Everything was great, very friendly staff, clean, quiet room facing the inner courtyard. Nice bathroom. There is a very large fitness area and two saunas with long opening hours, separated for men and women. On the days I was there there were usually no other guests there. The breakfast was also very good. There were even gluten-free options and a wide range of healthy foods. The location is very good, you can reach shops and attractions quickly. I really enjoyed it and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

LUGGAGE SCALE: The only thing I was missing was a scale to weigh the suitcase. Unfortunately, I had excess luggage on the return journey because I had bought a lot of Finnish bread and sweets. :) So a luggage scale would be great. PRO TIP - ROOM LOCATION: The building consists of two parts. Smokers are better off booking a room in the main building rather than the Yrjönkatu building. To get to the Yrjönkatu building you have to walk a very long way in the hotel and use 2 different elevators, it takes several minutes. If you book the main Building, you just have to use a single elevator and you'll be out in seconds. You see it in the description "room type", if the room is in the "wrong" part. If nothings stated there, it's the main building. This is an insider tip ;)

The location is absolutely excellent, the most perfect location in the city, close to everything. The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, and they had a nice outside bar open on the weekend with a DJ.

While the room itself was nice the lighting was poor so it was very dark. The air conditioning did not cool the room well. We were there for a full week during a July heat wave. A couple days in we called for the engineer to check it out. He cleaned the filters but told us it was working as good as the system could do, only cooling the room by a couple of degrees.

Location 10/10. So easy to pop in and out of the hotel during the day to drop things off. Next door to transit, across the street from all the shops. Legendary hotel bar with just the right amount of energy and vibe. Fantastic sauna facilities. Welcome mocktails for the kids. And the breakfast. Out of this world good. As my wife said; this must be why the Finns are the happiest people in the world - the Marski Breakfast. Everyone should try it at least once in their lives.

Longer sauna opening hours. With dinners and outings running later into the evening, 10pm is a bit early for it to close. 11 would have been nice. Also, fridge wasn't cold enough - not really cold at all.

Location is great! Close to many Helsinki attractions. It's on a main street but we stayed in the other wing that has a facade on the side street. Breakfast is busy but a great spread, would have liked more salmon, personally. The hotel seems modern but the other wing feels outdated. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful if you had a specific question, but were mainly new "learning" staff that didn't provide general information on services or amenities of the hotel upon check-in.

I would have liked more salmon at breakfast. Only option was a salmon omelette. The rooms that we stayed in was in the further wing, and it felt dark and outdated, the lighting too harsh, the bathroom cramped and tired, with a bathtub. There is no possibility to exit or enter this wing without going through the other part of the hotel so it always takes long to go in and out. The wardrobe space in the room was minimal, not really easy to store your clothes.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city. We really enjoyed the location and the easy access to public transportation and the shops and cafes in the center. We also appreciated the easy walk to the main train station which made getting around and returning to the airport super easy - even with heavy suitcases. The hotel's fancy elevator where you chose your floor was also great as we never waited more than 30 seconds for a ride.

Our room was located on a bit of a noisy hallway right next to the sky bridge between the two buildings. Also, I'm not sure if we had a handicap room or not but our shower was sort of open and weird and water leaked all over the bathroom because of the poor seal under the shower 'door' thing. Also, while the air conditioning worked fine, the lack of a central temperature control seems odd in a property of this level.

Very cozy and stylish room, maybe even luxurious in some ways. Loved that there was 3 pillows per person, I never sleep with one pillow so a big plus. The location was superb for some shopping. Breakfast was extraordinary, which is the main thing I look for every time I pick a hotel. Definitely reccomend. The juice station stole my heart! Parking was comfortable – easy access to the hotel from the garage by elevator. Also I highly appreciate the security apect – you can’t go to the garage or to the hotel room floors without your room card. Definitely will visit again when back in Helsinki.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The location is perfect — convenient and beautiful. The staff were attentive and kind, especially at the restaurant, where they surprised me with a lovely birthday celebration. It was done with such warmth and care — a truly memorable moment. Thank you for creating such a special atmosphere!

Room cleaning service was very disappointing. The room was not cleaned even once in three days. Even when we hung the “Please clean” sign, the cleaning was still poorly done. The floors were not thoroughly washed, and there was dust left on the surfaces. This does not match the level of the hotel — especially considering the good staff and location.

There was no guard at the door, so they let a homeless man inside. No one noticed, and the homeless man came over to harass me and ask for money.

Location, friendly and helping staff, cleanliness. Our family room didn't have common walls with neighbour rooms and it was absolutely quiet. Beds are super comfortable. I just enjoyed sleeping there. I also liked our room size. Breakfast was really good, with various meals of good quality. Lifts are something that I want to mention - they are fast and modern. I felt that owners of the hotel really care about guests comfort.

Window view to the courtyard and other rooms windows. But probably that was one of a reason of incredible silence in our room. So, not critical at all. If someone from the hotel staff reads it, please pay attention to the shower drain during cleaning. It's covered by a tile and not visible that it's full of hairs and blocks water drainage.

The propensity of the front desk to "charge for everything." Our room was ready when we arrived at 1100, however, they wanted to charge us 20 Euros to check in early. Also, they requested our room number when we borrowed an umbrella, with the intent to charge us if we did not return it. Lastly, Booking.com indicated parking was available, but they failed to mention that there were only about 40 spots in their garage, and you were not guaranteed a spot. Cost for parking was 35 Euro/night.
