Proximity to airport, attractions, the suite was great as we could shop nearby at a supermarket for food and take back to the hotel. The suite was a good layout and a great base for our trips out.

There was a lack of hot water in the shower. The temperature of the water in the pool and the jacuzzi type pool were extreme temperatures. One too cold and the other so hot it was like getting in a bath that is too hot and having to jump out. Drugs / homelessness is more of an issue than I thought it would be. Some interesting people/ sounds and actions witnessed from our hotel window and on our travels.

Really nice extra large room/suite with full kitchen, separate living room, and really comfortable beds. Top floor room with view of city was great. Location of hotel excellent especially if attending an event at Saddledome as it's within walking distance. Free parking close by also and a Tim Hortons right outside the hotel. Would stay here again.

Free breakfast was okay but came out late guests were told breakfast started at 6 am but was not ready at that time and everyone had to wait. Hot breakfast item selection not great but overall breakfast was fine.

The room was spacious with all that one needed. The staff were friendly, professional & helpful. The room was cleaned regularly. The beds were comfortable. Fridge was big and dishwasher appreciated.

The pillows were uncomfortable. They became so low as to have no support whatsoever. The hot section of the breakfast on three consecutive days was not tasty. One morning I had overcooked & dry chicken sausage & dried potato cakes. I couldn’t eat these. The other sections of breakfast were good.

Friendly reception staff, good easy check in facilities, excellent underground secure parking, nice sized air conditioned room with changing and bathroom area off. Free tea and coffee available 24/7 on tap at reception - nice touch! Comfy bed, good towels. Ironing board and good hanging space in wardrobes. Clean and modern bathroom and shower areas although toilet a bit low to the floor for me!

Fringe location on edge of town, but easy enough to get to and walk into town from. Not the nicest of neighbourhoods - many rough sleepers close by or that you would have to pass to get to town - slightly intimidating. Slightly confusing concepts to have Homewood Suites next door to Hilton - where to go for breakfast on 1st day?? Breakfast a free for all and not enough staff to replenish stock. Not a great range of choice either but it was free, so can't complain too much. No room safes. Air conditioner turned off but still ran for 10-15 seconds in the middle of the night - twice!! Body lotion finished but not replenished in bathroom sink area.

The location is great. It's within walking distance to the many restaurants and Scotiabank Saddledome Arena. The employees are very friendly. Only takes about 10 minutes walking to meeting point where tour bus picks you up. You don't need to drive around. A lot of the tours pick up point is from the Calgary Tower or near Hyatt Hotel. The breakfast provided are decent. A lot of options to pick from. The room is clean and upgraded.

Which they do more refill for milk and creamer next to the coffee station.

Stayed at this hotel specifically for the division of the bedroom 2queen beds) and the living room. With kids we were able to put them to sleep and my husband and I could sit in the living room/kitchen area and watch tv, play cards etc. without having to go to sleep at the same time as our kids (if we only had a single room). I would highly recommend it for families with multiple children. Also full kitchen and anything you’d need to cook a full meal including dishwasher!! There is an amazing coffee shop, park, bridge and swimming area for kids/dogs etc about a 5 min. Walk from the hotel and not a lot of homeless people in that area. Felt as if we were in Vancouver. It was beautiful! When crossing the river to St. Patrick’s Island bring some bread for the ducks. They come right up to you and the kids loved it! The public library is right next door! AMAZING!!! Beautiful architecture and the kids area was so awesome for kids to play and they had so many activities for them. Also a really cool teenager section as well! Coffee/food shop so you can spend all day there!!

Unfortunately, there is a homeless shelter located down the street. So especially in the morning there were a lot of homeless people/drug addicted people handing around (witnessed some smoking crack pipes etc) we kept the kids close and would wait to leave the hotel until after 9am. It seemed to settle down. The free breakfast wasn’t that great. Good if there was nothing else. Long lines and sometimes no food available as it serves 2 hotels an not a lot of sitting room. We just took our food up to the room. The kids loved the pool. Too much chlorine though. My eyes were burning and we had to have full showers/baths (for the kids) every time we went in (up to 4 times a day lol)

This was our second visit to Calgary. So we understood the layout of the city. We came for the stampede and that is why we picked this hotel. And it was a bullseye! The staff are terrific and the rooms are laid out very well. We will stay here again definitely.

The property is great. As in many North American cities, there is human tragedy living on the street. Not menacing. Just sad.

I liked the Interior of our room and the convenient location.

I didn't like that there was no underground parking available. The hotel is in the middle of downtown so it's convenient but also can get sketchy. Plus it was cold and snowing the next day. I really did not like the shower we had. It was impossible to turn it on without getting all wet in cold water plus it kept running out beside the toilet. Also, breakfast was very limited. Run out of food so we settled for coffee.

Room is of good size and clean with wash basin outside the washroom , so others can use the sink while there are those using the washroom, which is very good actually. The room is big for the 2 beds and the sofa bed is huge for 2 persons. Kitchen is good size but we didnt use it. Breakfast choices is not much, or probably we were just located on the smaller space of the dining area. I have checked in in similar star hotels with better breakfast choices and lots of food. Parking is underground for a fee. Overall its a good place to stay while in Calgary.

A very comfortable place to stay with access to everything. Central location was great and with access to the shopping center adjacent - we had lost a bag and needed to replace clothes etc. Great information and responsiveness from staff. The breakfast room and availability was excellent, especailly when we had a very early start to catch transport to our next destination. A very relaxed and reliable service. Thank you from NZ
