Breakfast was much better than expected. The staff was superb, friendly and helpful. Stayed there during the Sturgis bike rally and the staff even provided spaces for motorcycle washing. BONUS: all the things you needed for washing your bike were readily available. Outback Steakhouse was literally located out the back door of the hotel. PLENTY OF PARKING for folks who trailered their bikes. Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse were a five minute Uber ride away.

Cant thing of anything the staff could have done better. Coffee in the lobby was always ready -- they folks at the front desk made certain of that.

The breakfast was disappointing. The last two times we have stayed the pancake maker did not work. The sausage tasted funny. We actually went down and ended up going back to our room and ordered Door Dash breakfast from McDonalds. The staff at the front desk was ALWAYS friendly but the lady working the breakfast bar was borderline rude and acted annoyed by us.

Truly the only thing that wasn't good about our stay was the breakfast. We LOVE the pool area, we love the staff (especially the front desk guy with the beard, I wish I remembered his name) and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel in Rapid City isn't bad but not great. The hotel across from it is shady and that area of Rapid City has gone downhill. The area in the immediate area of the hotel is well maintained and it's great to have Outback right next door.

The hotel seemed very up to date and well designed. The fixtures and furnishings were modern and everything looked well constructed. The pool was also great; my kiddo loved the water feature and wanted to be at the pool more than he didn't.

The breakfast was just OK, but it was free, so we can't really complain. I do wish that they had alternative dairy options aside from just chocolate soy milk and the pancake machine was broken every day except for our last day. That of course resulted in a sad kid.

This was the quickest check-in I've ever encountered. One quick signature and he handed me the keys and we were in! They had a large selection of items for breakfast, and they all tasted were great. My wife really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! If we didn't have a deadline that morning I would have stayed for an extra cup of coffee.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel/motel where the HVAC system worked properly and this was the same with this unit/hotel, and my only complaint. It took forever for the system to kick in to provide the proper temperature.

Staff so helpful and accommodating

The location was hard at first but I have stayed here before so used to it now. Came back because staff are so accommodating and internet connection works great! I needed it for work.

Location to the Badlands and Mount Rushmore! Also, it had stairs that went directly to the 2nd floor which was located right near our room! And it had an extra bathroom for guests on the 2nd floor!

The breakfast was fair, and there were no bananas provided.

The water pressure in the shower was awesome. Clean, big room. Breakfast was out of this world. So good.

The king mattress had so many springs. You could feel each one. Need a new mattress in our room.

Loved the hot breakfast every morning. The pool was great but rather chilly even being inside. Our rooms were nice and location was perfect for us.

We were asked to turn in slips of paper with our room info on them if we wanted our rooms cleaned. We turned these slips in 4 different days and our room only got serviced once.

The handicap room was big and allowed my husband to be able to move around, get into bed, and get into the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and met our needs. Staff was SUPER helpful and friendly!

The bath bench was good but a little uneven. The legs needed to be able to fit the tub a little better. But this is NOT your fault! The company that makes the bench should think ahead!

I liked the big breakfast area and that there were gluten free options for my child with celiac disease.

It had a funny smell at first but I got used to it.
