Töölö Towers is situated just outside the central Helsinki but within walkable distance to the City center. There are good public transport connections to many parts of the city. My little room was lovely and bed comfortable. Breakfast was variable and had enough choices for all diets. There was a communal kitchen on the floor for doing your own cooking if wanted to. I had a little fridge in my room which was good for my snacks and drinks. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of dust under the bed (I dropped something and had to move the bed) though otherwise the room was clean.

Located in a good area on ~25 mins walk or ~ 5 mins by tram from Helsinki Railway Station. The tram stop is just on the street in front of the buildings. Easy late-self-check-in after midnight. The instructions I got were clear and punctual. The room itself was ok, with perfect Wi-Fi and heating system. Polite reception desk. Breakfast is basic but offers quality products. Free sauna. A leisure area with some decent view on the top floor.

I believe, the housekeeping staff might be more thorough in the cleaning process of the rooms.

Stayed with my parents and this worked out to be much nicer than two separate hotel rooms (we had an apartment with two bedrooms). We were able to share the living room and kitchen etc which was lovely. Very close to a tram stop and a well stocked supermarket as well as the sea (and a beach!). Yes it’s no frills, but that is reflected in the price. Place has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked. Breakfast was brilliant and fills you up for the morning.

It isn’t bang in the centre and it is no frills. We did not mind but reading some other reviews it appears people did not take note.

I booked twice at Töölö, first a room for myself and then a an apartment to share with my partner who arrived later. Early check-in was possible both times, and this was super helpful as I could seamlessly transfer from the small room to the new room. The bed was comfortable, lots of storage and a kitchenette with what you need. Unlike the small single-bed room I first had, this one was not stuffy and felt well ventilated. Didn't use the Sauna in this tower (B tower) but went to take a look. You walk briefly through a super well-lit basement-area to get to some nice seating with a high window and then to the saunas, so there's light and it's quite airy for something in a "basement". They are much bigger than the saunas in the A tower, you could easily fit 15+ people in the sauna.

The heating stopped working in the sofa-kitchenette room, but that was ok, the heater in our room sufficed. The heating-element dryer thing in the bathroom didn't work, but that wasn't crucial The layout of the storage was a bit odd, compared to the single-room.

It is a great place to stay for those who do not require anything fancy, just a clean and safe space to sleep and keep their belongings during their stay in Helsinki. I traveled to Helsinki with a clear plan to see as much as the city as possible, so I would leave the hotel in the morning and only return at night. It was so great to have the hotel so close to the city center and with such an easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was rather standard, but tasty and had quite a bit of variety.

There was, at times, some sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

The room was tiny but it had all the necessary utilities + some. The reception was really nice and helpful. The breakfast offers a "swedish buffet" where you get to pick your food preferences yourself. I didn't try everything but the meal was definitely good. I chose the location because it is close to the venue I planned to visit for a concert. It's relatively close to the Helsinki Central Station (15-20 minutes on foot) and the area is surrounded by parks, stores and restaurants in walking distance. I had to leave early (before the reception opens) and they do provide the option of leaving your key in a mailbox when wanting to check out.

When entering and leaving the bathroom, you have to be slightly careful because there's a slightly lifted surface there, you can trip if not paying attention but after one encounter you get used to it. There's a power outlet under the desk but there's also a shelf above it, so after plugging in your device you have to be careful to not hit your head on the shelf. Besides these minor inconveniences I got myself into because I'm clumsy, I'd say there's nothing negative to say about the room.

The hotel room was on the smaller side but manageable for a solo traveler. The lounge area to cook was clean and well managed. The staff, especially Thea, were excellent. The sauna is a nice touch after a long cold day outside. There is a laundry facility downstairs but you need to carry your own detergent. The bathroom is good with separate dry and wet areas.

There is not enough signage to figure out the entrance to the hotel. It took me, an international traveler, a long time to find the way in. And even inside the hotel there is not signage and you can go round in circles. The breakfast for a vegetarian is quite poor. There are no easily accessible plugpoints.

Even though I wasn’t traveling with my disabled family member this time, it was great to see the rooms were equipped so that my father could also stay in these apartments. Very special thanks to the brunette receptionist who was so kind and considerate. She is def. in the right job as a customer server! Breakfast was also very good and had lots of variety. Garage was easy to use and good price.

The doors were very heavy and were hard to walk through or I didn’t know how to use them. I can’t imagine even though the room was perfect for disabled person, how could they get in the corridor doors. Maybe there is a door for disabled.

Loved everything—except there was NO electric kettle in the room! So, I had to zombie-walk through the night to the shared kitchen just to boil water for my tea/coffee. And to make it worse, I had to pass by this painting right by the kitchen entrance. The beautiful but seriously sad and stressful-looking lady in it kept staring at me the whole time I was there. Honestly, it was kinda freaky 🤪😅

Love everything especially the staff. Well no one to talk to after working hours though 😝

This apartment was wonderful, we chose it for it's location, it was very close to the tram (a few minutes walk), not too far to the main Helsinki train station via tram, very quiet location, there was a sauna in the other tower, but we didn't get a chance to use it. The room was small but had everything we needed for a short stay, good amount of storage space for our clothes and suitcases, good kitchen facilities and beautiful views. The reception ladies were absolutely lovely and helped us with all of our questions. I recommend this accommodation.
