This hotel is in an excellent location by the side of Lake Muskoka. There is a boardwalk to restaurants and cafes and a steamboat wharf. Locally there are lakeside beaches and Bracebridge which has plenty of shopping outlets. The accommodation is welcoming and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was good and there are options for dining inside and out. The room we stayed in was well stocked with kitchenette facilities. It had a balcony which although it was not a lakeside room had a good view as it was the highest floor.

There was not a lot wrong with the accommodation other than the cost but it was the height of summer so we expected higher prices for a great location

The hotel is terrific! I liked the breakfast. Healthy options are available to eat at the breakfast buffet. (Slow-cooked Oatmeal and unsweetened fruit.) Friendly staff, comfortable beds and a quiet natural environment. A nice room is conducive to relaxation. Nice walking trail around the lake with benches to stop and watch the sunset. Being a book and forget about shopping.

Gravenhurst: Discovery Centre closed for the entire weekend, most stores including restaurants don't open until May. Beware for a weekend trip that a lot and f stores are closed on Sunday. But you may find some in Bracebridge, a short drive away.

The location was ideal for us and our suite was like home from home. Loved the pool and jacuzzi !

The pool / jacuzzi had no privacy ? A blind would be nice , esp in eve . There was no where to get changed after using the pool and you was not allowed to take the towels back to your room , so would have to walk back in wet swimwear as you could not undress due to there only being windows with no blinds

I enjoyed our stay at Residence inn.The breakfast was good and it was clean.The staff were very accomodating.The location was good as well.My only complaint,not that it mattered to me was that the pool was a little cool.I saw more people using the hot tub than I did swimming.Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

The room was relatively large and comfortable for my family and I. very clean. There was a well equipped kitchen if needed.

There was a nice porch, though a large fan from one of the close units made tons of noise and made it difficult to hear another person talk. Additionally, the water from the AC from the room above us leaked into our porch.

We were very happy that they gave us a bigger room😍 Everything was good, the pool, the location, the cleanliness, the staff.

The breakfast was good, though I don’t like this style (no proper cups just paper ones). Could have more vegetarian/vegan options. The cleaner threw away my wine acrylic glasses that were over the counter.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. The boardwalk is quit comfortable to walk or bike. The staff is very friendly. They are at your beck and call if and when needed .I give it a 11 out of 10

For our stay the only dislike was It wasn't long enough. My wife didn't want it to end. I think you spoiled her lol

Perfect base for a stay in Gravenhurst, right by the lake and at the end of the lakeside boardwalk. Large suite which meant plenty of room for our 17 year old daughter on the sofa bed in the sitting room. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the breakfasts and we enjoyed having the pool and gym available (some of us made more use of these than others!) Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Breakfast was good with good selection. Staff was very accomodating...they had read the note attached to our booking and gave us the room type that we had requested.

Coffee urn was empty and we had to go to front desk to requst more. We were not the only ones to not get that much needed first cup! But, it was looked after quickly.

A great hotel right by the lake. Very quiet and peaceful but right by the boardwalk where there are restaurants and bars. The staff in the hotel were particularly friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
