The location was ideal. I was right in the old downtown area and 5 minutes walking distance from restaurants and activities. One must check out the theaterschiff. Fantastic Performances! All in all, I can highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone waiting to visit Lübeck for a few days and be in the heart of a fantastic City. Thank you Mercure for making my stay a wonderful one. The garden terrasse was an absolute plus!

Nothing!!!What a question! The staff was warm and welcoming. When I couldn't figure out my room key problem, the staff escorted me to my room to make sure that I could access my room. Who does that???? A++++. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived before the check-in time because we were soaked wet due to heavy rain and they accommodated us immediately. The hotel was located very close to the train station which was very convenient for us. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom had the necessary toiletries. We were very happy overall.

We found it overpriced and 25 EUR for breakfast was too much. But to be fair, we booked the room last minute and it was still the most reasonably priced in comparison with the other available options in the city.

The staff were very friendly and professional. Check-in was quick and upon check-out, I could continue to use the lounge and outdoor terrace while waiting for my train later in the day. The terrace is a lovely quiet haven at all hours of the day.

There are quite many stairs to climb to reception and to the terrace. However, if you're young, fit and travelling light, that should not be a problem.

Great location and quiet. There is a glass bottle in the room that you can fill in with water (sparkling, non sparkling) using a machne on the corridor, which I really appreciated. Nice patio in the interior.

The undergroud parking has only 8 or 9 places, and it is not possible to reserve ahead. it is also super small, so if u have a bigger car, it is tricky to park (there are couple places outside of the hotel as well)

We got a lovely top floor room. Very nice and clean and warm.

I was with my dog and getting him upstairs was tough cos he is afraid of open stairs and he is 26kg… I would have liked a room lower down with him. Parking was also very very tight and super expensive for that. The receptionist suggested to take another parking place way across the street but I found it too far for my bags and dog and so on… Also, payment for dog was high. Many other places I stayed in Germany didn’t have any charge at all…

the location was spot on right in the center of the city and literally right next to the station very kind and friendly staff specially for checking in and out pretty big and cosy room and a nice bathroom it was a great stay

the cleaning wasn’t good at all they cleaned my room and i forgot something in my room, came back not even 10 min. after i left and they were already gone and done “cleaning” the cups i drank my coffee and vitamin drink with was not cleaned. it was rinsed and but back as new…I know since there was old coffee stains and the same sticky substance from my vitamin drink. I’ve probably been drinking from the same cups for 11 days 🤢 I don’t think they even cleaned my room for my stay they just vacuumed a bit made my bed and emptied my trash that’s it except for the last cleaning. she did a good cleaning job there was not clean on the floor either I hate too write this since I liked the hotel in general

Very nice and professional staff at the reception. There was also a nice place - small garden on the back of the hotel - very nice in the evening to sit, drink coffee and smoke cigarette not disturbing other people. The hotel is near the old town and Holstein Gate - just few minutes of walk.

Not enough light to read book or newspaper in the bad. Small parking place.

From the time we arrived (early 10am) the front office staff went out of their way to accomodate our luggage and advised as soon as the room was ready. as well we had left additional luggage two days before that the staff put o9n storage. The young Ukrainian lady and the young man at the front of house need special thanks.

the hotel met and exceeded our expectations from room cleanliness, to breakfasts and the room cleaning staff.

Not as seen in photos. The rooms are very big and warm. The bathroom is very clean. I stayed for 1 day after returning from my 10-day New Year's holiday. But from now on, Lübeck is a different city for me and the only hotel is Mercure.

Good location and value for money, large and nice room

The bottle in the room - meant for filling with water at the hotel, smelled really bad and had not been washed. A few other minor cleaning issues, but all good other than that.
