Big, wide hallways so it didn't feel claustrophobic going to my room. The room itself was great - I loved all of the features of my kitchenette, including dishes, dishwasher, cleaning supplies.

Breakfast was a mess. It was tiny and overcrowded, and too much was jammed into too small of a space. I skipped it because it was unappetizing and I didn't care for the buffet presentation, where little kids were handling food and spoons and putting food they handled back into the buffet. The elevators were also weird. I appreciate the security the system lends, but it was very unnerving being on an elevator with no buttons or displays inside.

The wall behind my windows had greenish mold all over and not nice to look at The complimentary breakfast had limited options. No proper restaurant in the facility for guest

They offer complimentary breakfast everyday. The general manager was super helpful and kind. It's pretty cool. It's an old hospital! Great location.

There is no long body mirror in the room. Walls are thin!

The breakfast was probably the best continental I've had. Great variety. Very fresh. Staff was very friendly. The beds are extremely comfy. We had a balcony room which was absolutely amazing. Booking.com oversold our particular room so the hotel gave us 2 rooms and comped the 2nd room! We were even able to order Starbucks lattes at the front desk (for only $5!) and the charge just came off of the room deposit. We came to town for a concert at the United Center. We walked and felt safe before and after the concert.

Honestly, there wasn't anything that could be complained about or improved.

Large room with kitchen, 2 big TVs, 2 king size beds and a nice bathroom. Modern and comfortable. Very secure. Located in a nice safe area 10 minutes with metro outside the central city. 5 minutes walk from blue line and 7 minutes from pink line.

A bit noisy especially from outside noises but that was not too much trouble. Breakfast could be better and the service as well. We had to wait 90 minutes more to check in and we were travelling for 2 days to get there. Also we had to give 500 dollars extra as a security deposit, while there was no indication on our booking to do so.

Loved the history of building, parking behind and affordability of parking, location, breakfast, and rooms.

Should have free coffee bar all day in lobby.

Very kind and friendly staff, from the front desk to the cleaning personnel! Parking on property! Great if you want to be a out of downtown. Very comfortable beds.

Breakfast was not as good as I would have expected! Scrambled eggs come from a giant plastic bag and are tasteless! Parking costs $30/day. My room was not cleaned within 5 night stay, also I didn't especially asked for it to be cleaned, I would expect the room to be cleaned every 2 - 3 nights. No restaurants in walking distance.

Location was pretty nice. We wanted to be relatively close to the Amtrak station, and this was about a 10 minute Uber ride away. The hotel was very nice, spacious and high quality. The room was bigger than I expected, with decent sized couch and table for lounging. The TV had casting capabilities on it, so we could watch something on our phone. Didn't partake in the breakfast but it seemed pretty fresh and abundant.

I prepaid for the room but was charged again when I showed up. Had to go back down to get things resolved, which they were when I checked out the next day.

The property is well located, has some very interesting history, is clean and family friendly. Loved the rooms with the en-suite kitchen which was perfect for our family. Our room has compact and could house 4 people- we found it quite spacious.

1. The Room Service has to be requested repeatedly to get them to clean the room. They do it once a day and if you miss that time, you'll have to wait another day. 2. The breakfast is extremely disorganized and distasteful.

Rooms large, good space, nice old building w history. Parking easy.

Our AC didn’t work in the living area, nor did our phone and the kitchen light had a sensor and came on all thru the night. We had facilities come up and he said it was fixed after resetting, but AC never came on in living are, the room remained hot and stuffy for where my son slept and entire stay. Asked for late checkout and they were not flexible. We had an unplanned delay due to move in timing for UIC and they said they would not accommodate.
