The location and parking.

The room wasn't ready. Check it time. Nets were flying around in the lobby area. Where the chairs where's. The room was fine, and the beds were okay. Food could have been cooked better, especially the meat. Check out went well. The staff didn't speak to the customer once they entered the lobby. Or acknowledge the guest who was waiting for help. At least speak to us so we will feel welcome. That's great customer service. I didn't take photos. I did a video to show that no damages occurred for my record.

Overall a good stay however free wifi was not experienced for the 2 nights. It kept cutting off in my hotel room. Pls work on that.

It was a nice hotel compared to the one I usually stay at on Broadway, but I’m able to walk around and stay out late at the one on Broadway, which I couldn’t really do at the Comfort Inn. If you Uber in and out or drive, it’s perfectly safe. I even rode the bus on some days and had no issues, and it was during the daytime. I always had uber rides if it’s late. I was initially worried about the facility because it’s in the Bronx, but it’s actually not near the rough area. It’s kind of by itself near the entrance, which was good. It was clean, and the staff were friendly. There was easy access to Columbia University, which was the reason for my trip.

Over all I think it’s okay. I read some negative reviews but I had different experiences. For me it wasn’t bad compared to most hotels I stayed at.

We were bringing our Shift Commander to a Yankees game for his retirement gift. Was planning on staying in Manhattan but prices were off the charts. Read the reviews about this location found some of the humorous based on being in the Bronx. However the hotel was great and everyone that said very clean - very spacious were spot on. Staff very helpful. Parking was way better than I expected. For the cost this is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like. Walking to the subway is interesting but hey it’s the Bronx and I don’t mean that disrespectfully. Just need to know your environment. People were nice when we asked for directions.

Honestly everything was perfect for what i needed. Beds and pillows were comfortable! They have late check out which was perfect because we got in late . Breakfast till 10am . Clean! A.C & tv , micorwave and fridge, the basics. And it was close by to where I was going on my check out date. Also a deli/store on the same street very helpful.. A little loud outside but thats normal due to the area & traffic. Would definitely come back .

Parking was expensive. 40$ a night . So we parked near by on the street.

The room was luxurious, comfortable and spacious, and the hotel is clean and looks good and is very close to a mainline subway station.

Wi-Fi internet was weak and kept disconnecting, and kept requiring me to re-enter the password up to several times a day on each device. Room entry card bricked several times, which required me to go down to reception and have it re-keyed, which was done without any verification, which felt unsafe to me. Water pressure was weak.

It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The king suite was spacious, and the microwave and frig in the room was a plus. Several stores, including dollar tree and and Popeyes, are in walking distance. So was transportation bus and train. A cup of decaffinated coffee and muffins was a great way to start morning. Security was visible. I felt safe. Would definitely book again....when are the discounted rates

Close to subways, good deli stores, close to Yankee Stafium

Elevator was very slow, staff arranged taxi which turned out to not be a real taxi, and he showed up very late. We would have missed our flight except for an airport employee who wheeled my husband’s wheelchair thru many barriers to the front of the line. Also we were NOT told he only took cash, and we didn’t have enough to cover the ride until our grandson remembered he had some that helped.

Waffle stand at breakfast! Charming touches all over the place. I loved it, and seems like everyone there is into going above and beyond, so friendly and helpful. Super cozy and clean and would absolutely stay here again. Really great value. It’s not the fanciest place in the world, but I didn’t want for anything there.

A little bit more noise proofing around the doors might be nice. The elevator was slow to come sometimes.

My room was very noisy. I was facing the street and the window could be 100% closed. It was not sound proof either. on top of that, in the two mornings of my stay, the alarm went off because someone exited from the emergency stairs. After complaining, the front office said they could not hear of see anything. Just too bad to wake up with an alarm !
