We loved the hotel but our reception on arrival was not great . The score for staff is totally for Megan she is a star. as you cannot take dogs Into the restaurant witch is totally fine she was the only person who explained all about the hotel and explained that there was room service but we could order of the room service menu but have it in the bar. Which we did and it was delicious. She also explained that there is a park and ride bus into Lyon and it may be easier than trying to park so thank you Megan for helping making our stay at this lovely hotel special.

Our Welcome

This hotel was lovely! We picked it because we couldn't drive into Lyon without a Crit'Air Vignette, so this was a great way to avoid any problems. It's tucked away in a peaceful suburban village up on a hill, so you get a nice view too. It's so chill and relaxing there, a great spot to kick back after a busy day exploring Lyon. The rooms are spacious, clean, and super comfy—I slept really well! The hotel restaurant had really good food, we loved it. Getting into Lyon is a breeze too, with a bus stop just a short stroll away. For those staying two days or more, I highly recommend grabbing the Lyon City Pass, as it includes the bus tickets and admission to numerous museums and city tours. If I return to Lyon, I will undoubtedly choose to stay here again. It offered a lovely change from the typical city trip experience.

The room was really spacious and comfortable. Very clean also. I had a very nice view and the shutters are great. I recommend this place for a short stay.

I wasn't aware of a paid wifi but the free one was really slow. I also was not aware the restaurant was not open on sunday night. I think it should be. went into town to get some food and everything was closed.

I’ve stayed here many times on my way to Spain. The staff are always super friendly. Really welcoming. The hotel is also very quiet. Prefect for a good night sleep. Secure parking is also great so I don’t need to unpack the car.

The rooms are a bit basic but perfect for an overnight stop. This is a very minor issue and hardly worth mentioning for an overnighter.

The reception, the room and the place itself. Sadly I only stayed one night, but the hotel is around 5-10 minutes from the city center, so you can easily visit something. The fact that dogs can stay is the only reason I'm writing this review. I payed 12€ as an extra for the dog, which in my opinion is totally reasonable, given that the room has to be cleaned more thoroughly. Also, only 70 euros for one night and person, given the location, is a very reasonable price.

So far nothing disappointed

The location is awesome, it's very nice and has a marvelous view. And the history of the place itself is amazing. The dinner was good and tasty, moreover, the price was reasonable. Recommend it.

The shower is like on a train, not much comfort. The beds are quite firm.

Magnificent grounds - just like it looks in the picture. But well in Lyon - €15 Uber to downtown. We wanted to avoid driving downtown - parking expensive in toen also - and there was a huge and secure car park at the hotel. Restaurant, though lacking in atmosphere, served good food. Staff very helpful.

Our room (and I suspect all of them) had a modular bathroom with a sliding door and a movement sensitive light which stays on for five minutes. The net result was that when one of us got up for the bathroom at night the other was inevitably woken up - which made for a disturbed couple of nights. The bar is a bit bleak.

We wanted a quiet place for an overnight stay on our long roadtrip over Europe. And we got so much more! We got warm, charming staff serving drinks past the bar closure time, we got a roe-deer quietly welcoming us under the hotel window, we got serenity where we did not expect it, we got an art exhibition in the coridors of the hotel, we got a lovely little morning walk with a view across the hils, we got to meet happy people with happy dogs (absolutely pet friendly!)

The staff were very chatty and friendly. The receptionist gave me a great recommendation for a vegan restaurant close by.

It's a shame there aren't any USB chargers in the rooms, but this really wasn't a big problem. Overall it was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable.

The location was perfect for us as it was near family. The grounds are stunning.

Front desk was efficient but acted aloof . The hallways were a little creepy as you turned down them in the dark before the sensors picked you up and turned on the lights.
