We enjoyed our short stay at Ibis Cadet Lafayette. The double room, though very small (barely any place to open a suitcase), was clean and functional by European standards. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, very close to where we wanted to be (shopping, restaurants, metro) and in a quiet street of the city center. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful breakfast buffet: fresh baguette, croissants, pains au chocolat, toasts, yoghurt, hams, cheeses, jams, beverages (hot and cold), fresh fruits, and we could even squeeze our own juice and boil eggs ourselves! Staff are what makes this hotel special - friendly yet professional, and very accommodating to our needs.

Rooms are very small.

The location is amazing – right next to the train station and within walking distance of the main city sights. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby. The room itself is beautifully renovated and thoughtfully designed. It's small but very functional, with storage, a foldable chair and table for work, a great TV, and a lovely balcony with a nice view. I would happily stay here again.

My only comment would be... I would love to have a kettle in the room. I love to have plenty of teas and hot drinks. Going downstairs all the time isn't ideal. I think a tiny kettle stored away in the bedside table would be great.

Good Hotel, great location. Compared to standard rooms in Paris, this one is spacious, clean and cosy. And it is very close to the metro. We enjoyed our stay. So overall it's worth the money and it is recommended.

Breakfast was a bit small, but the biggest issue was that you'd had to boil your own egg and it took quite some time. There were people left their eggs in the boiler for too long which only had the capacity of 8 eggs to boil at the same time. So it was usually full and you'd have to wait for someone to take out their egg to put in yours. I'd never had to go through so much trouble for a boiled egg. Why not just serve boiled eggs like every other standard Hotel?

I liked everything about the hotel. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable, the area is very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from the neighboring rooms, which contributed to a good sleep. The breakfast had everything you need - hot drinks (coffee, milk, tea), fruits, eggs, cheeses, croissants, brioche, pancakes, jam, a fresh juice machine. Аccess to the coffee machine and other hot drinks аlmost all day, as well as the water machine. The staff is very friendly. Thank you all for making our stay really pleasant.

I stayed with my boyfriend for 2 nights. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Super helpful with directions and recommendations event printing us off instructions for transport. It’s only a 20-25 mins on foot to momarte, and very close to tram to get to the other tourist places. Very clean hotel and comfortable beds. The free water, coffee and hot choc was a lovely touch also. Rooms small but do the job with a city break and I’d say a good size for a budget hotel. Presently suprised how big the bed was! Would definitely recommend and come back!

Great location on a quaint Parisian street; very quiet ! Convenient for La Gare Nord and Eurostar travel. Lovely friendly staff, esp Marion who looked after us very well indeed. Thank you very much! We are struggling to complain to be honest ! Maybe a second egg poacher when busy .....if im pushed to put something !!

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It is in a fabulous position. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is delicious. Great to have the water and coffee free, and available at all times. Rooms are perfectly clean and very comfortable.

Our room didn't have a view, and our bathroom was very small (room 41). It was also right next to the lift so was noisy at times. Our children's room faced the street and had a balcony with a beautiful view and a much bigger bathroom (room 59).

Loved the location close to transport and tourist places like sacre coeur and monte martre. Hotel staff were very helpful. Coffee and water available in area downstairs most of the day

The room was small and didnt allow for luggage stands or shelving. Had problems with shower drain but was attended to promptly by staff.

The hotel was good value for money. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable, and the decorations very modern. The breakfast was also of very good quality for the price. There was free water and coffee at the reception. The location was perfect!

The rooms were very small, which was expected. There was no toilet brush in the toilet. The room became extremely hot during the night, I was not sure if there was continuous ventilation.

Free tea and coffee and a variety of water available in the foyer throughout the day. This is a brilliant touch and saves guests great amounts of money.

Being shushed by one of the (older) managers when I approached him to pay a bill he had previously reminded me of. VERY rude. They let you sit and work in the breakfast room, but in return you have to bear such musical dross as Ed Sheeran and Beyonce, which they're pumping out through the sound system they have there. Yuk.
