Booking a time for the gym was a little inconvenient if you didn’t get the time You needed.

we stayed almost a week and honestly, we loved everything. the mama team was super nice, the hotel is very well decorated and in a great condition. The bedroom was quiet, and always very well cleaned by the super nice housekeepers. great stay, I highly recommend. I loved how easy it was to get to the center of Roma by metro. 2 minutes walk to the station and 4 stations. and you can walk to Vatican, so even better. also, we arrived 2 hours before check in and without telling them prior and the super lovely staff gave us access to our room still :-)

We did not like the moment we had to leave because we wanted to stay more :-). honestly it was a great stay. a massive thank you to the mama team <3

The decor was great, staff were super friendly and kind, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also close to the metro which was nice. I enjoyed the roof and the sauna was great too. Breakfast was fantastic!

I think the only challenge we had was that the room cleaning happened late in the day so if we came back to the hotel late afternoon before dinner we'd not get the room cleaned. It took is a couple days to figure this out and we sent a couple days without cleaning. Also while it's very close to the metro, it is far from all the sites. But it's very quiet area which is beneficial. Dinner was not as delicious as breakfast.

This property totally exceeded our expectations. We looked at a few other places which were more central and better reviewed but picked Mama Shelter because of the rooftop and funky vibes. We needn’t have worried, it was perfectly located right near the Metro station. We bought travel cards which enabled us to catch the Metro and bus easily from very close to the hotel. Having seen some of the reviews, we were a little nervous about the service, but we found the service to be exceptional- the best we had during our whole time in Italy. The breakfast was great, the room was massive (again, contrary to what we’d read in some reviews), and the staff made the stay great! The rooftop was definitely the highlight- we went there for drinks every night before hitting the city for dinner. Gorgeous views over the Vatican, lovely drinks, and amazing food.

Very little! Our only complaint was that the cleaners didn’t come until late in the afternoon. As it was so hot during our stay, we would often want to come back to the room for a siesta around that time which meant we sometimes had to miss the clean or go somewhere else while the room was being cleaned. However, this really wasn’t a massive problem. It would also have been great if there was an outdoor pool for the hot summer, but we enjoyed using the indoor facilities which were much bigger and nicer than the photos made it look.

Even though the hotel has a slightly eccentric style, the stay was pleasant, especially thanks to the excellent staff, from the front desk to the restaurant and pizzeria. We went for pizza on two nights, it was delicious, and the waitresses and waiters were very attentive and helpful. The room was okay, clean, and equipped with a TV with Chromecast and AirPlay. The location is perfect just 200 meters from the metro station, 10 minutes to St. Peter’s Basilica, and 20 minutes to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

The elevator walls and the curtain at the reception are covered with faces of famous Italian league and Squadra Azzurra players. Strangely, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Pavel Nedvěd are missing. Truly an abomination.

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were truly wonderful, very welcoming, and professional. From the front desk to the restaurant team at breakfast, the housekeeping staff, and even the technician, everyone made a great impression. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, good storage space, and well-functioning air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat of July in Rome. The location was also excellent, just a short 5-minute walk to both the metro and a bus station, which made it very easy to explore the city.

there were a few things I didn’t like during my stay. There was no kettle in the room to prepare tea or coffee, and even in the restaurant, you had to pay to get a cup. In many hotels, if there's no in-room kettle, at least there’s a self-service station in the lobby or restaurant. This was missing here. Also, the bathroom toiletries were quite minimal, and our towels were never changed throughout the entire stay, which was disappointing for a three-night visit.

Just out of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but on public transport lines so very easy to make it in to where you need to go. Very close to metro + bus stations. Absolutely beautiful place! Very clean. Room was fantastic and had a small fridge to use. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Didn’t get the chance to try out the roof top bar however did get in the pool! For some people I could imagine the water would be incredibly cold - not heated in any way. But was nice on a hot day. Buffet breakfast had lots on offer and was delicious. Loved the place! Already looking in to their other hotels elsewhere.

Have to book in for the pool/gym facilities through reception and only allowed a max of one hour per day. Makes it difficult if you’re unsure what time you’re going to be back at the hotel. A minor inconvenience but to be aware of.

This is an interesting hotel as it has some off the wall decorations that give it a unique feel. It's modern and clean. The hotel is not in the greatest neighborhood, but don't let that fool you as it's perfectly safe and it's in walking distance to Vatican City. The underground garage is open to the public, but it's not used much. I parked my motorcycle there for two days and didn't see but maybe 4 or five other cars. Breakfast is more than adequate but at 20 Euros it's a bit on the expensive side. You can get coffee and bread around the corner at much better price. The staff is great. Everyone from the reception desk to the restaurant, they're all young and in good spirits willing to assist.

This charming boutique hotel offers a unique experience with its distinctive amenities and furnishings, featuring a subtly "sexy" vibe that is more invigorating than off-putting. The breakfast is consistently excellent and conveniently available until 11 AM. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a soft and cozy sleep. The staff are exceptionally friendly and cheerful, creating a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. I had the pleasure of sharing a drink with the General Manager and the Food & Beverage Manager, who took great care of me. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near a metro station.

The hotel is located 190 meters from the metro Cipro, only 10 minutes to the center, very convenient. The hotel is beautifully decorated both outside and inside. The rooms are clean, comfortable, cleaned every day. Delicious breakfasts and hospitable staff. We were checked in even earlier, for which we were very grateful after a long journey. When we checked out at 2:00AM, stuff helped us call a taxi to airport and gave us water. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The only drawback, I would like to mention is the reservation deposit on a credit card, which cannot be replaced with cash. The deposit is not returned immediately after check-out. Deposit still hasn't been returned.
