This hotel is pretty standard for a Holiday Inn. Very clean, good beds, a choice of pillows. The electric socket next to the bed didn't work, and when I told the front desk, they immediately sent up a maintenance man to fix it—Fidel was very friendly and professional, and replaced the socket in minutes. I also needed to print a document, and the front desk did it for me for free, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, great service in a clean and comfortable environment.

The WiFi signal wasn't strong in my room. Additionally, you can't use a VPN with it, which I wasn't happy about since public WiFi networks are generally not considered safe.

Everything was wonderful! The location was perfect; right near the marina. This made it super easy to board a boat or catamaran for snorkelling excursions, or to walk to the nearby beaches to snorkel and swim. La Entrega, Playa Maguey and Playa Del Organo are 45 minutes away by foot. We could walk to La Crucecita in 20 minutes. It is near a very large market with vendors selling everything you can imagine, including wondered souvenirs. There is a large variety of restaurants surrounding the hotel, and you are only a short walk from Playa Santa Cruz. The breakfast buffet was amazing! There is a station where they prepare made-to-order eggs any way you like them, along with quesadillas, pancakes, etc. There were always seven different hot offerings which they mixed up every day to keep it interesting. There was a lovely selection of fruit - pineapple, cantaloupe, watermelon and papaya. Other items include jello, yogurt, cottage cheese, greens, sauces (pico de gallo!), and a variety of breads and baked goods, and cereals. And to drink, a variety of juices, hot chocolate, tea and coffee. Our room on the third floor was huge, with an enormous and very comfortable king-size bed. The shower was lovely with great water pressure. We appreciated the counter space in the bathroom too. A small balcony facing the street was nice and gave us a place to hang our wet towels and bathing suits. The elevator was super fast! The pool is small but well situated behind the restaurant. The deck chairs are very comfortable and they all have umbrellas. Thick towels are provided. We didn’t have any issues finding chairs on the day we visited the pool. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Fabulous location. Close walking to EVERYTHING & the beach. Great tasty, & inexpensive tacos right next door. The breakfast buffet. Some very outstanding & delicious dishes. Friendly staff, upon arrival we were given a cool refreshment to drink. There was a Starbucks in the lobby. A restaurant on site. Check out at noon. The absolutely comfortable bed & pillows. The suite with the marina view. The shower & bathroom products. Room was very spacious, with a mini fridge. Secure Parking on site. Beatituful & clean hotel.

Pool was not as large for such a big hotel. All though a nice clean pool. Only 1 water bottle per room. With the price of the suite with the marina view it should have included 2 water bottles.

In my top 5 favorite hotels ever. The staff here are consistantly of the finest caliber. You will never feel neglected. I have stayed here 3 times in the last three years and I love it. Beds are very comfortable, shower is spacious and the rooms are impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. To top it all off there is a barrista in the lobby making Starbucks coffees. Wifi is good and I was able to get in a couple days of work.

On my last visit the guest washing machine was broken, but we took a taxi to a local laundry (Mina's Laundry) and picked it up washed and folded the next day. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

We definitely will return to your Holiday Inn, the staff were all so very nice from Saul at our welcome (receptionist's too), to the bartenders and well everyone. Our room was always so clean Anai took exceptional care! At breakfast Rodolfo was so attentive and always in a great mood, the food was always yummy and a Special " thank you" to the head chef who made me his specialty omelette that was amazing. The young girl that was both bartender and delivered our room service was also great:) All in all we loved our stay, the beds were so comfortable, and we were very happy! Thank you!!! PS- clean refreshing pool too!

Honestly, we have no complaints.

Excellent breakfast, we did pay extra for it, but well worth it. Lots of choices, including made to order omelets! The breads were also good. I liked the fresh fruit and would have liked to see more citrus fruits such as oranges or grapefruits.

The size of the pool was a little small, but adequate to cool off. I also found that the menu could have had more choices, but it was very tasty. Alcoholic drinks were a little pricey.

The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed. The hotel seemed to be in good shape. The pool is nice and convenient to the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were able to park the rental car for free. The hotel is very close to the bay in Santa Cruz, which is nice.

The communication before check in was weird. Every question I asked got the same answer, which was basically telling me that under no circumstances could I check in before 3, and that checkins after 6 would cause my credit card to be charged. I got multiple messages about this, to the point where I was feeling that the hotel management is not friendly. The restaurant staff did not inform us for 15 minutes that the breakfast needed to be inside at the restaurant, and not at the table in front of the pool where we went for breakfast. It just felt like communication isn't good.

Excellent breakfast with traditional Mexican cuisine dishes and not what you usually get at a buffet. Everyone was very kind and it is one block of distance from the marina where you take the tours to the different beaches.

No mini fridge but not a deal breaker for us.

The cleaning staff regularly missed providing either cups, water, regular coffee, Kleenex, washcloth, when they cleaned. Other guests were getting good cleaning service and even towel sculptures. The front desk always provided the missed items, so it wasn’t terrible, just annoying.

The location is excellent. There is a taxi station right around the corner where you can get transportation to the downtown area. It’s also close to restaurants at the beach and to the pedestrian route to the downtown area, which is about a 20 minute walk. The ocean here is very calm and safe to swim with children. Also, the hotel has a washer and dryer that you can use to do your laundry, which was a huge help to us. The housekeeping staff provided excellent customer service along.

The receptionist wasn’t too friendly, but the rest of the staff made up for her.
