The staff was excellent - Tyrick ?, Adjoa ? - all of them were very friendly and very helpful. The room was nice; the view was nice; I loved the fact that hot chocolate was available until late hours!!! I liked that there were many places to eat and shop for snacks, etc. in walking distance of the hotel.

I did not like the provided paid parking. I don't think the provided parking should have been charged. It was basically parking on the enlarged sidewalk. One problem is oversized vehicles parking where it's difficult, not impossible, drive between the oversized vehicle and the small planted trees! You really have to be careful not to hit any pedestrians legally walking on the sidewalk - especially when there is snow!!! When I first turned on the street and saw all the trash, I was really disappointed and wondered what had I gotten myself into. But once inside the hotel, my feelings changed. There were no incidents when walking to the eateries - it's just the TRASH on the sidewalk!! I really don't think I, or anyone else, should be charged for parking!!

The place is very close to the train station (Union St) and near 5th Avenue where there are many restaurant options. From the moment we checked in, all the staff were very friendly, especially Daniel, who recommended nearby places to eat, the route to take the train to different destinations. Very comfortable rooms to rest, very clean, closet to organize clothes and with everything necessary for the kitchen (kitchen utensils, plates, glasses and equipment). Varied American breakfast included in our stay and solved times when we wanted to have a quick breakfast to make the most of the day. The use of laundry was also a must since it solved a lot for us since there was no laundry extremely close. On rainy days they were very kind and provided us with umbrellas. 100% recommended the hotel in all aspects. (Cleanliness, service, location).

Complementary breakfast was pretty good, room was clean and quiet, the hotel has a great location -- Park Slope is an amazing neighborhood and the hotel is absurdly next to the Union St. subway station. When you get in your room, you can relax. When you get out of it, you can just enjoy this amazing city.

The payment process is way overcomplicated. They don't accept Apple/Google Pay (and don't give any heads-up about it) and instead of charging once (at check-in) or twice (also at check-out), the hotel keeps charging your credit card throughout your stay, which is concerning and annoying. Let's hope they want to fix that.

Excellent staff at all levels. Very good quality breakfast with variation from day to day. Located in good area of Brooklyn with excellent restaurants nearby. Microwave and refrigerator in room very useful.

There is a vacant building next store with trash all around it. Subway stop nearby but not always on main route requiring transfers. There was an error in our booking as we were double charged. However the manger was very responsive to this error and it was corrected exactly as he explained to us

If you are not bothered about staying in the heart of NYC then this hotel is fine. We have been to NYC a few times, so decided to stay in a different area for a change. The hotel has a metro (Union Station) only a 5 mins walk away with quick easy access to all areas of the city. At only $2.90 a trip it was a good way of exploring - we visited Coney Island whilst at this hotel.

Worked out well with my handicapped mother. Roll in shower was perfect. But lack of safety rails closer to the toilet and on both sides were an issue for her. She almost fell off the toilet at one point. I always bring a commode with us for night time use. The bed was just the right height for her to get onto and out by herself. I have had to remove box springs or legs in many hotels for my mother because she is 5' and one side of her body is very weak from a stroke 20 years ago (I always return the bed to its original state, sometimes with the help of maintenance. Cots are too low and soft for her to get of in the middle of the night by herself.).

The breakfast was fresh. The location, near Barclay Center, was perfect. The front desk staff was very helpful in picking a restaurant.

The lights in the room were minimal. It was a little too dark entering the room and the light switches by the door didn't turn anything on.

The staff. Joy the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and she made us feel right at home. She was very knowledgeable and gave us clear directions about the facility and the area

The breakfast was very plain. The rooms were not cleaned every day. We had to go down for towels each day. Parking was impossible

Staff was very helpful. Morning breakfast was in a nice large clean area. Well stocked hot breakfast. Staff was very attentive in replenishing and cleanup. Sleeping rooms were clean, large and uptodate, Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient.
