The place was very clean and pretty chic and ran pretty smoothly. Nice shower, bedroom, and gathering area downstairs. Friendly staff. Check-in was easy.

The round the clock tea service didn’t work because there was no hot water available. The night check-in clerk was the only one on duty and clearly overworked and didn’t know how to refill it. The water filter was running low, so the filtered water flowed just a few drops per second. These were amenities which were meant to be available and which I would have greatly appreciated if they had been maintained. I would have appreciated some gluten-free options at breakfast. I didn’t partake. I did appreciate the complementary long-distance calls from the room phone, as we were having cell phone troubles.

The location is phenomenal. Water pressure was great. I loved the built in extra security for the door. Breakfast was usually great. I loved that there were so many options. I also loved the lounge.

The A/C was hard to figure out and wouldn't stay on throughout the day. There was a light out at the desk. The shower door didn't close all the way. I never saw the the terrace was ever open.

Facility is quiet and clean. Staff is super friendly and courteous.

I was asked to pay separately for parking. At the time I had breakfast, the dining room appeared in adequately staffed. It did in fact improve during the course of my meal. While in my room, there was this persistent sound coming from the bathroom area, like toilet being flushed. Not sure exactly what that was, but if one is a light sleeper, it will impact your sleep.

The room was good, there were old stains on the duvet. I really loved the shower, the lighting was dim in the bathroom for makeup. My necklace fell down the drain totally my fault for leaving it on the shelf above. The staff was so helpful with this and sent someone to retrieve it while I was out. I didn’t get to thank the man in person but I left a tip in an envelope for him. This was truly above and beyond, I’m so thankful as it was very sentimental.

The hotel was nice and modern and the reception man let us in way early which was wonderful as extremely cold out. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to eat. We were pleased with the room

We were on a Cunard cruise and no yellow metered taxis and they ordered us a car for 40 dollars to do less than two miles. A rip off we thought. We were not pleased about that. The neighborhood was ok. A few local cafes etc and a small supermarket nearby.

We really enjoyed the social space including the coffee and tea that are available any time. It's a great place to gather with the people you are travelling with. The rooms are very well appointed. Plenty of place for your luggage and room to sit and desk area. LOVE that the sink is in the bathroom area. The staff was wonderful and helpful.

It was really warm in our room and we couldn't figure out how to lower the temperature. There really wasn't anything else we didn't like!

The accommodations were nice.

I have received a a refund. Upon arrival I was told my reservation was not found. I was also told it was for the previous day. ( how could that be? Unfound yet you know what day I was originally scheduled for. I changed the date through the confirmation email. Once that was taken care of I enjoyed my stay.

Everything staff are very kind and helpful and understanding best staff I’ve seen

I didn’t like that I’ve told them lrior to my booking that I will be to hours later and leaving two hours earlier and they said okay done but then came and knocked on me at 11 when I was supposed to leave at 1 clean service and others kept on coming in my room without permission I felt very uncomfortable

The room was very comfortable and well designed. Great shower. Nice view. The people who worked at the front desk and in housekeeping were helpful. Good, small gym as well.

Breakfast was just ordinary and didn’t feel that healthy, aside from the oatmeal.

The room was very smartly laid out with tons of hooks and storage space. The location in Gowanus was very convenient for me and there are many breweries nearby. I didn’t use the common spaces but they looked good. Check in staff were super friendly.

Cleaning could have been a little more thorough but not worth complaining about.
