I am very happy that we stayed at Töölö Towers. We were a group of 4 including my parents in their 60s for whom stairs can be difficult. Although both towers have lifts, the staff were so helpful in placing us in a first floor apartment just above the breakfast room (from which we heard absolutely no noise). The rooftop at Tower A is a must visit for views across Helsinki. Our 2-bedroom apartment was somewhat basic but had everything needed for a short stay. The location is great by K-Supermarket and a tram stop from which all areas of the city are within easy reach. Breakfast was also really good with plenty of options each day and not overcrowded. Most of all, Töölö Towers provided excellent value for money. I'd honestly love to stay again sometime :)

Some facilities could be improved - the hairdryer in our room burned out so we asked for another which had the same problem. There was also quite a constant loud noise outside our windows, a bit like an engine but we couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly (not a problem if you sleep with earplugs).

It truly felt like home. We booked the 2-bedroom apartment, and it was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious, and the living room was perfect for watching YouTube and Netflix, with a nice dining area as well. The bedroom was comfortable, plus a huge mirror in the built-in cabinet which was a great touch. Most importantly, the reception staff were incredibly accommodating—two thumbs up to them! I didn’t catch their names, but kudos to the team for their excellent service. And oh, breakfast was nice.🙂

There wasn’t an iron provided, though we could have requested one, so that was fine. Both rooms came with twin beds. It would have been nicer if one room had a queen or king-sized bed while the other had two single/twin beds.

Töölö Towers is situated just outside the central Helsinki but within walkable distance to the City center. There are good public transport connections to many parts of the city. My little room was lovely and bed comfortable. Breakfast was variable and had enough choices for all diets. There was a communal kitchen on the floor for doing your own cooking if wanted to. I had a little fridge in my room which was good for my snacks and drinks. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of dust under the bed (I dropped something and had to move the bed) though otherwise the room was clean.

The front desk staff were amazing - helpful with early check-in, storing luggage the day we left, and shared useful and friendly advice. They were the friendliest people in our entire journey! The apartment was bright, clean and the kitchen was easy to use. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent- close to parks, grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. Breakfast (which was included!) was a full buffet ot hot and cold foods and drinks. It can be crowded, but it was worth attending. The laundry facilities were a life-saver with washers and dryers ar no cost. You just need to sign up.

The only issue was the heat - Helsinki was warm when we stayed, and the apartment faced the sun for most of the day. It was difficult to get a breeze, and the heat made it difficult to sleep.

Not far from the centre, calm location, enough parking space on the street (free of charge in the evening and the entire weekend Saturday/Sunday). It's a former hospital with 1950s design furniture, Scandinavian minimalistic, spacy. Our studio had a kitchen as well. One could easily stay longer. Free laundry room downstairs. Incredible free buffet breakfast. Small separate saunas for men and women, free to use every evening. Friendly staff. Good price.

WLAN not very quick. Bathroom with shower curtain, but you have that everywhere in Finland.

Located in a good area on ~25 mins walk or ~ 5 mins by tram from Helsinki Railway Station. The tram stop is just on the street in front of the buildings. Easy late-self-check-in after midnight. The instructions I got were clear and punctual. The room itself was ok, with perfect Wi-Fi and heating system. Polite reception desk. Breakfast is basic but offers quality products. Free sauna. A leisure area with some decent view on the top floor.

I believe, the housekeeping staff might be more thorough in the cleaning process of the rooms.

I liked everything about my stay. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was varied and delicious (however, the buffet is served in a bit of a cramped place). I also enjoyed a session in the small sauna room, located on one of the upper floors. There is an adjacent terrace room with a beautiful view. The hotel is a 15-minute walk away from where the city center begins. There is a tramway station (Apollokatu/Apollogatan) next to the hotel if you prefer public transport. It was easy to buy a ticket with Helsinki's public transport "HSL app".

The property seems to be affiliated with an association called Unihome Oy. Therefore, the hotel has a bit of the vibe of a university student housing. So there are many regulations (such as not having loud parties after 10 PM) that you will likely not break as an elderly traveler anyway ;) The rooms are equipped with prefabricated bathrooms. Mine was very clean, but it may still not be to everyone's liking. There is some sort of air exchange device on top of the adjacent flat building that holds the waste containers. That device goes off every five minutes with some strange noise. I didn't mind, but it could be a bit annoying if you are sensitive to noise, but still want to sleep with the window open.

Excellent option for Helsinki. It’s in a great location - walking distance to the centre and in a nice district with shops and restaurants. This is university accommodation, so functional rather than luxurious, but very pleasant and clean and quite stylish. We got a one bedroom apartment and it was really spacious with a good kitchen. A buffet-style was included and that had a good range of options - fresh fruit, cereals, salads, cheese etc plus various meats. We only had a one night stay as we were flying home the next day but it would be particularly good for a stay of a few days because of the kitchen.

Nothing. I thought it was excellent.

It's in a very nice area with a frequent tram service a couple of minutes walk away. The breakfast was good with a different selection of hot foods each day.

The doors to the building, to corridors and the rooms are all really heavy and slam shut. I had the main entrance door under my room and the door to the corridor next to it, so had constantly slamming doors keeping me awake. They ran out of English tea bags after the 4th day and as I don't drink coffee meant no hot drink with my breakfast.

View from floor 11 - appartment large, clean, convenient, kitchen has all you need to cock. Lounge with city view is on same floor, great place to chill. Sauna is on same floor (open 6pm-10pm). Reception available 7am to 10pm. Breakfast has great choice, although little room. Tram and supermarket is very close to building. Staff friendly.

Keys did not work easy on doors. Bathroom is rather small, considering it would be for 4 people. Breakfast is great but room to serve is rather tight. Overall, all was good enough to go again.
