Perfectly situated to walk to harbor and La Rambla and other great sights. Hotel was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They were especially helpful and accommodating when Spain lost all it's power for at least 6 hours. Hotel was very clean and quiet. I'd definitely stay again. In fact we did extend our stay.

Can't think of anything I didn't like about the hotel. It was great.

The staff were very helpful, from the moment I walked in, their warm welcome and eagerness to assist made me feel valued as a guest. They were quick to address any queries I had about the local attractions and even went out of their way to make recommendations for nearby rooftops (Abby). This level of attentive service greatly enhanced my overall experience.

My enthusiasm was somewhat dampened by the condition of the in-room maintenance. It seemed that the rooms themselves could benefit from more thorough upkeep. I encountered minor issues, a malfunctioning air conditioning unit,

We arrived at this hotel on a Thursday afternoon and the staff were welcoming. The hotels location is, superb if you want to be central without being too “in it”. It’s right next to les Ramblas, the marina/beach and the more local areas like el Born whilst also being walkable to Sagrada Família etc (if you don’t mind a 50 minute walk). The hotel has a small boutique vibe, my room was a good size and offered most of what you would expect. There isn’t a bar in the hotel but there are plenty around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for someone coming to Barcelona for a weekend.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Very large double bed which was really comfortable. Large shower with a rainfall shower head which was a nice touch. Would definately stay here again. Very boutique place; they've done the decor really well.

As hard as we tried, we couldn't get the air-conditioning to really cool the room. It was bearable, but we were hoping for a little more reprieve from the humid heatwave.

- Location is just perfect., one of the best. - It's a refurbished hotel, most of the things were new. - They have small cafe on ground floor with healthy food and smoothies. - There are some great cafes and local clothes shops nearby.

- I really dont have much negative to say, just sometimes there was a minor smell coming from the toilet (probably sewage system is old), but i found solution for that, i have covered floor drain with the towel. - The balcony was super small, but i guess all the buildings in gothic area are the same.

it was my second stay at Hesperia Barri Gòtic Hotel and i think i will be visiting it more. its located in best area in Barcelona. Super cozy, friendly staff, all city attraction is in walkable distance, rooms are clean and refreshments are great at the reception. Highly recommended hotel!

some of the rooms are small some of them are without balconies rooms generally are not soundproof but, you cannot consider above points as negative. hotel is located in one of the oldest areas in Barcelona and this is the main reason for these....

Excellent location (in San Martin Plaza) and beautiful property, as well as the room. Felt special and luxurious. The breakfast, while more expensive than we paid at most places, was extensive and delicious. In comparison to breakfasts at other hotels, this breakfast was the best! Staff were courteous and helpful. Excellent stay!

Attractive building, centrally located, just a few blocks away from the busiest sections of the city. Lovely room with attractive view!

5 Stars for everything here. Perfect Location, helpful staff, this hotel is in the middle of everything and the hotel is in a safe area. You can absolutely walk to the beatch and La Rambla.

Location is excellent - easy to get to everywhere. Room was lovely and spacious - good bathroom, lift up to the floor. Clean rooms, clean hotel. Lovely staff - very friendly. Nice extra of having a tea/coffee machine and cookies in the reception each morning and then other snacks each evening. Nice option of leaving bags when arrived to early for checkin and for leaving bags when we had to check out but didn't want to go to the airport straight away.

Staff were incredible,location perfect,lovely building I can’t recommend this place enough have been telling everyone that they need to check it out I’m definitely coming back very soon…it was my birthday when I was there and they made it very special and went the extra mile I had a cake candles and sweets and a lovely message from them so thoughtful can’t recommend this place enough…….
