Good location for those visiting Montmarte and/or Moulin Rouge. Close to metro for all other Paris destinations. Staff were friendly and very accommodating and were able to get our room ready a couple hours early. The room had a small but usable balcony which was nice.

A little dark and dingy in the hallway. Vacuum cleaner, dirty laundry and trash left out in the hallway and stayed there for 24 hours, we had to pass it every time we went to and from our room. See picture. Also one of the staff entered our room without knocking at one point, thinking it was a vacant room. Could have been embarrassing. All is forgiven, we still had a great time in Paris.

Situated on Rue Lepic which can be followed up the hill to Sacre Coeur, my main attraction to Hotel 29 Lepic was its excellent location. Explore Montmartre to your heart's content every day of your visit to Paris or travel to other arrondissements via the nearby Blanche or Abbesses Metro lines. Rue Lepic is a lively street full of activity even after dark which made it very comforting to return to every evening. There are several excellent places to indulge in delicious desserts on this very street such as A la Mere de Famille or Aux Merveilleux de Fred and Amelie's Cafe des Deux Moulins is also there for admirers of the film. My room was comfortable and charming and I enjoyed excellent chamber service which kept my room clean and replenished. The staff were courteous and helpful and always greeted me warmly. This hotel also has an elevator which I know will be a bonus to many travelers especially if your room is on the 5th floor. I really loved my stay here. I would happily revisit Hotel 29 Lepic on my next trip to Paris (pray that it be soon) and I confidently recommend it to fellow travelers looking to experience the best of Paris.

The Hotel 29 Lepic is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Montmartre. It is situated between the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur, and the Blanche metro station offers quick and easy access to the rest of Paris. The neighborhood is full of charming cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and small supermarkets - everything you need is right around the corner. Despite its lively location, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. My room was small but well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious fridge for snacks and some food. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming hotel in Paris, this is a great choice - I’d happily stay here again!

The only minor downside was that the toilet was positioned very tightly in the corner of the bathroom, making it a bit uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the shower water was occasionally a bit cold, likely when many guests were using it at the same time. However, this was nothing too bothersome and didn’t affect my overall positive experience.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! Being in Paris, I was expecting a very small room, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect size for us travelling for a long weekend as a couple. The hotel is in a really great location. So many cafes and restaurants around. Our favourite coffee shop was just opposite the hotel serving tasty coffee and amazing pastries. We went to see Moulin Rouge and with that finishing late, it was so nice to just walk a few minutes and get to the hotel instead of trying to catch a taxi or public transport. All the beautiful Montmartre sights are just a short walk away too. Plus, one of the main metro stations is a couple of minutes away so can catch the metro to all the big sights. Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely come back!

The floors were very squeaky!

Location/Room was very good in probably the best area of Paris

The bar attached to the hotel has a problem with people over a certain age (over 40s), you could say they were 'Ageist' as when we went in for a drink the girl who was behind the bar told us 'we are fully booked up', (which wasn't the case) She just didn't want to serve us as we were somewhat older than the rest of the people in the bar. Due to this we didn't bother having Breakfast at the hotel

Perfect location for an evening at the Moulin Rouge and exploring Montmartre. Our room was on the top floor and we had a balcony which was warm and sunny in the morning with a fantastic roof top view over Paris. We had breakfast there from a little bakery on the corner

We chose the hotel because it had a little bar. It was closed on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday was reserved for a private function. However this forced us for an evening walk around the area and there were multiple bars within a few hundred metres

Amazing location in the heart of Montmartre on a street packed with cool little shops and restaurants. Close to Metros Blanche and Abbessess. Staff were super friendly and helpful especially the guy on nights. Paris hotel rooms are smaller than other cities but I feel like mine was one of the best in the hotel with windows opening to the street below and a balcony.

Noisy bar underneath is open til 2am on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays.

Hotel very central in Montmartre and - which is rare - very quiet. What really blew me away, was the friendliness of all staff and that explicitly includes the cleaners and the night staff. We were staying with our very elderly golden retriever who has to pee pretty much every three or four hours at night and the night staff always were so friendly, helped him back on his legs if needed, gave cuddles and smiled. So rare to find this and so SO appreciated. I am not sure whether our four legged darling will be able to return to Paris, but if so: this hotel again! And if it's only the two of us: yes, again as well this hotel. Thank you so much!

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's 5 mins walk from a metro station and lots of nice shops and cafes in the street right outside. You can walk to the square at the centre of Montmartre in 15 minutes and there are great restaurants even closer. We loved the small balcony with table and chairs although it wasn't warm enough to sit outside in January. The room was nicely and simply decorated and warm.

The room was very small. The breakfast wasn't included and was very expensive so we didn't try it.

The hotel is in a great part of the city, literally just between Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge. (On the minus side, Rue Pigalle, a few short blocks away, is basically Sex Shop Street, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, perhaps this isn't the locale for you.) Lots of wonderful cafes and bistros around the area. The hotel has an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, but the selection isn't great. There's even a Five Guys nearby if Americans are yearning for fast food.

The room I was in was very small, with little storage space and poor lighting in the bathroom. Plus one of those ubiquitous half-doors in the shower meant that the floor was always going to get wet and so one of my towels was going to dry that up--I constantly had to ask for extra towels. It would be so easy to put in some shelving in the bathroom, and better lighting, and then this room would be much more convenient.
