Easy to find. Check in with a real person was nice. The room was big enough to store luggage and for 3 people to move around freely. The view was good. We were able to put our Netflix on the television which was great for my 11 year old. They did deliver towels daily and pick up your garbage. The beds had give no too hard. Close to train station, mall, and Lawsons.

No bed for my adult sized 11 year old. A tiny twin bed for two full sized plus adults was very snug and made for a long five days. You did have to pay extra to have your room cleaned. The room was pretty expensive for no room cleaning. You had to put your garbage and towels outside the door every morning.

This hotel was perfect for a 4 night stay with a friend in a twin room. The room was comfortable and had all we needed and we didnt feel cramped. It's position was fabulous ..just a 5 minute...if that ...flat walk to Kyoto railway station. Just a tip...if arriving make sure you come out the right side for the hotel ...check first. We difnt and went the long way round over railway bridge ...wasn't pleasant. . When we got to the hotel we realised the railway entrance was so close. Kyoto Railway station amazing...take the escalators way to the top...fir grear views.

The Onsen free to use for all guests was absolutely fantastic. A lot space, good water, great showers, and deszert (ice cream or milk). For anyone who can read Japanese there were manga books outside the onsen to read. The second amazing aspect was the free late night noodles (21:30-23:00). They were good quality, the chef friendly and the concept is clever, to get lonely salarymen out of their rooms to connect with each other.

The price for the breakfast felt a bit steep, as well as the price for the lounge in the evening. At least for someone traveling on a budget.

It came recommended and I would definitey recommend. Location is really convenient being 1 block from Kyoto Station, the area is clean and safe and well situated. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. There is an onsen & sauna on top floor, and free yummy evening snacks of ramen and ice cream. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the ramen was so good I'm sure the restaurant was too. Had a hour massage and it was excellent. Room was quiet, bed comfortable, and good shower pressure. Pajamas provided were comfy and used by everyone to go up to Spa and Sauna. There is also a terrific convenience store next door. We walked many places from here, like Toji Temple, the river walk, and to Gion. Kyoto is a very walkable city, and when needed public transport is cheap and easy.

It should be noted that there is english speaking staff, but only a few which was minorly inconvenient. That said the staff were lovely, and when needed we used Google translate.

The room was big by Japanese standards and super quiet! I was worried about being on a main road, but I heard nothing all night long. I also spent probably more time than I should have in the public baths/sauna. It was so nice! Plus who doesn’t love free ramen and ice cream? The location was literally across the street from Kyoto station. Just make sure you take the Underground East exit so you end up there and don’t do what I did and have to walk around the entire thing because you took the wrong exit. Was about 20 minutes walk to Nashiki Market and easy to get around to anywhere by bus. The pyjamas they provided were super comfy. And the free laundry service was a lifesaver. Drying your clothes is 100 yen/20 minutes but my clothes were mostly dry in that 20 so wash and dry for 100 seems a great deal to me.

The only complaint I can have is that the pillows were somehow just as hard as the rocks in the public bath.

The location was amazing. Easy access to Kyoto Station and the plethora of restaurants around there. Convenience store right next to the hotel. I think there was a way to go directly to it as well. The Dormy inn always has a bath available and it did not disappoint. Going from the hot bath to the cold bath and back felt really great after a long day of visiting various shrines around Kyoto.

The only thing I disliked was the pillows felt like sleeping on rocks. So if you like a little softer pillow make sure to pack your own or bring a collapsible one.

A friend advised us to stay in Dormy Inn saying our family would love it. He was absolutely right! From the minute we walked in, the staff was there to greet us and accommodate our every wish. We were surprised and delighted to receive a paper that listed all the fun things we would find at Dormy Inn including the wonderful hot springs pool, comfortable pajamas to change into, free noodles at 9:30 pm, free ice cream upstairs, and friendly happy travelers. We were overjoyed at the expansive breakfast with every delicacy imaginable! And the coffee was exquisite! One of our favorite memories was sitting in the dining room eating noodles at night with people from all over the world, all of us wearing our comfy Dormy Inn jammies. A thousand thanks for an unforgettable stay!

I absolutely love this hotel—true to its name, "Premier." The location couldn’t be better; it’s just a few minutes' walk from Kyoto Station, making travel incredibly convenient with no need for transfers. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find countless shopping centers, restaurants, and bakeries to explore, not to mention Kyoto Tower and all the rich offerings at Kyoto Station. The hotel offers so much, starting with its outstanding onsen—three of them—plus a sauna, providing plenty of relaxation options. There’s also an on-site laundry facility, an ice machine, and thoughtful extras like free ice cream and a free noodle bar at night. Microwaves, ice machines, and hot and cold water are available on various floors, adding to the convenience. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of choices and well worth the price. The rooms are much more spacious than those in typical Japanese business hotels, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer and will definitely come again in the future.

This is a much larger hotel with a diverse mix of guests, so it can feel busy at times, though never overwhelming. Occasionally, I could hear traffic noise from the street. However, the pros far outweigh these minor drawbacks.

There is a decent number of washing machines and dryers (3 machines each) inside the ladies' bath area - more machines also inside men's which altogether, is quite a decent number of machines that i don't feel like I am 'fighting' for laundry availability at all. The location of the hotel is really close to Kyoto Station from the Central exit which makes it accessible and convenient for us. Love all the free amenities including nightly ramen & ice cream.

We booked a few rooms as we were travelling in a group. So we could test and feel the beds in the different rooms. Most of the beds were getting a little worn out where the mattress were either a little too soft or not enough proper cushioning. Probably time for a mattress refresh. The rooms were mostly black and brown colour themed which made it a bit dark.
