I work for a prestigious heritage hotel that cannot be a five star hotel due to the restrictions of the building to renovate, but we always strive to offer a five star service. Richter Pass Beach Resort reminds me of that. The room was simple, and bathroom was small but we had everything we needed, and I could tell, they put some efforts to upgrade the room. I always have 'S' hocks in my toiletry bag and they came in handy as the counter space was limited, and not much shelving unit to place our necessities in the bathroom. Our room was facing the lake and we are so glad we chose to pay extra. As other review mentioned, Stacy, Hewie, and other staff were all kind and down to earth, and doing their best to make us welcomed and comfortable. I received a few text messages from the resort during our stay regarding what's happening around the resort. Because of that, we were able to join an unexpected entertainment; a hula dance and an interactive African drum and dancing night in the property. It was a lot of fun to enjoy the evening with other guests; kids and adults at the resort. The backdrop of the entertainment was stunning... lake and sunset view! I woke up early every morning, and walked to the quiet private beach from one side to the other while watching the sun rising from the mountain, and it was the best way to start the day! Location is great. We are wine lovers, and we went 2 to 3 wineries every day, mostly in Oliver, which was only 15 minutes easy and scenic drive to many wineries. Highly recommend the resort!

More shelving space in the bathroom.

We were very happy with our room. I liked the simple understated nature of the location which was amazing. We were overlooking Osoyoos Lake both to the left and the right from our door on the 1st floor and the individual Richter Pass Beach Resort murial was great to look at out our window. I loved that there was enough parking every day when we came home from exploring the region or a days kayaking on the lake. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. We made a friendly connection with our host, who enjoyed his job and loved Osoyoos. We were able to use the laundry easily before we moved on and even managed to have a swim in the lake from the beach just beside our accommodation. We fell in love with Osoyoos and could live there. The rates were very reasonable pre June 1st. Thanks for having us Richter Pass Beach Resort we would definitely come back.

We could have used a kettle and china cups not paper ones.

Being right on the beachfront was a treat, and the private beach was by far the highlight — quiet, clean, and perfect for relaxing. The setting made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic beachfront stay.

one downside was that the property does not have an elevator, which made carrying luggage to the third floor a bit inconvenient. The building could also use a little updating.

Great location on beach and 10 minutes walk to everything.Lawn and BBQ area.Friendly staff.Stayed in a one bedroom condo on the 3rd floor with huge sunny balcony and sweeping views over the two parts of Osoyoos lake.Condo is huge,suitable for a long stay with clothes washer and dryer.Fully equipped kitchen,big bathroom with tub.A really good deal.

The bedroom curtains are a few inches too short and narrow,letting in sunlight at 5a.m.Bring eye masks!

It was a lovely location. The room we had opened onto a balcony on the beach. There was a table on the balcony and we ate there all the time. Stacey was super helpful with any questions we had. The room was quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks. We used it as a base to tour wineries through Penticton,Oliver and Osoyoos .

The description of the kitchen area wasn’t correct and the fridge was a lot smaller than we expected. That was all.

The location was right on the lake and the amenities were comfortable and as shown in the photos. It had TV, patio seating, two electrical stove coil, fridge, and kitchen sink in addition to bathroom's. I saw but didn't use they have a coin Laundry room and electrical scooters at ground floor. We stayed for a night but can see the potential of staying here for a longer term stay.

The outside isn't impressive but the inside is nice. Hold onto your expectations, the gem is behind the doors. We arrived in the evening and had to ring a bell for service, but staff was friendly and showed up for us.

It was right on the lake and had a great sandy beach.

There was not a smoke alarm in the room. Two other rooms had non functioning smoke alarms. The stairs were very dirty with bird droppings that were never cleaned the week I was there. The shower had no grab bar and was difficult to get in and out. The shower curtain did not prevent water to flood the bath mat.

Hosts and Staff were excellent. Had a band Saturday night which was super! Location central.

The chairs for the table were dirty and had stains. The kitchen counter was tiny and the burners didn't work so plug in burners which worked well were supplied but then there was no counter space. The pots and pans were old (glad i brought my own). The room was a good size so could add a small cart or something for more counter space. Also more hooks would be beneficial. The railing on the balcony was filled with cobwebs.

Breakfast N/A Location was excellent , the view is exceptional ! The first week the room was not so great , no space between the beds and the rest of the room , the stove did not work . The second week we moved to 2 bedroom condo , everything was great , except the water , the color was brownish , do not know the reason .

The room is a good size but quite tight for two. Nice sitting outside, but even better is full access to a lovely beach right at the hotel (5m from our room). Recommended for an early morning swim. Staff attractive and very helpful Excellent arrival and electronic checking. Good storage for clothing Well stccked kitchen
