Great location, there was always something to do such as yoga, bingo, Zumba etc. my friend and I went with the purpose of relaxing and this location did a great job! The food at the buffet was a bit more exotic than what we expected, but we always found something to eat. Picky eaters will have a hard time here. There are 3 restaurants that need reservations that are nearly impossible to get. We never had problems getting more drinks. We got a massage on site that was amazing and the views were to die for. Or room was comfortable, the drain in the shower was slow causing water to flood the bathroom if you took longer than 5 minutes. Overall, the resort is not perfect, but if you are wanting a place to relax and spend time on a clean beach on a budget, this place is great!

We liked the spacious room and comfortable bed. The à la carte restaurants were fantastic. The Caribbean Sea at the back of the hotel was blue and wonderful. If you have the will, you can cross the street and go to the La Isla shopping center just a few meters from the hotel. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel where R1 and R2 lines go to other malls or downtown. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Entertainment activities were well organized. Thank you!

Food was abundant but there is a cut off time for the sit down restaurants. We were lining up for more than an hour at the Italian restaurant and when we were near ( meaning we were the 3rd group in the line) , the lady said they have to close, no bueno!

The guard at the front did not let our friend go inside who is staying at another hotel and would like a day pass to hang out with us. The guard said 10 AM when our friend can come in but I told him it’s 9AM and I verified with the front desk . He still argued and he went with us to verify to the doormen , we were right.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, with great flexibility. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean, and any requests we had were promptly attended to. Overall, a wonderful experience! If you plan to book this hotel, remember that upon check-in, you'll need to download an app. This app allows you to reserve tables for dinner and make other requests such as cleaning services and more.

What I didn't like was the food, especially in the restaurants. Surprisingly, the food in the buffet was better than in the restaurant. The only good option was tacos.

That only certain members could use the beds at the beach. They try very hard to sell you on becoming a club member and when you say NO they can be a little harsh and rude. Only 4 restaurants and the Buffet area had the same food everyday For the price that we paid , we expected an ocean view unit but all we had was a garden/bushes view. Our room had a water leaking issue and I slipped a couple times, we had to use towels to try up the floor and to allow them to soak up rhe water. We had a total of 2 rooms because we were a party of two, one bedroom smelled good but my bedroom had a strong mold smell that gave me headaches every time i walked in the room.

we absolutely loved the staff, the activities during the day and at night and the easy access to pools and beaches. the staff was so kind and easy to converse with. artemio, Marcos, Efrain, and Arturo were especially kind and made our stay very special. the upkeep of the facilities was noticeably well done!

the food was extremely sub par.

The staff were very friendly, felt that they love their job. Food was delicious of all restaurants. Literally, available from 7am to almost 3am. Fantastic facilities such as swimming pools with bars, roof top with bar at night, multiple restaurants, beach huts and private cabins etc etc. we both loved it and will definitely book the park royal again.

The first towel in a spa should be warm towel.

location was perfect, from the beach to the mall accross the street to being 10 mins from the bars and clubs. I loved the ease of coming in and out of my room and to where we needed to go and it was great being right next to a Mayan Ruin. Felt really safe, and every staff was extremely nice. Loved having our own Terrace facing the beach and view of the Mayan Ruin, and we definitely took advantage of our large patio water tub!

Restaurants: service and decore was great, but the food was a little lacking in taste. I'm not a foodie, so I cant really say, but it just wasn't something I would come back for more. Limited sea food options. also lack of room service.
