My wife and I traveled to Paris to attend a concert and enjoy two days in this beautiful city, and the WYLD Saint Germain Hotel was a perfect choice. Its location was perfect for us, close to metro stations, so we could easily arrange our tours in the city. The area around was full of great restaurants, so you had plenty of them to choose from. The staff was very polite and ready to help and assist you. The room was clean and equipped as described.

In general, everything was OK, and the only thing I may mention here is the size of the room, which I believe is everywhere in Paris and is more a cultural thing :-)

Very friendly and hospitable receptionist Melanie. Brought a joy to our stay. Comfortable room temperature. Nice colorful interior especially the shower tiles. Abundance of towels and other toiletries. Good lightning in the room. We had much pleasure from our Smart TV with its many streaming apps. Nice selection of food and drinks at the included breakfast we booked. Was presented very well and the staff there was always friendly. The shower head had multiple settings which came in handy. We loved that we had 2 pillows per person. Location was walking distance from the centre. The sidewalks are smoothly paved which was great for riding around our suitcases. Supermarkets closeby. We got hotel slippers which were very comfy. A easy-to-use safe for stashing valuable items. More than enough space in the wardrobe.

The sink was was awkwardly placed and thus it was hard to wash your face without bumping into anything. Clunky elevator which felt like it could fall apart any minute. Unfortunately as always some of the cleaning staff doesn't speak English but that's more our problem than the hotel's.

I stayed at the Wyld one night, left the city, and then returned for a two-night stay later that week. I left my glasses in the room on the first leg of my trip. I called the hotel and spoke with Melanie. Not only did she check to see if housekeeping had found them, she followed up with a confirmation email to me. I picked up my glasses at reception during my second stay. I really appreciated Melanie and the staff's attention and consideration. Also, the facility was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel has zero soundproofing. I heard every movement in the hallway and on the street, even with the window closed. Earplugs helped. The breakfast, though varied, could stand some improvement. The eggs were lukewarm.

Location was excellent, we were there for the opening of Notre Dame and the hotel is only a few blocks away, located in the left bank/Latin quarter/Sorbonne. They have breakfast for 13.5 Euros which had a selection of breads, croissants, meats, cheese, fruits, etc. The room was clean with a small balcony, the bed was very comfortable, TV and Wi-Fi in the room. Nice modern bathroom and shower. The staff was extremely helpful.

As with most european hotels, the room is on the small side, barely enough room for the king size bed a small desk and ‘closet’. The elevator, while modern could use some work, in the decor and the smoothness of the ride, especially the stops, very jerky.

Hotel WYLD is very well located for exploring Paris, very near the Panthéon and Jardins de Luxembourg, and only a 10/15 minute walk from Notre Dame. It is on the left bank, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the local restaurants are good and a bit cheaper than in the more obvious tourist areas. The area is relatively quiet and feels perfectly safe. There are plenty of buses locally and a metro station (Maubert Mutualité) 150m away. The hotel itself is well appointed and has all the basic amenities required. Staff were helpful and our room was a decent size and very clean. We didn't have breakfast there so can't say what that's like. There are, however, three bistros on the same block which all do a good continental breakfast for about €10. I definitely recommend this hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like

Good location, nice staff, comfortable, clean room with a towel heater in the bathroom, in-room safe, house slippers. We were able to check in early for $20. They have an awesome coffee machine in the breakfast area that makes several different coffee drinks and hot chocolate and it’s free to use after 11 am. We had hot chocolate every night before bed. :)

No peephole in the room door. No do not disturb sign. The elevator is slow and shakes/jerks before stopping.

First, you cannot beat the location: It's in the 5th arrondissement of Paris's Left Bank. Many attractions are within a light walk, a 20-minute bus trip, or a Metro ride with a connection. Second, the rooms are spacious and comfortable for our party. The breakfast is filling and we always appreciate that we can help ourselves to a pick-me-up coffee until late in the evening. Marie, one of the staff, was wonderful: She patiently answered our questions, offered help with directions, and was pleasant through and through.

The hotel was installing new carpeting during our stay, and for a few hours during the day, there was noise and the smell of glue (or whatever adhesive they used). However, we were out and about for most of the time, so we were not bothered much.

I liked the hotel, it is great for a short stay. Excellent location, close to all attractions, spacious room, wide bed, wardrobe with mini-safe, a balcony. Good service, the administrator Issa is very friendly and answered all our questions. When making a reservation, an amount is debited from the bank card as confirmation of the reservation, but upon check-in you still need to pay the same amount. Frozen funds will be returned within a couple of weeks, but this should be kept in mind when checking in.

It is very strange that there is no door to the bathroom, and the wall separating the shower from the room is made of glass. Despite the fact that the glass is tinted, when the light is on, a person taking a shower can be clearly seen. This is really weird. The elevator goes up to the fifth floor. Our room was number six and we had to carry heavy suitcases up the circular staircase. I would like to know about such nuances in advance.

Friendly, polite and really helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is being refurbished on our floor but that didn’t cause us any problems. We had a new mattress and the bed linen was clean. The towels were clean but probably could be replaced. The location is great. There is no bar at the hotel but plenty of places locally. There is tea and coffee available for free in the breakfast room which you can use all day. There is a lift which isn’t always the case in Parisienne hotels. We would stay there again.

Not much apart from the towels which although clean need replacement.

Staff were lovely and helpful, bed was comfy, had enough space for us. Hearing how small the rooms are in Paris ours had a table and chair, big wardrobe and most importantly no carpet, after hearing about bedbug epidemic in Paris l was a bit scared but all was good

Being on the main road was a bit noisy and we were there the weekend of opening Notre Dame so sirens were 24 hrs going, l think l would want a room looking the other way next time.
