soccer game and there were hundreds of very drunk male supporters spilling out of the pub across the road and staying at the hotel. It felt very volatile walking to the hotel and we had a very uncomfortable experience in the lift. I am not sure the hotel can do anything about that but it would be worth checking there is no soccer on when you stay there.

The room is a good size (I was upgraded). The breakfast is good, and the restaurant has a pleasant ambience. The staff are cheerful, providing a good start to the day.

The cobblestone streets from the railway station to the hotel can be challenging, though not all of them; some are smooth enough for luggage. However, I found that I could avoid some of the cobblestones by passing through Forum Fest, a shopping mall. The entrance to the mall is located at the right-hand corner of the hotel front. Once inside the mall, you will need to take two escalators down to the ground floor.

Location is great. Near train station and sights. Right off a main street but still felt a bit quieter. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was extensive and lovely. A packed breakfast was provided for early departure. The hotel is historic, the rooms not huge but stylish and comfortable, and the restaurant was very good.

I wasn't aware until arrival that unlike some of the other good hotels in the city, there was no sauna in this hotel - only a steam sauna at the neighboring spa that came with additional charge.

The Torni Hotel is very centrally located and has a gorgeous view over the city from the rooftop bar. The hotel is well maintained, and my room was exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety of delicious foods. There is also a cocktail bar and restaurant on site.

I really don't have any complaints or dislikes. This was a perfect stay. If I absolutely must think of something I didn't like, it was that occasionally I had to wait for the elevator. But that can happen anywhere. Great hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in this landmark hotel. The staff was always proactively helping me to make my stay even more memorable, giving me tips. The breakfast has a great choice of food, even a whole table for vegan options. The view is amazing. You can breathe the history in every single corridor. The hotel is in Kamppi, just a few minutes walk from the main railway station and the streets of fashion. From there, you can take many public transport to other part of the city (or of the country). It is not the cheapest hotel in helsinki, but definitely worth every single cent! I am looking forward to visiting Sokos Torni Hotel!
