This location is perfect for my needs. The area is really changing and I think it will only be better and better.

There was no where but the floor to put my suitcase on.

The location is perfect! Tucked off on a quiet block, easy access to lots of shops and public transit. We were able to walk all over Brooklyn, and easy to get to Manhattan. The staff is wonderful! They were so accommodating and sweet. We had a problem with the AC in our room, and they kindly switched us to another room. Huge shout out to the front desk staff! The rooms are small, but comfortable. We stayed for 5 days and felt very cozy. The beds are VERY comfortable! The coffee and bagels in the morning were excellent! There is a beautiful lounge area downstairs by the coffee/bagel bar, it was perfect for hanging out in the morning!

My only complaint is the rooms could use one more surface/ storage/ sitting option. The room has a very Scandinavian/minimalist feel, which we loved! But, it was hard to set anything down or put anything away, as there is very limited storage. Just a couple more floating shelves and a simple wooden chair would make all the difference!

Convenient location, firm comfortable mattress, clean bathroom, very pleasant staff, big breakfast beagles.

The room itself is tiny. Need to watch your sheens going around the sharp corners of the mattress’ wooden platform while bending your back to avoid hitting the TV or the shelves on the wall. The hallways need major updates: the carpet has worn off holes, the walls need repairs, lighting improvements. The outdoor entrance is not welcoming. It looks abandoned property. The picture is deceiving. The property owner or management must do trash pick up and weeding.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, The shower had great pressure and hot water. The room was clean. We were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go.

When we pulled up to the hotel we weren't sure what to expect. The block seems a bit sketchy. There was no closet, and no where to put my suitcase except on the floor. There were only 3 hangers so we weren't able to hang up our clothes.

Overall, The Baltic Hotel was good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, even if a little small. Also, the staff was helpful and accommodating. Lots of food and drink options nearby too.

There were small details that could be improved, but not too big a deal considering the cost. Small details like it would have been helpful to (1) have hangers in the room rather than just hooks and (2) have the option to get a wake up call from the front desk for early flights. But again, these are pretty minor details. I was satisfied with the experience overall.

The breakfast was okay. Enough to get us through the day. I wish there was orange juice in the morning. It would also be nice if coffee was left out 24/7

I didn't feel much privacy being in a room around the corner from the desk. We could hear everyone and I'm sure they could hear us. The door on our room needs slammed shut, so there were a couple times it wasn't closed and we had no idea. I wish coffee pots were in the rooms. There should be at least some more hooks on the walls or counter space near the mirror. There is no closet, so extra hooks would've been helpful. I did my makeup and hair on the floor, which was fine, but also couldn't just do makeup standing up since there was no counter to set my stuff on.

The room was small but reasonably clean. The location was good for my purposes.

The breakfast. LOL. Those little packets of oatmeal and water and a microwave. No juice no milk no coffee no bread. But there are good breakfasts all over Brooklyn so I didn’t care. But they really shouldn’t claim breakfast is included when that’s what they call breakfast! Had a good laugh with the other guests. But other than that it was a nice hotel. I’d stay again.

The morning of our trip we got a text from the hotel stating that if we had any questions to text them. When it became apparent that traffic was much lighter than expected, we texted to see if we could check in early. We never got a return text. Finally, we had to call from the road. We were able to check in early.

Staff was incredibly friendly, the Room was fresh and modern, and the morning coffee and cereal in the lobby lounge was great! Staff provided great suggestions on local coffee and cocktail stops and even gave us a card for free coffee at one of the local shops.

The bathroom was not as clean as one would hope upon our check in and there was only one bath towel provided in the room that was booked for two. We had to beg housekeeping for a second bath towel that they did not want to give us.

Fruit juice missing at breakfast an other choices than bagels every day. Hotel not croded at this time of the year but is very quickly noisy when next rooms are occupied. Carpet should absolutly be changed in corridors.
