Excellent value for your money compared to other places… sure the rooms are a little rustic but still ver comfy and the equipment garden pool ect are awesome ! The garden is a dream… very beautiful environment with lots of plants and really nice pool Walking distance to beach and a few local restaurants, cafes, small grocery stores very practical Surrounded by gorgeous mountains Very friendly staff Rooms were pretty basic/rustic but still very comfortable and kept very clean by the staff ! Great daily cleaning service I loved the chairs on the balcony where we could hang out but also meet people at the same time

Kitchen is pretty basic though they will provide what you need it takes ages to get something to boil not very practical to cook but we adapted so it wasn’t a good deal after all It’s a little rustic but still remains very comfortable and clean so we didn’t mind It can be a little loud we got pretty lucky we didn’t have people partying above us some had…. It was still pretty loud some night from other guests … wasn’t a huge deal for us but can be a little disturbance of your sensitive

The location was safe, staff was very kind and accommodating. There were A/Cs in every room along with fans. The place is walking distance to the beach (up a little hill and down one). Short drive to Boca where you can get water taxis to Yelapa for the day or take a tour up the hill for the water falls/Predator experience. The pool was nice and the plants/flowers were beautiful around the location. There are ATV and horseback riding options nearby as well.

The kitchen could use a few more supplies but we made do and had a great time. And the sleeper sofa wasn't really one but at the end of the day we all fit. It is near a river/stream so there were some mosquitoes and I have sweet blood so I was eaten alive despite buying bug spray at the pharmacy.

The room was lovely. Comfy beds, extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen has dishes but no coffee maker or micro. Pool had a 'Jacuzzi' area that was adults only. It wasn't heated but I appreciated the upper pool area space kid free. There were quite a few families with kids. Short walk to Mismaloya Beach area ...crowded with small boats,restaurants, pay to use lounge chairs etc People were in the water but I wouldn't swim there. Bus stop is near by as is a convenience store and farmacia. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Evidently the dirt lot beside,kind of behind the hotel....a stone's throw from my room is a random event venue. There was a Quincenera there that was insane....started about 6pm- 5am! Fireworks,a live band with a horn section,a DJ....even with ear plugs it was like it was happening outside my door! I did not sleep that night( Sat night). The hotel benefits with guests that attend the events...the rest of us should be put on the other side of the place! I would never stay here on a weekend again. Ugh

Loved that it wasn't wedged alongside all the big resorts. It was charming and fun, and you felt like you were actually in Mexico, not segregated behind walls of a big resort that could be anywhere. The staff were lovely, the pool was a bit chilly but still nice to have access to, our suite was BIG. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, a patio that overlooked the street, which also faced the stream that ran parallel to the street. I would absolutely stay there again. If you're looking for a fancy resort this isn't for you. If you're looking for a laid back place about a 10 or so minute walk to the beach, with basic but clean rooms, then go for it.

The door to get out to the patio was near impossible to open. We got it open enough to squeeze out. The shower door of the ensuite bathroom didn't close properly, but that was a minimal issue. The shower was massive and had two shower heads. One didn't really work but the other was fine. On the 2nd last day of the trip the bathroom ceiling started leaking quite a lot. They gave us towels to put on the floor. Which was ok, because we were leaving the day after so not a super big deal.

The dinner options in the restaurant were very good and the servers were friendly and helpful. The maids were very helpful and nice. It was nice having the OXXO next door and being close enough to walk to the beach.

The hotel was clean. There was room service everyday. I appreciated the bottles of water they gave. The staff was very kind. The location is beautiful, surrounding by mountains and super close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk. I discovered a few restaurants in the street behind the hotel. I highly recommend El Patio del cuale. I was a solo traveler and it was not scary to walk around everywhere. Very safe area. I found another restaurant close by called Mismaloya Grill. If you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean, I highly recommend.

It was pretty noisy at night until at least 10pm. The room had an old smell. It is pretty old and dated but functional.

It is an older property but well maintained. It is basic but clean, friendly, close to beach and has a refreshing pool. There was a few kids for a soccer tournament here so a little noisy but the place is quiet. My wife only wanted granola for breakfast but since I wanted a full breakfast that let her eat for free.

Every thing was nice.

The swimming pool and grounds are very nice. Lots of.cbairs and loungers at pool. The office and reservation staff are very helpful. No .matter what I needed Anna was always ready to help or passed it off to another staff member who could get right to it. The prices are very low.

The rooms have all the basics but not much else. Very low on silver ware. No coffee pot or microwave. .I asked for a coffee pot and got one. If you ask, someone will likely go hunt up in another room .no hairdryers and you have to get creative cooking on 2 burners

Reasonable priced breakfast buffet with tasty options for everyone. Nice cold a/c units in each room. Friendly staff and people in the village. Short walk to lots of food options, zoo, beach, bus and oxxo right out front. Do yourself a favour and walk across the foot bridge over the river...you will see horses to your right. Ask for Emmanuel and he will take you on horseback 40 minutes through the jungle up the mountain following the river to El Eden. There you can zip line and cool off in the river pool. Also up the road from hotel is some nice tequila distilleries

Only thing I could recommend is to bring your own washcloths (small ones) and coffee whitener/sugar, as the hotel doesn't provide these items. The coffee they had was excellent though just drank it black. Also the maid service leaves bottles of water each day which was a plus

The pool and gardens were wonderful! We enjoyed them very much and were exactly what we had hoped for!

The property itself was wonderful. Beautiful and a great value. A couple small things that would have made things better would be to have chairs and a small table outside of the ground floor suites. Also, a toaster in the kitchenette would have been great!
