There are no refrigerators in the rooms. I had perisible food like cheese. So I asked the reception if they could keep the food in a refrigerator, they did it without hassle. Good point. The shuttle service was good. Room was large with a single and a double bed. I guess the room we stayed was specially designed for disabled guestes, therefore the washbasin and shower was arranged for that purpose. The windows could be opened for fresh air - I have stayed at an airport hotel that you couldn’t open. They were double framed for quietness, which worked very well.

I expect a better breakfast, specially if you are in Lyon.

Clean neat and basic hotel for staying the night near the airport. Staff were helpful and suggested options to accomodate my needs.

Getting off a 16 hour flight late at night with no phone service and no-one at the airport late at night to help, made it extremely difficult to contact the the hotel to pick me up via the shuttle service. The hotel was a relatively short walk away, but trying to negotiate that late at night with 2 suitcases nearing 11.30pm would not be easy and I was unsure how safe that would be for a single female. I think a better process could be in place for people in that situation.

Great Breakfast in the morning, fresh clean rooms, lovely staff to greet you upon check in, that spoke English.

We could not get the free shuttle from the airport easily, we ended up catching a taxi to the Ibis as it was easier than instructions provided by the hotel. The signs for the shuttle were in French and not in English at point to catch shuttle as per instructions, If you do not have travel pack on your phone you won’t be able to call hotel to get the shuttle. Airport staff did not help at all or try calling for us although we asked. No eateries near hotel - just vending machines and expensive buffet meal which there was three price point choices.

We arrived hot and tired and were treated by friendly staff and free coffee/juice and chocolate croissants. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good facilities. The beds were comfortable and rooms fine except for the strange public shower in the room which meant you had to shower/dress in front of others sharing a room so if travelling with friends etc would be very uncomfortable. A hairdryer would be helpful too.

The food at the restaurant was terrible. I ordered a Caesar salad that was a bowl of old iceberg lettuce and fake croutons with cold frozen crumbed chicken that was inedible. The nuggets the kids got were disgusting, were not eaten and kids burgers served raw. Unfortunately there is not other food options nearby. If we didn’t eat there I’d have given the hotel 5 stars as it was very good value and super convenient.

Everything was perfect and huge, the cost is definitely worth it. It's perfect if you arrive late or if your flight is the next day, the airport it's 15 min away if you walk but it's not necessary since the hotel has free transportation to Terminal 1 & 2 and they ask you beforehand if you require it. If you don't speak french very well, the staff is well prepared they speak french (obviously), English and Spanish but don't forget to greet them in their own language and be polite, all of them will treat you well. There's free beverages at the lobby (coffee, juice and water). Merci ibis hotel ♥️

It's a little far away from the center of the city but everything is well connected, you can find a bus stop near by

It was difficult to find from the train station by foot because it is on busy airport road with little pedestrian access but we rang the hotel after falling to find it and they told us to walk to terminal and take the shuttle bus which was a relief on a very hot day as taxi will not bring you to a destination within the airport (we asked drivers)

Great distance from terminal 2. Reception was really friendly. And I did really enjoy fine supper for 22,5 € all you can eat. Great beer btw.

Welp. It is what it is. Small room on one key card. My wife slept in a room while I was searching the surroundings for our early flight next day. And I had to call her and wake her up for the entry, lift and room. Maybe two cards for each person would be more practical.

So close to the airport yet so quiet. They got free shuttle to and from airport, which took around 4-5 minutes to arrive at the terminal 1. Rooms were big enough although the bathrooms are similar to sailing boat heads, yet clean and serves the purpose.

Although the front office staff helps you with perishable food, it would be very helpfull to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Reliable free shuttle bus - on the way back driver was very helpful and dropped us off at our onward transport link outside the airport meeting point. Good choice for breakfast.

Only one room access card for both of us, also needed to operate the lift.This made leaving the room separately difficult as the card was needed to activate the lights in the room.

Free shuttle to and from the airport. Perfect for a over night stay after a late flight in and early train out the next day at a very budget rate. Breakfast was decently priced and offering was good. Complimentry coffee at the reception and they had a filtered water tap there too for filling our bottles.

Pillows were uncomfortable and only 2 pillows on a double.
