It was a great location right next to the R line that takes you to Manhattan, and the neighborhood was safe too. The check in and check out process was smooth too. The room was also cozy and well-equipped.

It might have been disclosed upon booking but there was no cleaning included during the 6 nights we were there. The shower head was very dirty. The drain wasn’t draining properly.

The entrance was not very appealing but the room was nice! In most Hotels it is the other way round!

I really liked the comfortable bed and the spacious room, which had plenty of storage and beautiful art work. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, which made the stay feel welcoming. I also appreciated the location — it was a great base for exploring the Brooklyn area and made getting around very easy.

The bathroom was disappointing, as it didn’t look like any of the photos shown on the website. It appeared old and outdated, especially compared to the bedroom, which was modern and well-kept. The placement of the bed directly in front of the window was fine when the surrounding rooms were empty, but it felt uncomfortable when other guests were around, as they could easily see into the room — which definitely impacted the sense of privacy.

The beds were comfy., the rooms were really cute. I had privacy, nice tv, lots of food places. train station across the street.

The manger who was a black women was nice at first but then gave me attitude towards the end. She was rolling her eyes and told me she would give me a refund but never did. The black front desk male, young tall guy was rude too’ he was rolling his eyes at me looking me up and down. These two weren’t very accommodating at all. when I was leaving they look at me and didn’t even say thank you for staying, just riled their eyes. Lilly and the other young lady at the front desk however were extremely sweet and accommodating.

We LOVED the location. The room was very comfortable, plenty of room for two people with large packs and extra gear each. It is just a short walk away from 5th and 6th Avenue, both of which have fabulous food and shops, including a cheap laundromat (yay!). The staff were lovely and very helpful - in fact the whole experience was easy and very pleasant. Great value for money, if I'm staying in Brooklyn again this will be my first choice.

If we were in between rooms it may have been a bit noisy as the walls were a bit thin, but it didn't matter for us.

This was the cheapest option we could find, when searching for hotels, and with a hotel minimal modern feel. Was very accurate with the pictures we saw. Even tho is in Brooklyn, is super near to the metro, and has everything you need, like supermarkets and restaurants. All the staff are really nice people, and super helpfull all the time. It is a wonderful option for a couple.

I was mentally prepared, after reading some comments about the bathroom situation, of being small and the shower not being very isolated. So every time we took a shower, we ended up with a bathroom full of water, even tho we were extremely careful with water pressure and stuff. I think they need to renovate that area because is quite uncomfortable. Other thing is the rooms didn't have like private kettles. Every time you needed hot water for a tea you need to leave the room and go to common area to do so.

I live in England at present and flew to New York to spend a week meeting family and friends. The location of the hotel was excellent -- just a short distance from a subway station and across from a wonderful coffee house and a pub. The facilities were basic but everything I needed was provided and of very good quality. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Their friendliness made me feel right at home.

I can't think of anything I didn't like -- that is, apart from the construction work going on the building next door, but that couldn't be helped and, in any case, presumably it will be finished soon.

Good location, easy access into the city and affordable.

Building works happening next to our room, so meant we were often woken up early.

I loved the location and industrial feel.

The description of this room was misleading. When the reservation said "double bed" that typically means two beds. However upon arrival, it was one full bed. They were able to give us a queen but I was traveling with a work friend, not partner so having to sleep in one bed was not the plan. Also the images make the lobby look a lot more spacious and vibrant with natural light but it was actually very dark.
