The room was really nice—very spacious and clean, with a lovely view. A great buffet breakfast was included! The hotel grounds were pleasant, although we couldn't use the pool because it was under maintenance the day we stayed. The cruise shuttle was convenient; we pre-booked it during our check-in the night before. The hotel is within walking distance of Dania Pointe shopping mall. The free airport shuttle was very convenient, you have to call to request it and they will pick you up at one of the pick-up locations.

Although the cruise shuttle is convenient, for parties of more than two, it might be more practical to take a shared ride. We paid $20 per person plus tip. Additionally, there weren't many time slots available; it was either 10:30 AM or 12:15 PM. We had a check-in time between those two, so we arrived late.

Breakfast options where amazing, room was huge, transportation excellent, we walked right out of the plane to the outside transportation spot and the shuttle was right there. They were still doing renovations to the hotel, which for some people might be a problem, but we did not encounter any problems with any noise or disruptions. 100% Recommended. Walking distance from a lot of shops and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We will be coming again for our next pre- cruise stay!!!

Nothing I didn’t like. It did not affect me directly and is not the hotel’s fault, instead is a sign that people love this hotel. On weekends the lobby gets really crowded in the morning, because people are waiting for the shuttle service to take them to the cruise port. Lots of people and luggage everywhere. It’s just in the morning, after the shuttle leaves everything is cleared.

They used to have a large water urn in the lobby. We were thirst after our long trip and out of water and you had to buy it. A lot of hotels give you at least a free bottle of water. The bar gave us couple glasses of water but he looked peeved when we went back for refills. We went out and bought some bottles. Also, the breakfast used to be fairly good in the past but not this time.

We liked the proximity of the hotel to the airport & cruise port, which was our destination. Hotel shuttle was great, local shopping & dining was quite sufficient. Separate company on site for cruise port shuttle. Pool was very nice & onsite restaurant was good.

The hotel has been refurbished & overall quite well done. The elevators could be spruced up a bit on the inside. We stayed on a Thursday & Friday night. The room rate was $200+ for the first night and jumped to $400 for the second night. I feel this is price gouging that is geared for the cruise ship customer who are awaiting their departures on Sat. $200 a night is the high end for the room. For the many Canadians who are using the hotel there is a 40% exchange rate to add on. Granted I was aware of the approximate cost for 2 nights.65

I have stayed at this Hotel for years now, I have always been very comfortable. I must have had the whole floor to myself, it was very quiet and I slept like a baby.

One thing that I didn't like was the strange smell in the bathroom. It smelled like cheap wood with some kind of lacquer, I smelled it when I first opened the door to come into the room. Also, the lights on either side of the bed were so dim and small that if you wanted to read, you were out of luck; please remove them from all rooms. Room 309.

Room was clean. Liked the upgrades around the inside.

Uninspired meals have been the same FOREVER. Also it would be nice to not have to bring my own toilet paper just once. We always have a room with very little toilet paper on the roll, and NO extra on the shelf. We have NEVER had a room that didn't have a very LOUD air conditioner. Upgrade A/C units.

We enjoyed the free 24 hour shuttle service from the airport. They accommodated us shortly after midnight due to a flight change and slight delay. Other guests were expected to be arriving even later. We chose this hotel due to the location, which has several restaurants nearby including Panda Express, Burger King, Taco Bell and Outback Steakhouse. I had never eaten at a Panda Express and I loved it!! The breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn was also very good! There’s also a small bar where you can order drinks in the evenings. I didn’t see any major concerns with the hotel in general like I read in the reviews a few months ago. The room looked like it had been updated not too long ago and there wasn’t any major construction going on during our 2 night stay. We didn’t choose to pay the $20 per person for the Cruise Shuttle Service. Once we were ready to go, we took an Uber to the Odyssey of the Seas at Cruise Terminal 18 at Port Everglades which was only $10.56 plus tip for two people. I would definitely use this hotel again!

That there isn’t a free shuttle to and from the cruise terminals.

We were happy to be located near the airport and cruise port. The shuttle service to the hotel was great. Breakfast in the morning was satisfying. The accommodation was very nice and the staff friendly and helpful, even before we arrived! The lobby area was comfortable and beautifully appointed, which made the time between check-out and the appointed time to board our cruise ship so pleasant.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. There was a great mall and lots of restaurants within a short walk.

The rooms could use an update but they were very clean
