Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. This time not all perfect. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. The sauna taking 40 minutes to heat feels a bit too much. Clean room, nice bed – if you like a very hard bed – with two different sizes of pillows. Excellent sound proofing in rooms. Details well-thought out in the room, e.g. ability to adjust lightning from one switch with 4 different settings or hearing tv in the bathroom. Totally overpriced water and soft-drinks at 6,5 eur / bottle and the bathrobes not soft and comfortable at all, but perhaps tailormade to suit the Lapland theme. Authentic reindeer fur everywhere, not for people with allergies. Dogs allowed widely in the hotel which may be positive to some and not to others. Parking places for e-cars – good. Perfect location. But even with all the positives, this luxory category room was just a room and the breakfast was just a breakfast. Big variety of glutein free products in the breakfast, but then again waiting for an omelette for 20 minutes is way too long time. No hot chocolate which I personally found irritating and some social media gurus were allowed to film during the busiest time of the breakfast, obstructing the flow in the small breakfast area. Sunday brunch until 2 pm, again very positive and the lingonberry porrage was well-made. So yes, very good ideas and execution, but was suprised to see that there is some variation in the service quality and execution depending on the city.

What an amazing hotel to stay at, surrounded by beautiful scenery and everything you might need close by. My friend and I stayed for one night and we both truly enjoyed the atmosphere. The interior was stunning and the room itself was perfect - the bed was super comfortable and I had the best sleep in a long time. In the evening we enjoyed delicious cocktails at the bar. I even asked for a drink from the summer menu, even though the autumn menu was already in place, and they kindly made it for me! In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast. The quality was superb, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really hope to come back here many times!

Across the world, there are luxurious hotels, cosy hotels, and friendly & welcoming hotels. But it’s rare to find one like this, that manages to be all three. And so pet friendly, too! The restaurant is excellent, and if your budget runs to it (they are quite expensive), the surprise multi-course meals with matching wines are outstanding, especially as almost every ingredient is Lapland sourced. The wine guy at the hotel is a true expert. Lots of people recommend paying extra for a room with a sauna - and having had a room sauna elsewhere (not here), I’m sure that it’s great to have. But it’s also worth noting that the hotel has pretty decent separate male and female saunas in the basement, available 6-10pm, and with over 100 in-room saunas I always had the hotel sauna entirely to myself.

The breakfast was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Amazing options and super fresh and delicious. The bar was a welcome place to have a cocktail, with a small but fabulous bar menu available as well. I recommend booking the restaurant as it is very popular. The superb staff were so helpful and even after arriving in Helsinki on the first flight of the day, arrived at hotel at around 0630 and still we were checked in straight away. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

There was really nothing I could complain about

The hotel is beautiful, and the room was thoughtfully designed: modern yet cozy, and spotlessly clean. We especially appreciated the spacious bathroom and the fact that you could actually open a window in the room. The location was also very convenient; central, in a nice neighborhood, and within easy reach of everything. Breakfast was one of the most generous I’ve experienced at hotels in Europe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of vegan options.

Nothing really, I was very happy with my stay and will choose it again.

The hotel is small but fully equipped, incredibly charming, and cozy. It is located just a 5-10 minute walk from the actual city center. There’s a fantastic bar and restaurant in the lobby, and enjoying a drink by the floor-to-ceiling windows on a cold winter day was an amazing experience. The breakfast selection was also abundant and varied. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and always willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose it again for my next stay, even though its space is not as large as some bigger hotels.

Beautiful Finnish styled hotel. Stunning suites with huge private sauna ! So clean and fun to have in your own room. Beds very comfortable and spacious room size. Lovely view over the roof tops and to watch the snow falling. Breakfast was amazing . Staff so friendly. Tram stop just outside. Bulevardi is a wonderful vibrant street and full of nice restaurants - Le Coucou Vert is absolutely incredible !!! (30m away) Easy walk to everywhere if you want. We enjoyed the comfortable strolls around to the harbour and into the city .

Nothing to dislike

Property was well located and walking distance to Christmas Markets, shopping and dining. Breakfast was amazing, with options for everyone - even picky eaters. Staff were awesome and room was spacious, well set out and facilities were great! Wish we had more time here at Lapland Hotel Bulevardi. Lighting is also next level, with sunrise, day, sunset and night modes!

The only negative (if you could find one) was the limited mini bar options. We had travelled from Singapore, so had 3am munchies on night one, and only chocolate and potato chips to eat.

I recently visited Helsinki and decided for Lapland Hotels Bulevardi, and it was an unforgettable experience! A cozy room in beautiful Nordic-style decor, very comfortable bed.. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious and fresh options each morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions. The highlight of my stay was definitely the private sauna in the room – a truly unique and relaxing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Helsinki! I will use the services of this hotel again on my next visit.
