I liked the price, location : near the bus stops and metro station, 30mins from the veterinary faculty. There is a good Asian market nearby with a discount for students. Pillow and mattress were comfortable, it was clean. I had a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, two plates, and cups. Windows were closed. It wasn't cold in the room during the +6C outside. It was quiet at night, this place wasn't full in the beginning of May and it made my stay very comfy. Only once there was a queue to the toilet. Tap water is fine for drinking. I didn't use the kitchen, you can buy ready to eat food with a 'resq app'. The view from the window was nice, there is a construction going near the place but I never heard any noise from them in the room. How to get there: if you come by bus, go to the parking lot and use elevator. Then follow instructions from their message. Shower rooms were clean with a shampoo (if you didn't find the shampoo bottle, check other shower rooms). Some people were complaining that mirrors were absent, during my stay there was a mirror in the Room and shower room too. Taking into account the facility and price - I recommend this place as a short term accommodation.

I knew from the comments they didn't have a hairdryer in the room and I think that would be a good thing to have

Convenient location for nearby conveniences, shops restaurants etc. the lovely Tokoinranta park, and walking or getting public transport into the city centre. Room was a good size for one person, desk table and chair, and television. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room, plus some crockery/cutlery, though there was plenty more available in the kitchen. Showers worked well, powerful and hot.

Bed was OK, but mattress was a bit thin, and revealed to be very stained when the top sheet very easily came loose. Pillow small and not at all firm. Bathroom/toilet could have been cleaner, but this is probably as much the fault of the other guests, as cleaners presumably only come once a day.

Great location for accessing Helsinki, just a few minutes walk from the city center. The rooms and the area are very clean.

Took a while to find the way in the 1st time. There are a lot of keypads to enter the access code on the front door of the main building. A closeup picture or something of the correct one to use would have been useful.

- The location is excellent for when visiting Tuska Metal Festival. It's a short walk from the festival area, and there is also a little grocery store on the ground floor where you can buy some "matkaolut" (or breakfast). - The self check in worked nicely and because of it we were able to come and go as we saw fit.

- I really wish the room had some sort of AC. The night was pretty sweaty, and keeping the window open all night wasn't an option either because of the loud seagulls. - There had apparently been some water damage in the hallway recently and it hadn't been properly fixed yet. - In the toilets the urinals seemed to be broken, as they were covered with trash bags.

This place is awesome. Incredible view in a perfect location. Self check in with door codes worked very well. Lovely kitchen. In your room there were plates cutlery and everything one needed. It was especially awesome to have a fridge. Everything was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. There were areas to work relax. It was surrounded by lovely gardens and so close to the river. I saw the best sunset ever from my room. Accommodation was every kind of AWESOME. Love Helsinki so much. I will be back

First of all, the views were amazing from our eleventh floor. The beds were comfortable. The room had all the facilities and more, tv, fridge, desk, microwave - more than expected. No noise issues and only a 10 minute scooter ride (or 30 min walk) into the city centre. Best value/wow factor for a stay in Helsinki. Look nowhere else for a self check in stay!!

If staying during busy season, toilet and shower usage may be hard to come by with only one of each in our part of the building. Floor and surfaces were a bit dusty.

We slept there for 3 nights and are really satisfied with our stay. The location was good and it was easy to find the place. The staff was friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions within minutes. The room and space in general was clean and quiet, bathrooms are spacious and clean, great option for this price :)

Towels had some old stains, but smelled clean and fresh, so I think it was just smth they couldn’t get rid of. The pillows were really thin, but it was also smth I was expecting and it wasn’t really a big deal. So generally no minuses.

The location: close to the city while located in a safe and nice neighbourhood, restaurants/supermarkets/metro/bus The view: has an excellent view since it is located in 11/F while there are no other top buildings nearby; enjoyed watching by sunset every night (of course, depends on the direction of the window) The event: there are plenty of public sauna nearby, worth a try!!!

The kitchen is small, but luckily no much other people cook there

Me and my son went to Metallica concert, so this hostel was a good deal. Good location, lot's of things can be reached by foot. Was pretty clean. You get a towel, bathrooms are cleaned, has toilet paper, soap, paper towels and wasn't smelly at all. Shower also had soap. You get closet, small fridge, table, beds, microwave in the room. Yes the room is small, but it's not that bad for a short stay. It was pretty quiet. Special thanks to the staff, they prepared our room earlier. My advice to contact owners before the arrival, with exact arrival time.

It's a bit tricky to find and get in at first.

Surprisingly comfortable beds in the basic standard rooms :) Good location, well connected with the airport and in walking distance from the city centre. And as they say - great overview of the city from the windows!

Only one bathroom for half floor - it wasn't a problem at all during my off-season, mid-week stay, but I can imagine it may get busy during the holidays etc.
