Medano. First class service on an international scale. Beautiful, well managed property. Ideal location with main beach, marina, shopping center within short 2 block distance. Couldn’t be any better. The street running from the hotel to beach has a number of Cabo’s best restaurants including top rated Edith’s. At staff recommendation tried Mariscos Shrimp & Lobster House directly across from the hotel. The deep fried whole Red Snapper was exceptional. Restaurant at the Medano is called Kuma’s (where the waters meet). Huge breakfast selection and portabello mushroom tacos made a delicious supper. Cabo has a vibrant music community and many of the restaurants by the hotel have live music. Wonderful to be out in the evening and have music in the air. In Mexico the people are always friendly and helpful. The Medano has great staff ready to offer practical advice. I’m fairly active so was considering renting a Kayak and paddling to Arches on my own. Front desk staff assured me that was doable, but recommended early start to avoid the boat traffic. Thanks to them had an otherworldly morning on the water. Really enjoyed meeting Matias at front desk. When travelling, it’s always a joy to meet someone who really enjoys their work, takes pride and wants to to share their community. Matias and rest of staff have this attitude. I needed some help at a critical moment with a special situation and he went above and beyond to help me sort things out. The helpful attitude of all the staff made the property feel like home. I’ll definitely be back.

The hotel is in a great location. Central to walk to the beach, marina, restaurants, and bars. The staff was friendly and helpful. Entertainment at the hotel in the evenings and great drinks at the bar. The breakfast was included and was fantastic. Great choices. Rooms were large and clean. Pool was perfect for relaxing. They also offer a shuttle back to the airport for $25 per person. Will definitely return.

Loved everything.

Excellent quality for the price. Ideal location at the heart of Cabo San Lucas. Perfect if you plan to go to a whale watching tour as it’s just a 15-minute walk to the pier. Also all the good restaurants are just 5-minute walk. The rooms are bit worn, but nothing critical. The external door of the room wasn’t soundproof so a lot of street-level noise was coming in even on the 6th floor as the hotel has open air hallways on every floor. There was a buffet breakfast for 3 mornings and for some reason they switched to A La Carte on our last morning and limited to one plate/dish per person so it wasn’t possible to have fresh fruits with your bacon and eggs. So that was a little disapointing end to our otherwise excellent stay.

The property was clean, and I had service every day of my stay, and always made my bed and added Water every day, which was nice

On my check-in day. When I arrived to my room. There was no towels anywhere, so I had to go downstairs and tell the front desk that I didn’t have any towels. Staff sent somebody a few minutes after with them. I did have a little encounter on my last day at checkout, but not with the front desk. It was actually with the restaurant that they’re associated with for the breakfast included.

The hotel has a great location with a beach and marina within 10-12 mins walking distance. Lots of good restaurants and stores nearby. I didn't use the pool but it looked clean. I got a pool facing room with a balcony. The room was spacious and clean. Bathrooms were clean and the shower was good with hot water and a good flow of water. The room had a refrigerator and complimentary water and coffee was a good gesture from the facility. Lastly my booking included breakfast which had many good options to choose from. Overall it's a great value for the money.

The staff were all so great! From the minute we arrived we knew we were in the right spot to celebrate Martha's birthday. I can't remember the man's name who took our luggage, parked our car and brought us to our FULLY decorated room but he was awesome. I mean it was memorable! We were first greeted by a Happy Birthday banner across the door. Upon entering, they had the champagne I ordered on ice, the roses I ordered as well on display, and they added balloons on the ceiling, a cake made from towels, a slice of birthday cake on a plate with Feliz Cumpleanos in chocolate! What a tremendous effort they put in.....Gael and Elizabeth were delightful at breakfast and food is OUTSTANDING. Try the chicken enchiladas or the juevos rancheros. Spend time at their amazing pool with another ray of sunshine that is the young lady at the pool bar. So sweet and she makes a great Margarita! Super location. We will be back!!!!

location and friendliness

It didn't have microwave or toaster. I really didn't like being next to convention room and tons of people waiting in chairs outside my room and down hall waiting for some kind of screening or testing. I felt very uncomfortable being in my room with them outside my room and I didn't like passing by them on way to room. Some wouldn't even move their feet stretched out in walkway.

Its perfectly located near everything. (beach, restaurants, gym, spa, downtown, walmart) Taxi's, uber or bus are easily accessible. It's clean and staff is very helpful especially Matias if you are looking to do events.

The restaurant is a little slow at times but great staff. Just can't be in a hurry to do anything. Freddy is awesome.

Location was great, walking distance to lots of places to see, shops, eateries and groceries. 2 blocks from the beach. Matias was great! Always greeted us with a smile and inquired about how was everything , what did we have planned and also helpful suggestions and recommendations. Housekeeping also awesome! On site restaurant had great food and free breakfast, too. Stomach was happy!

Very clean, modern retreat space in the heart of the city, within walking distance to numerous, shops, services, and local businesses. Beds and linens were very comfortable, clean, and classy. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Delicious on site breakfast in pleasant courtyard.
