I have stayed in 5 hotels during this trip so far. The room in Scandic Passi is the most generous. It have sufficient room for a family of three. We really love the fact that the room has a seperate bothroom from the showers. That works perfect when you have more than one person staying in the room. The staffs are friendly inclduing the breakfast staffs. The location is near everything we want to visit. We treuly love Scandic and will choose Scandic whenever we can.

The hotel seems to be a conversion from office building. The hallway is dark and old. The elevators are a bit confusing because there is a big one and then there is another smaller one seperated by a wall.

Very good and varied breakfast; very friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfy. We were able to check-in early (as of 12:00) for a small fee (20 EUR) which was great. Overall it seems to be a very good value for money in Helsinki.

The room was very dark with not enough light. Same for the bathroom - please install stronger lightbulbs or add extra lights. The design of the shower area can be improved to avoid the water spilling outside of the shower area. Overall the rooms are becoming visibly outdated. The noise insulation is not great, you can easily hear the people staying in the neighbouring room - it did not bother us but we are not overly sensitive to noise.

I found the breakfast options to be good, and the hotel's 'yesterday's food waste kilo' notice was an interesting detail. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable with a good shower. An unexpected but welcome addition was the punching bag in the room. Its location, about a 10-minute walk from the main railway station, was also very convenient.

The room could benefit from better blackout curtain options. I also found the square, thick pillows weren't ideal for my comfort, and the bathroom lighting was a bit dim for applying makeup. Lastly, the lifts seemed slow, making the stairs a quicker alternative at times.

Feels always like home to come back to Sandic Paasi. Nicely and individually decorated entrance hall and rooms. quite central but not too central:) very quiet street.

Scandic has recently changed its breakfast policy. Scandic Breakfast used to be always complimentary. Now they charge 24 EUR per person, which we find a bit over priced unless you want to do an all you can eat contest.. we decided not to eat in the Hotel and where rewarded with great finnish delicacies in the market hall across the street.

The young lady on the front counter could not do enough to help and had a really pleasant attitude. The breakfast was included and was lovely and plentiful! It’s not in the centre of town but walking distance, if you want to save some money. There is also a tram and metro so real easy!

The receptionist is manning the bar and the check in counter. Regardless of your need (and no fault of their own) you will have wait and wait. The hotel is fine, just a bit tired. Time for a Reno, me thinks…

The hotel is in a lovely square just off the main road. Location was great, with a main tram station just over the road. The tram network is so good, with trams into town every 2/3 minutes and they only take 10-20 mins depending where you're going of course. It's also walkable. Rooms were quiet and beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was very good. There was a separate dedicated area for gluten free and lactose free diets. So thoughtful. Reception had a nice design with comfy sofas and a small bar, with great (but not loud) music. There is also an outdoor seating area. There is also a gym although we didn't used it.

Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended. If I had to find something I didn't like, it was just that the rail provided for hanging clothes was a bit small.

Lovely hotel in a great location with a large bus/tram/metro stop only a few minutes walk away which give you access to everything alongside a bunch of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Breakfast was fabulous, had everything you would want and more. My room was nice and had everything I needed. The curtains were very good at blocking out the light so no sleep mask needed in the summer. Also, it was pretty quiet.

The beds weren't the best, they were the type with a thin 'mattress' on top of the bed frame/box so every morning I had to move it back into place as it got displaced in the night. That being said, the bed linen etc. was very nice. Also, it was sufficiently clean but there was wear and tear.

The room is on the 3rd floor the end room and quiet. The hotel is in a nice residential area next to the lake with beautiful sunset and springing fountain. The hotel has a nice lobby and 24 hours lobby. It also allows us to leave the luggage in a secured luggage room after check out, so that we could do some last minute shopping and touring.

If we can have a water pot, it would be better. The room is a little dated.

The room was very spacious and nice looking, there was excellent consideration for families with small children. Unlike most other options we considered this one also had a breakfast included, whilst being the cheapest of similar options. The staff was very friendly to our kid and made his trip amazing.

Bit of a joykill to complain at all, but if we really wanted to search for deficiencies, it seems like the hotel was in between different buildings with varying degree of "freshness", so I'm not sure our experience is applicable to the entire hotel. The other part of hotel had old corridors that had a bit of an "old smell" in places, one of the elevators had half-broken buttons and the breakfast could've been more colorful, also some food stuff ran out quite quickly.

Modern and fancy 4* hotel in Helsinki. With unique artistic decoration throughout the hotel and rooms. The rooms are massive as well.

The location is a bit inconvenient, but can easily walk into the centre within 15/20 minutes. Transport to the hotel was disappointing as well, especially with the work going on nearby, meaning can't get public transport to nearby the hotel at the minute, but this is outside the hotels control.
