Location of hotel was excellent - close to Lake Michigan / Navy Pier, Michigan Ave / Magnificent Mile, many restaurants within walking distance, plus there was a grocery store right next door. One bedroom suite was spacious with nice furnishings, great TVs, a small kitchenette, and lots of space in the bathroom for toiletries and hanging damp towels. Elevator was prompt and free WiFi was speedy. Plenty of comfortable seating in the lobby also. The texting system for checking on guests was friendly and very responsive when a problem was reported.

Other than the mentioned staff involved with the texting system and responding to problems, other hotel staff was unfriendly and even rude. The front desk staff was not the least bit responsive when we tried to resolve an issue. The biggest disappointment was housekeeping (although our room was very clean upon check-in). We were asked when we checked in whether we wanted daily housekeeping service and we indicated that we did want that. But housekeeping never serviced our room during our stay and we had to text each evening to obtain towels, coffee supplies, and toilet paper. We had to change out our own trash and left it outside the door in the hall. Then on the morning of our departure, a housekeeper entered our room at 8:30am and asked when we expected to leave!

Everything, the location, it was walking distance to all our excursions, restaurants, etc The cookies are delicious. The staff, great. The rooms were always cleaned. Honestly I can’t think of anything bad to say, because there isn’t any. I would recommend this place, not just for everything I have mentioned, but what I didn’t mention in the price, EXCELLENT!!

Great location and friendly staff. Elevator from parking garage directly into lobby. The room was huge and clean. I liked that there was both a table set and seperate couch in the room along with a bench. The bed was very comfortable.

Pillows were not great (for me at least- super fluffy). Shower could have been bigger. Parking entrance and small unloading area is off of Ohio St. and a little difficult to manage.

The hotel is very well situated and close to all the skyscrapers and Michigan Avenue. Excellent pool area with lots of seats, loungers and cabanas. Fridge in room was convenient and poolside view spectacular.

It would have been good to supply proper cutlery, plates and cups. Only other downside was Starbucks on are on the BDS boycott list supply their coffee.

I was not expecting to like this hotel as much as we did. Our room was very spacious and clean. The pool was very nice. Staff was amazing. Close to everything we needed and easy access to public transportation. Had a lovely time here with my husband. Already booked another stay for next year.

Hotel location central to most of the attractions. Although dining facility at the hotel is mediocre, there are many restaurants nearby. Hotel staff very friendly, personable and helpful. The room I had was very clean and comfortable.

A nice bar would be great for evenings when I don't feel like going out.

Staff was very accommodating and the room was quite spacious. Location was central to many restaurants & activities. Loved the small kitchen & the fact there was a Whole Foods one block away.

Sales pitch to sign up for the club. Salesperson got very angry when we declined multiple times. Keep in mind we chose to attend the presentation and could have declined.

I booked the king suite and I was definitely pleased with my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and up to date. The bathroom shower is amazing and the bed is so cozy and soft.

The parking garage hallways could definitely use some maintenance as they were dingy and foul smelling.

Great location central to downtown and the main sites of the City. Lovely outdoor pool which we thoroughly enjoyed having the option to relax in after walking the streets of Chicago. Grand Vacations rooms on the top floor worth the extra fee. Very spacious and great views. Wet bar area came in very handy if you’re staying for longer than a few nights.

Grand Vacations rooms were superb. Spacious and very well appointed. Only complaint was you were only entitled to one room service a week which for a 9 night stay was not enough. Apparently the policy is because the properties are time share so treated differently to the hotel. Doesn’t make sense! Anyway, Maid was very obliging and cleaned the room an additional time which we paid an extra tip for. Longer stays need more room service as standard l, especially for an upmarket hotel which was orherwise wonderful.
