The receptionist was very friendly, and gave us a discount when we were told that our room was not in service. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Great value for what it’s worth!

The fridge in the room could have been cleaned (we didn’t need to use it so it was ok!). I wouldn’t rely on the breakfast that is “included”. But again, great value for what’s it’s worth as a stop off location on route to Banff etc.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the facility looked clean and pleasant. My only complaint is we arrived at 7 pm and was told the room wasn’t ready. We left, went for coffee, came back was given out key. There were no towels, face clothes or hair dryer in room when I pulled the night table drawer out it was dirty inside ( shredded cheese or ??). The bed was very comfortable and bedding sufficient. There wasn’t a remote in room for tv.

The location was fine. It is a bit out of the city centre but very close to a lovely restaurant, fast food places, a grocery store, and a liquor store. What else do you need? The establishment was a bit dated but clean and the bed in a nice size room was really comfortable. The simple breakfast suited us, Coffee, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt. There was an old (and I can say that as I'm 77) grumpy pants ahead of us who, I think, expected the usual greasy eggs, bacon etc. and I think he even took photos. Next time maybe he'll stay at the expensive place nearby. For the price, we thought the accommodation was really good and we'll definitely stay there again.

Nothing really. It was a great place to stop enroute or stay for a few days. Salmon Arm is a nice small city.

Location was perfect, I enjoyed the fact that there is a pub right behind the hotel that has really good drinks, and superb food. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower head needs replacing as it sprays all over the place and the lighting in the bathroom makes it difficult to see properly, as the light is harsh but only focused over the sink area. The doors could use better sound proofing, as the sound of people closing their doors in the hallway is very loud and jarring throughout the night/morning.

Was good location for what we needed and was a good nights sleep, staff were lovely!

The TV was broken, we weren’t too fussed as it was late so we just slept instead and one of the lampshades was broken, wasn’t a huge problem but this was the most expensive place we booked.

It would have been great if you would have checked in my cousin who had travelled three hours from Golden instead of making him return in a couple hours to do so. Especially when room were ready. 😩

Breakfast was OK. Coffee was good.

Waffle iron would be better to have more of a fresher, home made taste. Scrambled eggs and bacon would be nice. Also, cranberry juice from the dispenser machine and a milk alternative like almond milk would be fantastic.

All was generally good.

Cleaning needs to be more detailed. I saw strands of hair in several places on the bathroom walls. I think these hairs were probably put there by whatever sponge/mop/cloth used by the cleaner. Once I saw that, I started doubting the extend/depth/thoroughness of the cleaning of the room. The hairs caught my eye because they were darker than the walls. Nothing else caught my eye in the rest of the room, and didn't play detective in the search for anything else. However, the hairs in the bathroom gave me doubts on the cleanliness of the room.

Location and price. Much much cleaner than the last six stays!!

Loud highway trucks, Jake brakes all down the hill! When a biker is yelling about how bad his room was..still needs some improvements!

Friendly helpful staff and the room was quiet and in excellent condition

Super 8 breakfast is partially back to normal. During COVID breakfast was just gluey sticky plastic wrapped stuff. Post COVID it’s much better than that, but not all the way back to pre-COVID, no waffles, only one type of cereal, two types of bread, but no bagels, etc.
