Excellent location in Töölö - beautiful parks and lakes and bays all around, about 15 minutes to walk (or a couple of tram stops) to the city centre. The price was more reasonable than other options in the terribly expensive Helsinki. I suppose I did not utilize all the facilities of the hotel, didn't even have breakfast, preferring coffee shops and bakeries in the area as more cost-effective. The room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a desk with a chair, an armchair, a spacious closet with a safe and a minibar (mineral water bottles and little chocolates are free and replenished every day), bathrobe and slippers, the works. Even a view at the large park nearby and the cathedral in the distance thrown in for free.

The bathroom is generally very well equipped with ample toiletries and good lighting, but the (small) bath has a too short fixed glass screen and the water flows from the shower head regardless of the position of the selector. Not a big deal. To go up in the elevator you need to press your keycard to the reader for quite a while before pressing the button for the desired floor. It works, and isn't really a problem, but feels a little weird.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Greta at reception for her warm and professional service. I appreciated the possibility for an early check-in and felt very welcome from the start. The room was clean, calm and modern, with large windows and a beautiful city view. I liked the mix of retro and modern design, especially the humorous touch with the old phone and hair dryer (a modern one was also provided). The bathtub was also spacious and bed was comfortable.

Nothing major to mention. The retro elements might not be for everyone, but I found them charming and intentional.

The hotel is cosy, beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are big and there is plenty of room to walk around there also. Athmosphere/mood in the room is very cosy. The hotel also has sauna and spa facilities and a swimming pool. And, what I really liked (even though I didn't travel with a pet), the hotel is pet friendly! And of course, the hotel service was impeccably polite and friendly as always!

Two things that could have been solved if I had turned to the reception but I stayed only for 2 nights. Firstly, the weather had turned colder and inside the room it was slightly cold also. I tried to turn up the tempreture on the conditioning device but it didn’t work. And secondly, for some reason the water in the bathroom was smelling really badly (maybe it was clogged or something).

Staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. Junior suite was spacious and good facilities. I liked the complimentary coffee, bottles of water and sweets. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with great range of items and made to order waffles and omelette. Great location to the city, easy access to the tram. I liked the proximity to the local K market store for getting snacks and water. The suite offered use of the lounge, this was excellent with happy hour offering some wine, beers and nibbles. The pool was great with clean and spacious facilities. Room was quiet and had air conditioning and openable window. Bath tub was big with good overhead shower. We liked the body wash and moisturiser. Overall excellent.

Stunning swimming pool and sauna. Junior suite access to lounge with free snacks and drinks, incl. alcohol. Friendly stuff. All clean. Really nice junior suite with a bath tub. Location a bit of a distance, as stupid, arrogant Helsinki trams don't accept credit cards and threw my family out to walk, even traveling with a small kid with lot of bags to carry. Tried to order a taxi, that went to a wrong address. Other taxi tried to scam with a price, so we walked. If Helsinki taxi's still would be reliable as they used to be and/or Helsinki trams available also for the tourists' usage, this hotel would be just perfect.

Everything was good

We enjoyed our stay. The suite room was large enough for our family of four. Comfortable bathroom with a bath and not just a shower. The staff at the reception and the restaurant were very responsive and helpful. The included breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. Our suite allowed us free access to the business lounge, although we barely used that option, due to our schedule. A number of good cafes and restaurants nearby, providing lots of options for lunch and dinner, if needed.

- When we initially checked in, the room was not very clean: some used tissues on the floor near the bed, a lot of dust/dirt on the bed backboard, the closet and the bathroom rails. - Sticky floor from a spilled drink near the elevator was not cleaned for the entire day, until we mentioned it to the reception staff. The cleanliness issues may be due to hotel being understaffed. - One more small annoyance: after every daily room cleaning, we were left with only three fresh towels, for our family of four. This was promptly resolved after contacting the reception, but having to do that every time was annoying. They could have done a better job instructing their cleaning staff. This is a 4 star hotel, after all.

The location was great. Lovely part of the city and close to the Oodi Library and train station. The hotel was nice and clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was excellent. The pool was an added bonus and much appreciated by my young daughter.

There were wine glasses in the room that we could not use as they were dirty, and despite leaving them out to be changed, they weren't. Not really a big issue, however.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Helsinki, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience. I was particularly impressed with the early check-in accommodation, which was much appreciated after a long journey. The front desk team was incredibly welcoming, making me feel valued from the start. My room was immaculate, spacious, and offered a lovely view of the city, providing the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The hotel's amenities are top-notch, with a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing spa that allowed me to unwind after a busy day. Breakfast each morning was a delight, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Location-wise, the Crowne Plaza is ideal—close to major attractions and public transportation, yet peaceful and quiet for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, my experience at the Crowne Plaza Helsinki was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and I look forward to staying here again on my next trip!

The hotel was overall incredible. I've visited multiple 'four-star' hotels in Helsinki and this is by far the best one. Breakfast was delcicious, staff was kind and the beds were marvelous. Pool and gym is a nice touch, however some equipment was a bit outdated, still miles ahead of other hotels though.

I believe the building isn't exactly brand new, so from the outside it may look a bit outdated.

Clean, large room and exceptional breakfast options. Great central location. Friendly staff.

Swimming pool water was unbearably cold, absolutely awful. We were also given a very clear timetable when checked in but were kicked out of the pool one morning because an aqua fit class was about to start but this was not detailed anywhere on the information we had been provided. Was a waste of time going down with the kids to be told to leave after 15 mins. Much better communication is needed in this regard.
