Staff were helpful and very nice. Room was clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. From Jamaica Air train station to this hotel, it was an easy $12 Uber ride. This was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find in the JFK airport vicinity. My expectations were not high. I was very pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. I would use BW Jamaica Inn again.

Not an especially safe area for a female to be walking, apparently, as I was advised NOT to walk to my hotel. We (my granddaughter and I) did take an Uber. However, I never felt unsafe but I also chose not to leave the hotel room after I checked in that evening. There are several restaurants in the area that will deliver food to your door and we utilized that service. The shower was acceptable but nothing to get excited about... Is one of those shower heads that there's no water flowing from the center? It just flows out from the perimeter.

We chose this one because it was near JFK and had decent reviews. We weren't really expecting a lot, so were surprised to some extent. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling. TV was working just fine. We had a pretty good complimentary breakfast. For the price, it was definitely a good one. If we ever have to book a place near JFK, we will surely consider this one.

The only problem was the outside noise, as it is right beside an expressway and ours was a roadside room, we could hear trucks and cars all night. It didn't really bother me, but if you're a light sleeper, you could ask for a room which doesn't face the road.

Excellent customer service. Comfortable and very clean rooms, bathrooms and common areas of the hotel. All the hotel staff is very professional, friendly, helpful and willing to serve and help you during your stay. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am and they always have a very varied and complete menu that ranges from hot dishes, fruits and cereals, and again the staff in the dining area is always very friendly and willing to help you at all times, always attentive to replenish all the food stations when a product runs out. Excellent reception staff, very diligent and friendly at all times, as well as the cleaning staff, always attentive and keep the hotel very clean and neat. Excellent and safe parking area, and the hotel is very well located to visit New York either by car or public transportation. This Hotel is 100% recommended.

The room was clean and as advertised. It may not have been as big as hotel rooms elsewhere, but that's what you expect in New York. The breakfast was very decent, better than I expected. The hotel hotel in easy walking distance of the subway station and many shops and restaurants. For a room in the city, it was not loud at all. Multiple outlets and USB charging ports.

Parking lot was very tight for our family mini van, but hey, they have a parking lot! That's a bonus in NYC.

We had a 3-night family tour and eventually extended our stay for an additional night. The best part was that the E and F trains are very close to the hotel (within walking distance). We visited many places using the subway, including the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Jackson Heights, Coney Island, Roosevelt Island, and the One World Observatory. The hotel provided a good hot breakfast. Grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance or a $10 Uber fare. The staff were great, and the room was clean.

The only problem was the car noise at night because the highway is very close. Room price is not cheap.

Very nice, spacious, modern, clean room, comfortable bed. The hotel has parking and good breakfast. Good location for JFK, but of course, the whole area isn't that great. Yet, I felt safe, the parking was monitored cameras. Has a fridge, can't remember if microwave was there or not.

Prices in NYC are too high, should be lower. The room was in the basement, a bit of parking lot view. It was ok though for me, as the room was comfy.

Hello, When I booked the hotel through Booking, I was told that I should present the document showing that I am exempt from VAT upon arrival at the reception, and that I would not be charged VAT. I showed the document at check-in, but the receptionist refused to acknowledge it and charged me VAT anyway. I would like to request a refund for the VAT that was charged to me incorrectly. Breakfast was very good. However, I am used to having breakfast included in the room rate. So did probably AA, because they did not give me any breakfast voucher,

When I checked in at 4 am (due to flight cancellation), I had a hotel voucher from AA, but I was still required to deposit $50 for my room before check-in could be completed. Your systems did not work, and it caused one of my credit cards to be locked because of many similar credit card transactions. Check-in took a long time becuse of these problems, and I really wanted just to go to sleep. Once I was checking out, you tried to make me pay for the room again, even though I had given you the voucher when checkin in. That payment and its cancellation were also visible to my bank and caused my banck to contact me for possible problem with my other card also. Luckily for me, all this happened at the very end of trip, and I was basck home to take care of the banking problems.
