Comfy bed, friendly helpful staff. Small kitchen has most things you need, good hot water. Walkable from the train station ,not in a touristy area but handy for trams and the interesting Les Halles de Lyons food market. The room was nice and quiet whilst we were there.

It was more like a.hotel room with a small kitchen galley added rather than the apartment , which we were expecting, but that could just be us not fully understanding the description.

Location. First, the location is very good. Located very close to the city centre in a pedestrian area. The Room The room was very nice, spacious, and quiet. It must be said that the hotel is located in a pedestrian area, and therefore I assume that you will find quiet in all rooms. The room also had a small kitchen with all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, etc.). A coffee machine and a kettle are also available in the room, but you need to bring your own tea and coffee. We had a twin bedroom. The beds were large enough, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but we had a fan. This was okay for June, but I expect that during very warm summer days (and nights), this would not be sufficient. For instance, despite our fan, we had to keep the window open overnight. There is a TV in the room that we never used, but what is more important is the Wi-Fi, which was very good and fast. You can easily stream any Netflix or Amazon Prime video without any problems. The rendering is very fluid. Everything was provided, including towels and shower gel. I know all this is quite obvious, but I have been in hotels where it is not as obvious. Breakfast Breakfast was ok. You can have a basic continental or British breakfast. Parking Being in Lyon you don’t need a car. Therefore, it is important to find a parking space for your car. Parking around the hotel is very expensive. You should expect to pay around 40 EUR per 24 h. The hotel offers a parking space for 16 EUR per day. This is a bargain. However, the flip side is that parking is very narrow and because of that, if you have an SUV or a long car, its access requires special skills to enter and especially leave the parking. It is so narrow that you may damage your tires and/or rims. If you have a long limousine, for instance, or an oversized SUV, my recommendation would be to look for an alternative place to park.

I recommend this hotel, but bear in mind the following two points: 1) If you plan to travel on hot summer days, there is no air conditioning and because of that, you might not have a good night of sleep. 2) If your car is long or oversized, look for another parking area. It is worth paying a little more and keeping your car unscratched.

Appartment as expected of Citadines, was very comfy and had all you need for full self catering experience. If you are a foodie the apartment is a 1 minute walk from the fabulous Paul Bocuse Food hall, too delectable to miss. This place is foodlie heaven and so is Lyon overall. Food hall open from 7am until around 10 at night, so there is always a wonderful selection of food for a meal. As we were travelling by car we also had parking for our vehicle, although there is a charge for this.

Nothing to dislike

Great location close to train station, with an easy walk to town centre along a main thoroughfare; though a little way away it's a nice stroll though there is public transport option. The massive Westfield shopping centre complex is just across from the station and there's a big supermarket. The room was quite spacious, with a well fitted out kitchenette. Bed was huge and comfortable, great pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Secure property. Great supply of hot water which doesn't run out and wi fi connection is stable. A great stay!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was okay with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The 24hr coffee machine in the lobby.

The room was in need of some maintenance. There was a kettle in the room, but no tea or coffee supplied, and even though you could get coffee in the lobby, you could not get any tea as this was only available at breakfast. Also, there was not enough toilet paper supplied for our entire stay. The laundrette at the property is not run by the property and was very hard to use and expensive.

The room had a bath, which was a great surprise! I liked the kitchen which had a dishwasher, hob, microwave and fridge - all the basic kitchen appliances and cookware were provided. I felt the bedroom was spacious and had all I needed for a short stay. Free tea and coffee was available 24/7 in reception.

The toilet is separate from the bathroom with no hand washing basin. I didn't find the shower over the bath very powerful, but I was very happy to have a bath tub!

Very comfortable big bed. Quality bedding. Doors open onto small terrace. Great location - Les Halles Lyon is an amazing huge market. Galleries Lafayette not far. Train station Part Dieu is a 15 minute walk through a huge shopping centre. Other public transport. Lots of nail salons in Cours Lafayette round the corner. Quiet.

Furnishings could use an upgrade. Water pressure in bathroom very weak. A lot of construction in the area - not looking great.

Good location close to the railway station and shopping center with supermarket. The room is clean with all amenities that may be needed including kitchenette. It was quiet in the room, very good overall impression. Free coffee is available on the ground floor. Breakfast is available at additional price, we haven't ordered.

The hotel itself is good for this price however the location is far from historical city center. Entrance door is usually closed so you may need to attract receptionist attention somehow when you arrived for check in.

Hotel is a short walk from the train station and Westfield shopping centre which has everything you will ever need. Hotel is away from tourist areas which we didn't mind. Lyon is a very walkable city. The hotel is older but ok, everything works. Bed is large, a king size. In a quiet area as hotel faces a pedestrian mall.
