Location is excellent! Very close to the center (like 10-15 min walk), but not in the middle of the busy central area, which is perfect. The transportation is just 1-3 minute walk and has all the necessary public transportation needed for the main attractions and to go to the center, shopping area etc. The breakfast is very good, a-la carte options of omelets, and a choice of coffees. Rooms is excellent, spacious, but comfy and cozy, modern and quite new, in good condition. The shower has proper water pressure and different temperatures. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable for women. Coffee, teas, slippers, bathrobe, iron board, and iron - rooms have all the necessities for a comfortable stay! Staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming, polite, and helpful!

Wi-fi is very slow and has a very bad connection

Very well placed to be used as a base for exploring the city or doing other businesses in the city center. A lot of places to eat and drink in immediate vicinity, even some places still having the kitchen open close to midnight. Just a 10 minutes light stroll away from the Kauppatori piers with connection to Suomenlinna and Vallisaari islands. Excellent breakfast with diverse choices. Conveniently connected to the airport combining one train to/from central railway station and one tramway (6T) with effective walk in between of max 150m.

I stayed here a few nights on arrival in Finland. As my flight arrived extremely early in the morning, I was able to get into my room from about 8am (though I did need to pay extra for that). The room and facilities were comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The breakfast buffet was generous, tasty and extensive; you don't really need any of the items from the menu in addition, as there's already so much in the buffet! (Though you can do so, if your breakfast is included in the room price, and there are delicious choices available on the menu). The bathroom was large and well-lit. You are on the tram line into the centre of the city which is just a short trip, and there are also buses to the metro or to other tourist attractions. You can also buy the Helsinki Card at the hotel, giving you entry into most museums and attractions, plus free public transport.

If you're near the lifts, you may hear people coming and going in the hallways, and room doors banging. But it's just a small criticism.

I loved the decor of the hotel, the cleanliness and the location. The location was better than I thought it would be. Beautiful street, close to everything. The comfort was enjoyable in my amazingly clean and bright designer room, I felt really good and it was hard to leave. I loved sitting in the comfy, huge lounge chair sipping coffee. I got to pick the room I wanted, with a view over Bulevardi. The windows are well soundproofed. Reception staff was amazing and nice. A special thank you to Barbara, the cleaning lady who was always smiling and nice. I would stay there again.

The ladies' slots for the sauna were only 2 hrs per day, I guess due to renovation, which I did not know about beforehand when I booked the hotel. For my part, 8 am (on weekends) is way too early in the morning when you are on a holiday, and 5 pm (weekdays) is the time when you are still out exploring the city. So that's why I missed the sauna and I was disappointed.

We had a great time staying in the hotel Indigo. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern style. Staff was really helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early which really made it easy for us just to head out to explore Helsinki. We absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom with roomy shower. We started our day with their breakfast of great variety. They offer a buffet and also ordered warm breakfast from a menu, so you'll be sure to find something you'll like. The breakfast was available until 11 am and late checkout at 12 suited us perfectly. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and hence we're happy to leave an honest high rate review for the hotel. Looking forward to stay here again!

During my recent travels and stays at many different hotels, this was my favorite. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We had no problems whatsoever and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. In addition, we felt the location was very good as we were able to walk to many different sites, restaurants, etc.

Our first morning we missed the included breakfast by 10 minutes. Totally our fault but it would have been nice if we could have just grabbed a croissant or something. Fortunately there was a wonderful bakery across the street. I can't think of any negatives and as I said earlier, this was our favorite hotel of our recent travels.

We got an extraordinary good price incl breakfast (est 120 Euros/night), the location was perfect for both walking and using the tram to the city center and various museums and sights, good breakfast, spacy rooms, all personell servicemindet and cosy cafes near by. Would I be back? Definitely!

When asking for taxi to the airport (fixed price in Helsinki of 35 Euros) they could have told us upfront, that the 'taxi' which was ready was their own hotel car at 45 Euros. Extra price is normal for such car service - but we were not aware until the mercedes was holding out side.

- Bed was good. - Bath (amme) was nice. - In the hotel, there was Cocktail bar, but unfortunately we did not have time to test it. - Coffee was good. - Wifi connection was good.

- Breakfast had some portion to choose at and buffet, buffet selection was somehow small. Breakfast little bit was disappointment. To us it was included to price, but if you buy it is not worth of 32 euros.

Staff were wonderful especially Antonetta. Superior twin room was huge, large very comfortable beds, large walk in shower.

Could not adjust aircon at all and windows didn’t open so it was generally a few degrees too hot in the room all the time.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It is in a wonderful, easily walkable neighborhood and close to many bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was clean and much larger than most rooms in Europe. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us. They even knew that our plane left very early and made to-go breakfast bags for us. Whoever is in charge of hiring their front desk staff is doing a great job! We will definitely chose this hotel again when we return to Helsinki.
